Islamic Jihad – the Other Tie that Binds Christians and Jews

It’s the heartless and barbaric history of Muhammad and Islam. It’s also the same present-day contemporary Islam. It’s doctrine and practice that hasn’t changed or abated in 1400+ years.

October 7th? Islamic Jihad. In more than one place the Koran describes Jews as “apes and swines”, a slur that supposedly is meant to refer to the ancient Jews who refused to convert. However, it is still used today by imams, by Jew-hating writers, on Palestinian Authority TV and most recently, in a Fatah broadcasted message two days after the terrorist attack on October 7th – “‘[s]trike the sons of apes of pigs… slaughter everyone who is Israeli’”

Add to this that in the Hadith, the examples and sayings of Muhammad, who Allah says all Muslims must emulate, Islamists learn that “[t]he Hour [end of time when Islam will rule the world] will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say”.O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him”.

The same hadith is still in vogue, included in a circular distributed by the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Religious Affairs two weeks after the October 7th massacre, to be preached in mosques. And to no surprise, the directive to kill Jews is included in Article 7 of the Hamas 1988 founding document, also referred to as the Hamas Covenant.

Five years after the founding of Hamas, Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad met in Philadelphia with members of Hamas and then organized CAIR which in 1997, was designated as a foreign terrorist organization. Awad, who in 2014, publicly switched his support from the PLO terrorist group to supporting Hamas, has also voiced his support for the October 7th massacre of Israelis.

Nihad Awad (center in black jacket) at Murfreesboro mosque with imam Bahloul

“‘A 2023 joint publication by United Nations Watch and the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se) reported that ‘teachers and schools at the UN agency that runs education and social services for Palestinians regularly call for the murder of Jews, and create teaching materials that glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis, and incite anti-Semitism.’”

9/11? Islamic Jihad. No explanation needed.

Islamic murder and persecution of Christians and Jews should come as no surprise; the hatred is embedded in Islamic doctrine taught to children – “O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as guardians—they are guardians of each other. Whoever does so will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”

The seeds of hatred are reinforced in schools and children’s programming.

In 2017, a story in the TN Star ran a story that included a promotional video for Anoor Academy, an Islamic school in Knoxville. At 1:05 of the video there is a row of textbooks titled What Islam Is All About. The TN Star piece includes excerpts from the textbook that denigrate Christians and Jews.

52,000 Christians slaughtered in Benue and other Nigerian states? Islamic Jihad.

In February 2024, Nigerian Christian clergy correctly labeled the “hack[ing] a person to death with a machete” and “…blasting unarmed villagers in the back with an AK-47 as they seek to escape a terrorist raid” – “[i]t is Islamic jihad.”

Islamic persecution of Christians worldwide is dramatically higher.

Does Nigerian Muslim Council Member Zulfat Suara have anything to say about the jihad of her fellow countrymen?

Apparently not. Nigerian born Suara did, however, find time in 2020, to organize a rally in downtown Nashville to protest “political corruption and police brutality” in Nigeria even though Nigeria’s jihadi Boko Haram was slaughtering civilians that same year in a Christmas Eve raid on a Christian village, killing people, burning down a church and abducting a priest.

Suara is now serving her second at-large council term. First elected in 2019, she was heralded as the first Nigerian to be elected to any public office in the U.S. and the first Muslim to be elected to a public office in Tennessee.

Prior to serving on the Council, she led the TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) since 2012. While she resigned her leadership role immediately prior to running for the Council, she remains on the AMAC board.

Under her leadership, the AMAC dove head-first into programming with leading anti-Israel agitators including Linda Sarsour, Ash-Lee Henderson and fellow AMAC member Drost Kokoye, helping to normalize antisemitism by pretending that attacking Zionism is simply about criticizing the Israeli government. It is well understood that challenging Zionism is challenging Israel’s right to exist.

As expected, given AMAC’s anti-Zionist agenda, Suara’s AMAC promoted the early pro-Hamas rallies organized by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) held in Nashville following the October 7th attack on Israeli civilians. (Suara served as one of Bernie Sanders’ state campaign chairs. It should also be noted that at this time Suara had already connected with Bernie’s antisemite surrogate Linda Sarsour and Jew-hating Rashda Tlaib who along with super Jew-hater Ilhan Omar were all supporting Bernie).

