Nashville’s Liberal Mayor and His Use Of Obama’s Failed Policies. Part 2

In response to Mayor John Coopers forming a commission on police reform, and the eventual hiring of a new police chief, some of its members had this to say: “Nashville needs a police department that is responsive to all of our residents and that is committed to transparency and accountability,” said Sabina Mohyuddin, Executive Director of the American Muslim Advisory Committee. “I am grateful to Mayor Cooper for bringing together this diverse group to begin the process of making Nashville a more just city.”

“The Statement for Policing Policy Commission is comprehensive, ambitious, balanced and sensitive to the needs of the greater Nashville community,” said Dr. Chris Jackson, Pastor at Pleasant Green Baptist Church and President of the Interfaith Ministerial Alliance.

Notice the trend..responsive and sensitive to the Nashville community?

Mayor Cooper directed the Commission to form three committees to undertake this work, led by former Mayor Karl Dean and Judge Richard Dinkins, a civil rights activist and judge for the Tennessee Court of Appeals.  Cooper has requested the commission to complete their report by the end of October, reminding them that they are “drafting the blueprint which the next Chief of Police will build upon,”

The three committees will be working on:  1) Serving Nashville’s Communities 2) Screening, Supervision, Resources, and Recruitment and 3) Policies, Tactics, and Training.

Let’s look at the first area of work, “Serving Nashville’s Communities”. The basis for this agenda is what experiences have Nashvillians had with police use of force, how does the MNPD interact with people with mental illnesses, how can the MNPD better support community and neighborhood engagement strategies and more effectively address violent crime, particularly gun crime and are there opportunities for the MNPD (and Metro more broadly) to improve responses in its interactions with homeless residents, juveniles, and other vulnerable populations?

Police officers are required to fulfill 40 hours of mandatory, in service training every year.  That training includes courses on mental health, and child sex abuse, with new courses added as issues within communities evolve. Police training also focuses on use of force policies, and receive updates as policies change. Police training in Tennessee is overseen and certified by a POST Commission, with stringent guidelines, and well vetted instructors that must meet and comply with POST standards.

That being said, our law enforcement officers are professional, well trained individuals with skills that exceed past the classroom and into the communities.  Protecting and serving is their job, however “serving” seems to mean different things to many. Serving a community is the ability to keep it safe and free from crime. Serving is ensuring quality of life issues, and ordinances are adhered to.

 Serving is not bowing to a community to meet their whims, or appease one group over another.  It is not creating special classes of people, whether by religion, or ethnicity. These were the methods that Obama’s policing strategies attempted, and  failed.  Why would any city official continue to implement failed agendas.

Time after time, it is always the police that must change in order to please a community. Police are not the answer to all of societies ills, but are blamed for their existence.

Nashville’s Liberal Mayor and His Use Of Obama’s Failed Policies. Part 1

We either have laws, and law enforcers in our country or we don’t. 

We also have a President, and his name is Donald Trump, not Barack Hussein Obama, who radical liberal mayors continue to praise and implement his failed police policies.

On June 3 2020, Former president Obama urged mayors across the country to review their police departments use of force policies and to create reform within their jurisdictions based on his May 2015 report, “The President’s Task Force 21st Century Policing”.

On Aug 14, 2020 Nashville Mayor John Cooper announced the creation of Metro Nashville’s Policing Policy Commission, which has been created to review use-of-force policies within the MNPD and develop necessary reforms to set a new national standard in policing and public safety.

 Obeying  Obama’s call for action, Cooper’s announcement of this commission, he states “In response to a call to action from President Barack Obama for cities to address use of force policies and practices, I have created the Policing Policy Commission (PPC). The first purpose of the Commission is to identify ways for the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) to reduce the use of force. But it also has a broader purpose: to begin a community-wide process of reimagining how Nashville can build trust and enhance community safety.”

 Just prior to Obama’s report, in March of 2015 his Department of Justice led by Eric Holder announced 6 cities would be the testing ground for his idea of a national and federal police force.  His scheme, which was very controversial due in part not only for federalizing police but for its $5 million dollar price tag and the DOJ stepping into local police departments business.

Obama and the DOJ publicly used the plan as a guise to “restore trust” in communities of color, and instituted the program in six cities. Minneapolis police embraced the “pillars” of the final report from Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing, and after five years, the city is no closer to achieving the primary objective of creating trust between police and the communities they serve.  Riots burned large sections of the city after a police officer was involved in the death of George Floyd, a known thug. How’d that policy work for Minneapolis huh?

So now another city mayor, John Cooper has decided to structure his shot at police reform after a failed policy, from a failed former president. You can create all the policies and ideas of reform you want, but until and unless the criminal element in these communities is dealt with, police will always have to face using force. Why is it the police are the only ones in society that have to be reformed? Criminals aren’t born criminals, it is a learned behavior from a dysfunctional home life.

It is no different in Nashville Tennessee, where the mayor seems to think his communities are disadvantaged and mistreated by the police. In the upcoming parts, we will break down the mayors plan to reform the Metro Nashville Police, and who he has chosen to lead the commission.

Warren County TN, Latest to Fall Under Mask Hysteria

Once again Tennessee’s weak mayors and county executives are choosing to be followers rather than leaders when it comes to the Corona virus. While wearing a mask should be a personal choice, lefty leaners feel its citizens are not responsible or smart enough to make that choice , hence many continue to issue mask mandates. One example of that is from the Warren County Tennessee County Executive Jimmy Haley, who on August 13, declared masks are now mandated throughout the city of McMinnville and county.

It is obvious County Executive Haley needed a power boost, as he waited until late in the game to announce his mandate. According to the TN Department of Health Covid numbers as of Aug 13, the same date Mr. Haley declared his mandate, Warren County had the data below.

However on July 13, Warren County had the highest number of reported cases, 32, yet no mask mandate for residents. If masks work, why would Mr. Haley have waited until now to issue his order? The population of Warren County TN is 39,839, and total number of cases to date is 567, with 4 deaths. As with the majority of cities and counties across Tennessee, the numbers do not make sense, nor do the mandates put in place according to those numbers.

The mask debate is a very controversial one, with many professionals at odds. For every one health official stating masks work, there is one that argues they do not. Even the current CDC mask information page states mask MAY work, but not necessarily for the wearer. Just more conflicting, and confusing data.

So as this subject and liberal coward elected officials continue to divide residents of every county, city and state, elected officials take the stand depending on their own personal ideology, forgetting this is America, the freest country on earth. Health decisions are a personal choice, not one meant for government to dictate. We do not live in a sterile society, nor will we ever.  

 The choice to wear a mask should not be the decision by the government, but by the individual.

Tullahoma TN: Diversity or Leftist Agenda?

Early in July,  Tullahoma TN city alderman Rupa Blackwell held a meeting to form a “diversity” council. The first meeting was attended by many city residents, which all were asked what they would like to see included in this council.  While the conversation brought up important, real issues, one only has to look at the paper board with the issues brought up by  Rupa Blackwell  who is spearheading this project to see it’s more than diversity.  Bullying, hate speech, gender bias, access to minority businesses and more. No, this isn’t about diversity.   This is about the bigger agenda being driven by leftist liberals: erasing history, tearing down statues, embracing socialism, supporting a Marxist organization called Black Lives Matter, censoring speech they find offensive,   and claiming all whites are racist and supremacists.

And as if right on cue following the rest of the liberal cities looking to erase American history, Other ideas mentioned included looking into renaming some streets or facilities that were named for Confederate soldiers.

 Folks, again, this isn’t about diversity. Diversity is a word used when certain members of various populations want to change their surroundings to fit their beliefs and lifestyles.  This is about the current political climate throughout America, which is anti-everything that America stands for.

  According to the Tullahoma News,  Jodi McGregor said she had lived in her own “privileged bubble” her entire life and wanted to take steps to better understand the intricacies of the town she’s called home for the last four years. She shared how shocked she was when a friend mentioned a local park that was known to be a hot spot for drug deals. “Drug selling in parks doesn’t happen in my part of town,” she said, adding that it helped illustrate how much she still did not understand about others in the community.