One of the earliest DSA organized rallies included signs with swastikas and the “river to the sea” chanting which calls for the elimination of Jews and the Jewish homelandWhile Israelis were still reeling from the October 7th unprovoked jihadi barbarism of mutilating women, cutting a fetus from a mother still alive and then killing the baby in front of her, decapitating and shooting people of all ages including children, all documented with photographs and video from the cameras of captured Hamas and civilian Palestinians who joined the massacre, AMAC was making sure that Jew haters in Nashville were informed about their protest rights.

WARNING – videos 2 & 3 contain extremely upsetting and graphic information

I

In keeping with its self-described victim status upon which AMAC was founded, they quickly advised schools to watch out for bullying or any form of discrimination against Muslim and Arab students.

According to the TN Star, Suara has refused to condemn Hamas and apparently has made no mention of the hostages including baby Kfir.

It doesn’t appear that Suara who is involved in a slew of WOMEN identified groups including the Tennessee Women’s March, a leadership role in the National Women’s Political Caucus and is an inductee to the Women’s Hall of Fame, has spoken out about the sexual violence and extreme brutality against women during the October 7th massacre. The virtually indescribable savagery of the terrorists has been well documented.

http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAr9oGSXgak

Barely a month after the slaughter in Israel, AMAC was promoting a “ceasefire now peace rally” to tell Congress to “stop funding and supporting genocide” and another rally encouraging the wearing of the keffiyah, a symbol of Jew hatred which Palestinian cowards use to cover their faces while they attack Jews overseas and here in the U.S.

More recently, Suara was the prime Metro Council sponsor of a ceasefire resolution promoted by the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), an organization whose focus is to turn Americans against Israel. The USCPR also has troubling ties to Tennessee.

Suara’s ceasefire resolution

Suara’s ceasefire resolution includes a healthy dose of Hamas-inspired propaganda including the reference to and use of the Gaza Health Ministry (GHM) alleged death toll of women and children even though the numbers have come under scrutiny. Even the U.S. House through a bipartisan amendment is trying to block the State Department from using the Gaza Health Ministry data. The amendment passed with 62 Democrats voting yes. No action yet in the U.S. Senate.

Suara’s resolution repeatedly attempts to draw a nation state equivalency between Israel and “Palestine”. While Israel has been a State recognized by the U.S. government since 1948, there has never been a “State of Palestine” nor does one exit in present day. The region referred to as Palestine preceding the declaration of the State of Israel was a British run mandate which was established following World War I.

Just as Suara has refused to condemn Hamas, neither does her resolution, despite the fact that Hamas has vowed to repeat October 7th over and over again until all Jews are dead and Israel destroyed. Instead, Suara validates Hamas by citing it’s U.S. counterpart CAIR’s allegations of Islamophobia. FBI statistics consistently show hate crimes against Jews dwarf anti-Muslim activity.

Suara’s resolution fails to mention that Hamas is a U.S. designated foreign terrorist organization and that video has documented Arab civilians killing alongside the uniform-clad Hamas terrorists.

Anti-Israel bias drips from the resolution characterizing Israel as “retaliat[ing] for these attacks by bombing Gaza” when in fact, Israel has been clear from the start that the goal was to rescue the hostages and eliminate the Hamas terrorist entity – not, to take revenge on the civilians in Gaza even though polls show that sadly, Hamas has wide support from the people.

And if the bias and lack of credibility of Suara’s resolution wasn’t enough to have it tossed, it’s direct tie to the anti-Zionist, Jew-hating U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR) may have caused it to be withdrawn. The USCPR was formerly known as the U.S. Campaign to End the Occupation.

Author and social media influencer Alyssa Rosenheck exposed the fact that Suara’s resolution was “a template taken from the USCPR website, a group funneling tax-exempt donations to Palestinian organizations, including Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other U.S.-designated terrorist groups.

Suggested Viewing & Reading: Watch my previous reel and read Tablet’s article, “BDS Umbrella Group Linked to Palestinian Terrorist Organizations.” StandWithUs.com also has a great fact sheet exposing USCPR.”

The USCPR promotes a significant part of its anti-Israel agenda in the municipal arena including action involving the local governing body. Hamas’ October 7th attack on Israel has been factually perverted by the USCPR into a “stop the genocide ceasefire now” campaign complete with a toolkit to run the false narrative campaign through city council resolutions.

Just like the one that Suara sponsored.

USCPR’s connections to Tennessee

In 2014, former Jerusalem Fund (JF) director Yousef Munayyer left to run the USCPR.