Apparently now when you don’t have crime in your neighborhood, it is because you are privileged.

So what could be expected if a diversity council were actually implemented?

  According to the National Diversity Council, which has chapters all over the U.S,   its founder Dennis Kennedy summed it up in his first statement.   

“Greetings.  Over the course of 2019, we welcomed President Barack Obama as the keynote speaker for our National Diversity and Leadership Conference; unveiled our PRIDE Worldwide celebration in Mexico City; kicked off Legal Diversity Week featuring former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and celebrated the 2019 Dubai Women in Leadership Symposium.”

Rupa Blackwell, the city alderman who launched this idea, was endorsed by the Women for Tennessee’s Future, a very liberal organization whose founding member was the disgraced, former mayor of Nashville Megan Barry, among others. According to the donor website “Open Secrets”, the Women for Tennessee’s Future is listed as a “liberal” organization.

It is important to understand who endorsed Ms. Blackwell, as it shows the ideology she supports and is eager to implement. One dangerous endorsement by the Women for Tennessee’s Future was Nigerian Zulfat Suara, who was elected to the Nashville Metro Council. Ms. Suara has many connections to Muslim Brotherhood organizations, and on her social media she posted pictures of her with Rashida Tlaib, and declared she is honored and inspired by Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, two radical Islamists  who are very vocal about changing America.

Accepting an endorsement from an organization who outwardly claims to support Black Lives Matter should be  a red flag. In this video,one of its co-founders, Patrisse Cullors admits she and another co founder are trained Markists.

What Motivates Me

Personally, I want what every parent wants: a good school system, great amenities, and good jobs and industry. While this might sound trite to some, to me it is a tangible list of goals. I want to expand our pedestrian and bike infrastructure so that our children can easily and safely get to our fantastic schools. I want good roads that allow for everyone in the community to access the many parks, our greenway, and our robust art and athletic scene. And of course, business recruitment that makes sense for our community: those that offer good pay, benefits and a pathway into management. My reason for wanting these things is simple: I want my children to come back here to raise their families one day. Just as I did.

Funny, Ms. Blackwell forgot to mention the far left agenda she is supported by, and now wants to implement.

If We Want To Remain America, Stand Your Ground.

 

It is happening right before our eyes. The destruction of America by Communists and Marxists  (Antifa) under the banner of black lives matter is continuing on a daily basis as political leaders sit on their hands for fear of being offensive. No longer is it just a statue issue either. They are coming for you.

As we lead up to the most important election of our time, BLM members and their Antifa counterparts promise to avenge anything white, or conservative by going after local, small town elected officials and business owners.  “If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right? And I could be speaking figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation” says the leader of BLM in NYC Hawk Newsome.

“Let’s be very real,” Newsome said. “Let’s observe the history of the 1960s, when black people were rioting. We had the highest growth in wealth, in property ownership. Think about the last few weeks since we started protesting. There have been eight cops fired across the country.”

Using this intimidation and stoking fears of violence seems to be the trend, rather than using their voice at the ballot box, which proves the point BLM has been hijacked by Antifa types.  Yet many blacks refuse to get angry at one of their own, Patrisse Cullors, who has no shame admitting on video she has been trained to be a Marxist.

Using the tactics from Communism adorer Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals,  “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions” seems to be how Antifa is pushing blacks  attempting to shame white people into thinking they should have guilt or must repent for sins of ancestors.

 These “movements”  are increasingly becoming  more dangerous and weaponized as their disgruntled members are empowered by their funders to spread their “actions” into suburban and rural areas.  Local groups of BLM are now showing up at rallies meant to support law enforcement or President Trump, trying to intimidate and offend anyone present.