Samar Ali’s father Subhi Ali has served on the JF board since 2000, and has led as the JF chairman since 2005. Samar serves as Suara’s campaign treasurer.

From its founding the JF was opposed to the creation of the State of Israel. As early as 2003, the JF was labeling Israel an apartheid state guilty of ethnic cleansing (of Palestinians) spreading one of the many lies told by political propagandists seeking to delegitimize and target the Jewish homeland.

Munayyer was also very public in his anti-Israel pro-BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) advocacy.

Subhi Ali helped intensify the attacks on Israel with help from Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the BDS movement and with speakers like “Israeli-Arab Knesset member, Haneen Zoabi who compared Israel to Germany in the 1930s, claimed Israel has no right to exist as a Jewish state and suggested that Israeli-Arab members of the Knesset should work to undermine the State of Israel from within.”

The current JF director Ahmad Abuznaid has elevated and expanded the propagandist attack on Israel through his connections with the Movement 4 Black Lives (M4BL) and Black Lives Matter.  Abuznaid, co-founder of a group called “Dream Defenders” has been running trips for BLMers to help them solidify their extreme antisemitism. He also helped draft the M4BL anti-Israel policy platform with Suara’s Tennessee-bred anti-Israel basher Ash-Lee Henderson.

Ash-Lee Henderson & Abuznaid

The M4BL is responsible for a policy platform which asserts that Israel is an apartheid state, is “complicit in the genocide taking place against the Palestinian people”, that homes of Palestinians and land “are routinely bulldozed to make way for illegal Israeli settlements”,  and that “Israeli soldiers also regularly arrest and detain Palestinians as young as 4 years old without due process. Everyday, Palestinians are forced to walk through military checkpoints along the US funded apartheid wall.”

The carry-over from Abuznaid’s learn-to-hate-the-Jew trips, is to spread this hostility into U.S. churches. He has been somewhat successful pushing the Marxist intersectional Black-Palestinian Solidarity agenda with the more left-leaning Methodists and their Federation for Social Action. (BTW, when you open this link you will see TN Rep. Justin Jones’ buddy William Barber all in with this stuff).

Under Suara’s leadership of AMAC Ash-Lee Henderson was a featured speaker to attack Zionism. Henderson  has also teamed up with Abuznaid to help normalize this newest form of antisemitism.

Zulfat’s campaign treasurer Samar Ali, daughter of Jerusalem Fund chairman says she’s worried about Christians in Gaza

Before Suara’s ceasefire resolution was withdrawn, she attempted to defend it on a public Metro Council discussion board. During the discussion, Suara wrote – “An interesting add was from my friend Samar who suggested that the resolution should mention Palestinian Christians whose voices are sometimes forgotten in this conflict.”

If Suara wants to credibly bring up Palestinian Christians then she must acknowledge the work of Rev. Naim Ateek, Sabeel, and Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA).

Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center (Sabeel), founded by Ateek in 1990, is a Palestinian Christian organization based in Jerusalem which opposes Christian Zionism, pushes anti-Israel advocacy in churches and promotes the BDS movement among other anti-Israel campaigns.

Ateek helped formulate “Palestinian liberation theology” and described Hamas as “an Islamic liberation theology movement.” In other words, Palestinian victims must be liberated from the Israeli oppressor under which they are forced to exist. No different than Suara, Sabeel does not waste its time on the persecution of Christians living in Muslim majority countries, Muslim radicalism, or the terrorism, suicide-bombings and rocket attacks perpetrated by Hamas against Jewish civilians.

FOSNA carries Sable’s anti-Israel work into U.S. churches to turn them against Israel. Currently, the extreme Jew-hating FOSNA is spreading disinformation regarding the atrocities of the October 7th. Denying the deep doctrinal roots of Islamic jihad, FOSNA believes that if Hamas were just welcomed into the political process, then Hamas would “moderate” its position and peace would be achieved. In 2013, FOSNA was added to the Anti-Defamation League’s top ten list of anti-Israel organizations in the U.S.

To no surprise, Suara’s promoted anti-Israel event speaker Ash-Lee Henderson has also been a speaker for FOSNA.

Rather than the biased and false narrative resolution sponsored by Suara, the Metro Nashville Council would benefit from education acknowledging that Islamic jihad is the source of death and persecution for both Jews and Christians. Nashville leaders of good conscience should take the next step and publicly acknowledge that this current day doctrine is responsible for October 7th and the continuing massacre of African Christians.

Justin Jones – His Credibility On Everything Should Be Questioned

‘“As someone who went to Divinity School, as someone who served as a Methodist minister, I want to lift up that revolutionary brown skin Palestinian named Jesus who engaged in ‘good trouble,’” Jones said.” https://www.toddstarnes.com/opinion/tenn-lawmaker-compares-himself-to-brown-skin-palestinian-named-jesus/

To know the race-hustling, anti-white and Jew-hating fellow travelers in Jones’ inner circle, puts his appropriation of Jesus in a context more in line with how a failed divinity student takes the divinity out of Christ to serve a personal and twisted political agenda.

For starters, the fact is, Jesus Christ was a Jew.

Next fact – Jesus was not a Palestinian because there was no Palestine during his time. But Jones labeling Jesus as such tells us its about Jones’ politics and his alliances. As Robert Spencer factually and politically explains https://pjmedia.com/culture/robert-spencer/2021/01/01/bbc-says-jesus-was-a-black-palestinian-n1297980:

Jesus was not a “Palestinian,” as there was no Palestine during his time. It wasn’t until one hundred years later, in AD 134, that the Romans expelled the Jews from Judea after the Bar Kokhba revolt and renamed the region Palestine. The Romans had plucked this name from the Bible as a taunt to the Jews they were expelling — it was the name of the Israelites’ ancient enemies, the Philistines, who had disappeared from history centuries before. Never did the term “Palestinian” refer to anything but a region — not to a people or an ethnicity.

To call Jesus a “Palestinian” is, of course, to identify him with the poor, outcast, and oppressed, who are, in the BBC’s mythology, the victims of the Israeli war machine. The idea of Palestinian victimhood is, like the Black Jesus, largely a media creation. To portray Jesus as one of these Palestinian victims is an attempt simultaneously to cast the Palestinians as innocent and sinless, suffering on the cross erected for them by the Israelis, waging an entirely justified campaign of “resistance” that will result in their national resurrection, and to give the world a woke Jesus, who is cool with terrorism because the one being fought is the oppressor, and who is best served not by acts of piety and charity, but by locking arms with Linda Sarsour and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and sticking it to The Man. The White Man, of course.

This fits perfectly for Jones for many reasons including his linking arms and agenda with racist and Jew-hating comrades like Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory, Zulfat Suara and Ash-Lee Henderson.

In fact, it was none other than Linda Sarsour, one of the most vocal pro-BLM Islamist Jew-haters in the country, who organized and helped lead the Nashville rally shortly after Jones was properly expelled from the Tennessee House chamber.

Sarsour began her relationship with Tennessee back in 2016, with a first invitation from the TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC). At that time, Zulfat Suara was AMAC’s chairman; she has recently been re-elected for a second term as an at-large Metro Nashville council member.

At the time Zulfat hosted Sarsour as a speaker, Sarsour was already known for her record of anti-Israel activism including refusing to say that Israel has a right to exist and refusing to condemn notorious antisemite Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan, a man who has praised Hitler and who calls Jews “termites.”

Just five months after bringing Sarsour to Tennessee, Sarsour’s new organization MPower Change, named Zulfat one of The MPower 100 – Muslim Social Justice Leaders Building Power Across the United States. The MPower Change organization received funding from Soros’s Open Society Foundation funneled through fiscal sponsor Neo Philanthropy. MPower Change also received funding through Soros’s Proteus Fund. Both AMAC and the TN Immigrant &  Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC) have also received Soros funding funneled through the Proteus Fund.

Zulfat also has a besties relationship with Justin Jones, who is a supporter of AMAC. Zulfat endorsed Jones in 2022, for the state legislature, because she “has known [him] for a long time”, including perhaps through the “Our Revolution” Nashville chapter.

In 2019, Jones and Zulfat were comrades endorsed by “Our Revolution”. Jones was a failed  candidate for Congress while Zulfat won a Nashville Metro Council seat.

Our Revolution and the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) often collaborate to help fellow comrades win elections.  OR is very active in Tennessee with a Nashville/Mid TN chapter and the Memphis for All chapter.

Our Revolution has previously endorsed Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen and state House representative Gloria Johnson who now says she plans to challenge Marsha Blackburn for the U.S. Senate. Scroll through the OR website’s endorsed candidates to get a better feel for what this organization is really about.