Whites are being forced to apologize for insensitive comments made on social media, to avoid losing  their jobs. Any businesses using social media to support police are immediately boycotted and surrounded to force customers to leave. According to PJ Media “In Oregon City, a medium-sized city south of Portland, a protest group has organized a recall against the mayor. The suburb of Gresham saw resignations from its mayor, city manager, and chief of police. And in Salem, the state’s capital, several school board members have been targeted for destruction”.  All because a small disenfranchised group decided they wanted to disrupt and dismantle.

The bottom line is unfortunately, in todays volatile social climate, you must be prepared to face opposition and potential violence. Expect to be a target, and plan you reactions. From County commission and school board meetings to political town halls, know that groups may appear to attempt to force you into making bad, sudden decisions.

We as a civilized, law abiding society must not give in to those seeking to destroy us.  Do not apologize. Do not make promises.  Do not fear. Stand your ground.

 Fight for what is right before it is too late.

Greene County TN Biased Election Commissioner Still On the Job.

As the 2020 Presidential election approaches, it is of utmost importance we demand our voting process works, and is run by unbiased, fair people. But will it be fair to the residents of Greene County TN? In February of this year, Lena Kendrick Dean, a Greene County election commissioner posted on social media her blatant disdain for President Donald Trump. Her posts contained foul, disgraceful pictures, including the below of a lipstick she proudly purchased, called “Fuck Trump”.  Along with other derogatory statements regarding the President, we learned Ms. Dean is also on the leadership team of a well organized, radical group called “Indivisible”. While Ms. Dean defended her position by claiming Indivisible is just a group of people helping communities, it clearly is not, and has the stated mission to do whatever it takes to see President Trump lose.

Really? An election official publicly showing her hatred for a president who is running for re-election, and her role as a commissioner is to uphold the “purity of the vote?  The residents of Greene County deserve to be assured their votes are guarded, and counted.

So who and what is Indivisible?

In January of 2017, Indivisible released “ A Practical Guide For Resisting the Trump Agenda”.  The main purpose for this guide was to compare lessons learned from the Tea Party movement, and how to get Congress to respond to your demands. The tactics and strategies advanced in the Indivisible Guide are modeled on those of the conservative Tea Party movement that came to prominence during President Barack Obama‘s first term in office

Indivisible was founded by five former Democratic congressional staffers in the immediate aftermath of Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton in the November 2016 presidential election.  Indivisible’s first order of business was to launch a website devoted to providing leftists and liberals with strategies for countering the “radical, racist, and sexist” objectives of President Trump.

Indivisible’s modus operandi is rooted in the organizing tactics of Saul Alinsky, who wrote:

“Wherever possible, go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.”

“Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.”

“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself. If your organization is small in numbers,… conceal the members in the dark but raise a din and clamor that will make the listener believe that your organization numbers many more than it does.”

So when Ms. Dean posts pictures of herself and other Indivisible members doing good deeds for her community, know that the real agenda is based on Saul Alinsky and his “Rules for Radicals” mentality. Seems hard to imagine someone with these ideals could be fair as an election commissioner.

This is America, and certainly everyone is entitled to their opinions, and belong to opposing organizations. However, Ms Dean also has a responsibility to do a duty and conduct herself in a professional manner. According to the Greene County Election Commission webpage, it states:

The Greene County Election Commissions’ purpose as designated by Tennessee Code Annotated (2-1-102) is to:
                                                               Secure the freedom and purity of the ballot.

After exposing Ms Dean in February of 2020, many residents called both their local election office as well as the state Election Commission. Shortly after that, this author received a letter from an attorney asking to meet with Ms Dean to talk things over. It also stated many things written were not quite accurate, at which time we responded please advise us of any inaccuracies or falsehoods and we would certainly retract them. To date, there has never been a report of any such inaccuracies or falsehoods. Obviously, the letter was meant to attempt to stifle our findings regarding Ms Deans behavior. 

Facts are facts. Can Ms Dean represent the Greene County voters in an unbiased, fair and credible manner? You be the judge.