In 2019, OR’s 6 endorsed candidates for the Metro Nashville City Council, which included Zulfat Suara, all won their races. Suara subsequently served as one of Bernie Sanders’ Tennessee 2020 presidential campaign co-chairs. Coincidentally, like Bernie Sanders, the now wealthy “democratic socialist” who owns multiple properties approaching $2 million dollars, Zulfat and her husband also appear to own multiple properties valued at almost $1.5 million dollars which includes a residence valued at over $700,000.

The same year that Zulfat was campaigning for Jones to win a seat in the Tennessee General Assembly, he joined her and Linda Sarsour at AMAC’s 10 year anniversary celebration.

Fast forward to 2023, when Zulfat and Sarsour linked arms in Nashville to support Jones’ racist-charging platform return to the Tennessee General Assembly. Not to be outdone, Zulfat had her photo taken escorting Jones back into the capitol building.

Sarsour’s return to organize a rally for Jones was under the banner of her new Until Freedom group which she co-founded with her equally loathsome running buddy Tamika Mallory.

Until Freedom organization

Until Freedom, a self-described “national protest group”, was founded by Linda Sarsour, Tamika Mallory, Mysonne Linen, and attorney Angelo Pinto.

Tamika Mallory who was Sarsour’s organizing D.C. Women’s March partner, of course tagged along to get her photo op with Jones, as did Mysonne Linen.

Three peas in a pod, Mallory and Mysonne like Sarsour, admire and defend extreme Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan, a man who apparently was also a friend of Barack Obama.

According to Mysonne, who organized alongside Farrakhan, “…the difference between David Duke and Louis Farrakhan: ‘David duke is a racist who imposed his will to harm and negatively affect blacks, farakhan has a view of Jews based on the pain and harm that he can prove they’ve inflicted on blacks for hundreds of years! See the difference?’”

And it appears that the Until Freedom fourth wheel Angelo Pinto is also in the Farrakhan fan club.

Tamika had earlier connections to Tennessee. In 2018, both Tamika and Ash-Lee Henderson co- director of the Highlander Center, got to know each other as they traveled on a Jew-hating mission hosted by the intensely anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-democracy, Center for Constitutional Rights which to no surprise, receives funding from George Soros.

Mysonne was also with Tamika and Ash-Lee on the Israel-bashing trip during which they celebrated spending time with the Afro-Palestinian, grenade planting terrorist Ali Jiddah, a former member of the radical Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

That same year while Zulfat was leading AMAC, Ash-Lee was a speaker at AMAC’s 2018 program titled, “Linking Liberation Struggles: Challenging anti-Black Racism, Zionism and Islamophobia”.

AMAC attacks Zionism

Salaried agitators Ash-Lee’s Highlander Center and Until Freedom were coalition members encouraging women in 2022, to take a day off from work, school and their other daily activities to support the #Day Without Us protest over reproductive rights.

What does it mean when the color of your skin is the single lens through which you define yourself?

In practical terms it makes Justin Jones a Racist with a capital “R” and no different than the other race hustlers he hangs with. But most importantly, the constant beat of racism!!!! is the mortar that holds their political and electoral coalition together.

Indeed, without a consistent backdrop of racism real or not, Jones and his running buddies have nothing with which to claim victim status and imagined moral superiority.

No doubt that Jones could identify with Al Sharpton who interviewed Jones because Sharpton has a “long history of bigotry that includes anti-white racism, antisemitism, and demonization of law enforcement.” Condemning the racist and anti-Semitic views of the Reverend Al Sharpton (a 2000 Congressional resolution).

Jones was active with Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests in Nashville. “The incident, which was captured on video, showed Jones, along with fellow activist Jeneisha Harris, walking atop a police car as dozens of rowdy and seemingly uncontrollable protesters surrounded them”.

During the same protest Jones tossed a traffic cone at a driver because “good trouble for his good reason” must mean that rules don’t apply to him.

The following month in June 2020, as a continuation of BLM’s protest and demands, Jones, with support from fellow activist Jeneisha Harris, launched a “non-violent” protest on the capitol’s legislative plaza.

It is doubtful that Jones included the parting of ways with Jeneisha Harris who sometime during the sixty-two day protest, accused Jones of covering up two sexual assaults by a homeless man committed against two women protesters. https://thepostmillennial.com/woke-tennessee-rep-justin-jones-accused-of-covering-up-sexual-assaults-by-homeless-man#google_vignette

“She [Jeneisha] explained that Jones, “Nashville’s favorite activist,” witnessed the attack, but when the group suggested that it should be reported, he said the women had to stay silent “because it would change the narrative of why they’re actually protesting,” and that, “the incident would overpower the advocacy.”’

Jeneisha went on to call Jones a “fake activist” among other labels.

Jones is now selling his book on Amazon recounting this sixty-two day event.

Anti-white Christian nationalist Rev. William Barber, who seems enamored with Jones, wrote the forward to Jones’ book. Barber says he has had a “yearslong relationship” with Jones who in turn refers to Barber as “a sort of godfather… mentor, spiritual father’ and a ‘model of faith and justice since 2013”. Jones in turn says he has been heavily influenced by Barber who has his own issues with Israel and Jews.

Barber has been noted to “regularly refer[s] to Jesus as ‘a brown-skinned Palestinian Jew’ and who in 2018 falsely accused Israel of ‘targeting’ Palestinian children ‘simply because they want freedom”.

Sociology professors Andrew Whitehead and Samuel Perry explain Christian nationalism in their book “Taking America Back for God,” and they agree with Barber that there’s a white Christian nationalism (the worst), and a Black Christian nationalism which is progressive and wants to uplift the downtrodden and marginalized in our country.

Justin Jones – it should matter that he isn’t credible

Jones has leveled all kinds of baseless attacks on his Republican colleagues in the state House falsely labeling his expulsion for his extreme violation of House rules, as a “racist vote” taken under the Speaker’s “white supremacist system”.

This is precisely the commentary expected from Jones who surrounds himself with others who like himself, hate Republicans, white people, Jews, Christians who don’t agree with or think like them. Jones will also turn on his fellow activists when it doesn’t serve his political agenda.

Attempting to invoke the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jones and his “Tennessee 3” comrades spoke in Memphis with the Lorraine Motel as the backdrop where MLK’s assassination occurred. (The Lorraine Motel is part of the National Civil Rights Museum).

Unlike Jones, MLK is known for making two defining statements reflecting his position on Israel and Jews. In response to a student at Harvard in 1968 who attacked Zionism, MLK responded: “When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking anti-Semitism.”

And unlike MLK, Jones has embraced a circle of comrades who vocally and politically engage in Jew-hatred. These same pushers of antisemitic anti-Zionism, like Jones, are all in with BLM, a core component of the umbrella group Movement 4 Black Lives (M4BL) for black activist organizations. Tennessee’s Ash-Lee Henderson served on the policy leadership team of the M4BL).

Based in black liberation theology, the M4BL policy platforms include one (“Cut Military Expenditures” now linked to the M4BL policy platform on invest-divest), which claims that Israel is an apartheid state, is “complicit in the genocide taking place against the Palestinian people”, that homes of Palestinians and land “are routinely bulldozed to make way for illegal Israeli settlements”, and that “Israeli soldiers also regularly arrest and detain Palestinians as young as 4 years old without due process. Everyday, Palestinians are forced to walk through military checkpoints along the US funded apartheid wall.”

Memphis Rev. Earle J. Fisher, Ph.D., author of Black Liberation Theology and the Movement for Black Lives: A Match Made in Heaven. This Memphis pastor “thinks Pearson and Jones represent an opportunity for Black churches in particular to rekindle their flame related to social justice and liberation.”

It’s the same black liberation theology that drives the antisemitism of Jones’ comrades Sarsour, Mallory, Mysonne and Barber.

And it’s the same black liberation theology that draws Jones to these like-minded and which Jones relies on to compare himself to that “revolutionary brown skin Palestinian named Jesus”.

Raising Money for a Revolution of Hate – Highlander Center – Part 8

It’s incredible how Marxists can raise millions of dollars by spewing hate.

For the Highlander Center, hate is BIG business! Highlander’s latest available financial report boasts a 12% increase in income bringing their 20/21 fiscal year take to almost $5 million dollars and a total revenue of over $31 million dollars.

Amazingly, the IRS is waaaaay too busy to process 990 filings since 20/21 and the anti-capitalist Highlander Center is waaaaay too busy raking in the cash to post an annual report with updated financials since 20/21.

After all, it’s all about the Benjamins – right?