Why Millions Do Not Support Black Lives Matter

 The current climate has many believing if you do not support  Black Lives Matter you are considered a racist. However, there are millions who do not support it, or find it credible due to it being founded on the lie “hands up don’t shoot”. Promoting an agenda based on a proven lie has diminished its struggle for justice. It all began with the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson MO on August 9 2014 at the hands of a white police officer. As the criminal acquittal of the officer caused communities to be enraged, former Attorney General Eric Holder launched an investigation to see if civil rights were violated. On page 8 of Eric Holders report it states:

       

The entire claim that Michael Brown was surrendering with his hands up exclaiming “don’t shoot” was proven not to be true. Another problem Black Lives Matter has, is the out right, public  disdain for police. It is certainly a first amendment right to declare your hate for something, but promoting violence towards those you hate is something else. In this video originally captured by NBC, protestors in NYC are heard chanting “what do we want?” “Dead cops!” “When do we want it?” “Now!”    This as the death of Eric Garner sparked new protests by Black Lives Matter in December of 2014/

Probably the most egregious faults of the Black Lives Matter movement is the slogan itself.  How is it black lives matter, but only those killed at the hands of white police? Hundreds of black, mostly men are murdered every single day in cities throughout the United States, with Chicago leading the way. Why do their lives not matter enough for rage and demands for change? Do their families grieve any less because, their son was killed by one of their own? Did that life not matter enough because a white cop was not their killer? Murder is murder, but it seems to take a different perspective when a black is killed by a black.

It never fails that when a sign or chant declaring “all lives matter” is seen or heard, the word racist is used immediately. It is unfortunate what could be a symbol for change and justice is demeaned and exploited.  Until those who lead the movement of Black Lives Matter shows their sincerity and willingness to be outraged at every black death, including the millions of black babies aborted, their cause will only appeal to those who are taken by lies not facts. 

Murder is Murder…all lives matter.

Nashville’s Mayor John Cooper Needs to Go!

Nashville Mayor John Cooper has some explaining to do. On Friday, May 29 Cooper sent an invitation to the Metro Common Council urging them to join him in attending an “I will Breathe” rally.  So what’t the problem? This is the same Mayor that has insisted residents of Davidson County, obey the restrictions and guidelines  on “social distancing” he has put into place regarding the corona virus. The city of Nashville has been severely damaged due to the stringent rules he has set in place, even going so far as to cancel the 4th of July celebration, because too many people would gather.

The hypocrisy of not allowing groups of 50 or more to gather, but then promoting, supporting  and attending a rally of thousands, is  astounding.  Nashvillians are fed up, as they have watched surrounding officials open their counties  as the virus winds down, yet they continue to be strangled  by the Mayors rules. Why would anyone continue to obey Mayor John Coopers rules, as he dismisses them for his own political agenda?

Another question that should be brought to the cities attention, is why the Community Oversight Board, a highly contentious group that over reaches its authority on police issues, is receiving funds from those who supported this rally that later turned to violence.

This board,  that has  members with radical philosophies , has been given a $1 million dollar budget to do nothing more than try to impede investigations and harass the police.  Now the activist group Showing up For Racial Justice (SURJ) is asking others to donate to the board.

The Community Oversight Board  has a few problem children that can affect the decisions and outcomes that make the board void. The ability to be neutral, and unbiased can not exist as long as there are members like Jamel Campbell Gooch,  and Brenda Ross. Both supporters of BLM, and defunding police.

There seems to be many double standards plaquing the city of Nashville, and you can’t have it both ways. For Mayor Cooper, open up the city. Your hypocritical social distancing went right out the door when you promoted thousands to gather, and you were one of the speakers. You are no longer legitimate.

For Mayor Coopers oversight board, you will never be taken seriously as long as you have members that support the very people destroying our cities, including your own.  You can’t have it both ways …working with the police while working against them is insincere and deceptive.

Laylatul-Qadr… Was This Why Muslim Terror Attack Occurred in Texas?

 

As America is focused on a virus and the effects of its lock down, Muslim terrorists are still among us waiting for the call to kill, which is what occurred yesterday, May 21 at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Adam Salim Alsahli, supposedly a US citizen originally from Syria, open fired as he crashed through a security gate on the base, injuring one. Alsahli was shot and killed, but a second suspect has not been located at this time. 