It’s truly ironic that the Highlander iconoclasts of capitalism don’t mind having the fruits of the system deposited in its bank account or adding it to their “investments” including their relatively new “Fund for the Highlander Education and Research Center”, which as of the 20/21 had assets of over $3 million.  Nor do they mind taking proceeds from the accumulated wealth of the Soros Open Society Foundations, the corrupt Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, or the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

Not bad for a group of people that literally produce NOTHING and provide NO SERVICES. The “training” and “jobs” funded by Highlander institutionalize and exist to perpetuate hate – hate for white people, hate for traditional values, hate for the state, hate for the country, and absolute hate for the Constitution and the rule of law. And above all, hate for whitey.

In June, Highlander co-director Ash-Lee Henderson made time in her busy hate-filled schedule to spend it with like-minded Marxist and domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers. In addition, Ayers and Ash-Lee share an active hatred of all things Israel and Jews.

Predictably, “Under the Tree: A Seminar on Freedom with Bill Ayers” podcast includes defunding the police, eliminating prisons and “armed agents of the state” and, an appearance by the “legendary activist Bernardine Dohrn”.

In case anyone may have forgotten, Ayers was a leader in the bomb-building Weather Underground. “Characterizing WU as “an American Red Army,” Ayers summed up the organization’s ideology as follows: ‘[k]ill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, Kill your parents.’ One of Ayers’ fellow WU leaders was Bernardine Dohrn, the woman who would later become his wife.”

You can read more on Discover the Networks about this sick twisted individual’s destructive fantasies:

“In his 2001 memoir Fugitive Days, Ayers recounts his life as a Sixties radical and boasts that he ‘participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972.’ Of the day he bombed the Pentagon, Ayers writes, ‘Everything was absolutely ideal…. The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.’ He further recalls his fascination with the fact that a ‘good bomb’ could render even ‘big buildings and wide streets … fragile and destructible,’ leaving behind a ‘majestic scene’ of utter destruction.”

“All told, Ayers and the Weather Underground were responsible for 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S.  ‘I don’t regret setting bombs,’ said Ayers in 2001, ‘I feel we didn’t do enough.’ Contemplating whether or not he might again use bombs against the U.S. sometime in the future, he stated: ‘I can’t imagine entirely dismissing the possibility.'”

Ayers’ wife Dohrn and Weather Underground accomplice, became a lawyer and an organizer for the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), an organization seemingly at odds with protecting the liberties and freedom secured by the U.S. Constitution. More recently, the NLG student chapter at Stanford law school demonstrated that freedom of speech is reserved only to those with whom they agree.

Both Dohrn and Ayers eventually took positions in higher education; she at a law school, he at a university. They also had a relationship with Obama.

There is no doubt that Ash-Lee Henderson sees herself as carrying forward the desired destruction and anarchy desired by Ayers. Ash-Lee has turned the once former Highlander folk school into one of the most radical-destruction-seeking wealthy institutions in Tennessee. For those like Ash-Lee that idolize the likes of Ayers, “ends justifying the means” may well mean that “good trouble” and physical violence like that used by the BLM riots, is just the beginning.

Funding start-up groups to expand the reach of Highlander’s goals, training college students, serving as the “activist-in-residence” at Texas Prairie View A&M University, and indoctrinating children with the Highlander’s summer “Justice Camps” is how the Highlander’s Marxists-training will be the revolution’s army of today moving forward and perhaps even, the fulfillment of Ayer’s long-ago dream of “transforming” the U.S.

Just like Hitler said, “he alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”

No low is too low for Ash-Lee: bastardizing Martin Luther King’s beliefs are on the table

In 1957, Martin Luther King helped celebrate Highlander’s 25th anniversary by participating in a leadership training conference.

Eleven years later, MLK made two defining statements reflecting his position on Israel and Jews. In response to a student at Harvard in 1968 who attacked Zionism, MLK responded: “When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking anti-Semitism.”

That same year, just ten days before he was assassinated, MLK joined in a conversation with the Jewish conservative organization called the Rabbinical Assembly at their 68th annual convention. In response to the question about Black-Jewish communal relations and antisemitic and anti-Israel activity within Black leadership, MLK said:

On the Middle East crisis, we have had various responses. The response of some of the so-called young militants again does not represent the position of the vast majority of Negroes. There are some who are color-consumed and they see a kind of mystique in being colored, and anything non-colored is condemned. We do not follow that course in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and certainly most of the organizations in the civil rights movement do not follow that course.