What could turn out to be significant, is the date this attack occurred. As the month of Ramadan winds down into its last 10 days, it is known that Laylatul Qadar or the “Night of Power” falls on an odd numbered day during those final days. The Night of Power is the most important of the days in Ramadan to Muslims as that is when the Angel Gabriel first revealed the Quran to the prophet Muhammad, which is declared here in Sura 97.

Any good deed performed on this night is more powerful than that of any other time, and also where all sins are forgiven. What follows next in the Quran in Sura 98 though, shows the violence the Quran promotes to those who are non- believers.

Alsahli’s twitter account shows his belief in the Mujaheddin, or the fighters, jihadis against non believers.

 

Many of the video on Alsahli’s Twitter and Instagram accounts also confirm his belief in the fight against non- believers. So now, there are many more questions regarding his connection to Al Qaida, and the Pensacola Florida terrorist, Mohammed Alshamrani  who also was connected to Al Qaida.  In 2017, ISIS declared that Muslims should use the month of Ramadan to attack, as the rewards for jihad and death during this month is multiplied. 

So while many Americans continue to be complacent and many more are smitten by the Muslim community, the message one needs to understand is if a Muslim follows the life of their prophet Muhammad, and obeys the Suras in the Quran, jihad will continue, and escalate. Pandemics and lock downs don’t stop jihad.

Tennessee’s Education Leftist Billionaire Problem.

  Former Tennessee Gov Bill Haslam and his wife launched a program on May 11, 2020 called “Tennessee Tutoring Corps”, which will help children who are falling behind in their studies because of the Covid 19 virus.  The goal is to hire 1,000 college students who will work with students from grade k-6 by paying tutors a $1000 stipend, and they will begin vetting tutors this week with instruction expected to take place from June to August. Great.

 While in office, Bill Haslam was known for his education programs as he established the Tennessee Promise scholarship making community and technical college tuition-free for most residents.  However in 2015 he also was one of a handful of governors leading an organization called Achieve, which was made up of governors and business leaders from across the country with the goal of preparing students  graduating from high school to be academically prepared for post-secondary success. Great.

Haslam’s involvement and generous volunteering commitments to these and other groups are admirable, however do not be lulled into the false sense there are no hitches. Out of his many affiliations, comes partnerships with global elites, who hold an ideology that will ultimately destroy America. Common Core, which Haslam and his close friend Jeb Bush were strong proponents of has essentially been the dumbing down of students in public schools not only in TN, but across the nation. To this day in TN, testing is still a train wreck, and even though now Governor Bill Lee promised to end Common Core, he instead has surrounded himself with liberal, incompetent educational system boobs.

Haslam’s Achieve was and still today is partnered with several philanthropic institutions that are geared towards extreme leftist, global, social justice ideologies. Unfortunately, Haslam’s latest venture, the Tennessee Tutoring Corp whose partner is the Boys and Girls Club, also has many of the same affiliations, including The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

An interesting note is Warren Buffett, another billionaire, and founder of Berkshire Hathaway, which also owns a “significant minority investment” in Haslam’s family business, the Pilot Flying J. was seen with Bill Gates in Knoxville Tennessee in late October of 2018.   Even more noteworthy is in May of 2019, Bill Gates made a 2-day trip to TN, where he visited a school in Chattanooga, then had dinner with Gov Bill Lee, and the following day met with lawmakers and state officials. The Gates Foundation has invested about $34 million in Tennessee statewide, with an emphasis in Memphis.

“Tennessee is one of the five states the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is most invested in terms of education and it’s unlikely that will change“, says Gates. He further stated, “Oh yeah, we are going to stay invested in Tennessee.”

If you think Bill Gates is good because he gives money to “worthy” causes, perhaps you should look at exactly who he donates to. Better grab a drink though, his latest tax return which includes his grants and donations is 1444 pages long.