I think it is necessary to say that what is basic and what is needed in the Middle East is peace. Peace for Israel is one thing. Peace for the Arab side of that world is another thing. Peace for Israel means security, and we must stand with all of our might to protect its right to exist, its territorial integrity. I see Israel, and never mind saying it, as one of the great outposts of democracy in the world, and a marvelous ex ample of what can be done, how desert land almost can be transformed into an oasis of brotherhood and democracy. Peace for Israel means security and that security must be a reality.

In a 2002 oped, another civil rights icon, Rep. John Lewis, attested to MLK’s “special bond with Israel” and repeated MLK’s understanding that attacking Zionism does not give cover for antisemitism.

Fast forward to 2023, to see the panel “Reimagining King’s Vision”. One issues that unites at least three of the panelists is their anti-Zionist animus justified by a platform of black liberation which they claim includes Palestinians.

Or as MLK would see it, is simply their antisemitism.

  • Ash-Lee’s antisemitism has been detailed in Part 7.
  • CodePink founder Medea Benjamin, who at one time loved living in Castro’s Cuba, is sadly, among other things, a Jewish anti-Israel activist.
  • Tiffany Loftin from the NAACP keeps company with the likes of Ahmad Abuzinaid and Phillip Agnew (now named Umi Selah), both of whom are leaders in the Jew-hating business of BDS (boycott, divestment & sanctions against Israel the goal of which is to eliminate the state of Israel).
  • Rev. Liz Theoharis, a director of the Kairos Center is a compatriot of Rev. William Barber who has no love of what he calls white Christian nationalism and his own issues with Israel and Jews. Barber buddies with community agitator Justin Jones.

Southern Power Fund

Ash-Lee tells her comrades (her term of endearment), “organize the South to save the country.” She describes Highlander’s perspective of the South this way:

“We recognize white supremacy, capitalism, imperialism, and colonization as harmful systems that are designed to oppress and divide our communities for the sake of hoarding and maintaining power for the white, wealthy elite.”

Along with her Highlander co-director Allyn, Ash-Lee and representatives from pillar organizations are raising and spreading millions of Benjamins using the Southern Power Fund.

According to the four anchor organizations – the Highlander Center, Southerners on New Ground (SONG), Project South and Alternate Routes, institutional philanthropy and funder practices “can often prop up white supremacist values and inhibit the very work we need right now”.

Included in “racist and white supremacist policies and actions” is any application of U.S. law that would obstruct the advance of illegal immigration and awarding immigration benefits to illegal aliens.

Highlander has a long-standing relationship with the TN Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC). Both groups benefit from illegal immigration by increasing their constituencies. Never forget, however, that the mainstream/RINO/establishment Republicans also want the benefit of cheap foreign labor.  Simply look at the policies Tennessee’s weak-kneed and mushy-middle Republicans endorse regarding illegal immigration. Feeding the pipeline of comrades for Highlander’s revolution of hate?

BIG business for all!

Jew-Hating Demonstrators Alive & Well in Tennessee

Liora Rez, Executive director of StopAntisemitism.org puts it simply – “wherever anti-Zionism goes, anti-Semitism quickly follows.”

Nakba Day marches are now occurring across the country. ’Nakba’ is translated as “the catastrophe” and is what Palestinians label the reestablishment of the State of Israel. For anti-Israel agitators nakba day marks the supposed Zionist conspiracy to ethnically cleanse Palestine when the State of Israel was established. Not so; “[i]n reality, Nakba Day is a gross misrepresentation of history. The [Palestinian] refugees were created by the Arab Muslim desire to wage Jihad against the Jews.”

One anti-Israel protest march joined by the Nashville Peace & Justice Center (NPJC) was held in downtown Nashville on Wednesday, May 12; another organized by the Democratic Socialist of America was held in Knoxville on Saturday the 15th, and another is scheduled in Nashville for Saturday, May 21st. This one is being organized under the Samidoun umbrella by students from MTSU; NPJC is promoting it as well. These protests are not the first to take place in Tennessee, they are simply getting larger.

In 2014, Marxist Ash-Lee Henderson’s intersectionally-based anti-Jew protest was held in Chattanooga when she was an organizer with Concerned Citizens for Justice, a self-identified black liberation organization. “’We recognize that there is total intersection between what is happening to the Palestinian community overseas and what has happened with apartheid and Jim Crow to people who identify as African-American,’” said Ash-Lee Henderson, an organizer with Concerned Citizens for Justice.”

At the same time, Drost Kokoye, a co-founder and board member of Tennessee’s AMAC (American Muslim Advisory Council), in collaboration with the NPJC, led an anti-Israel counter-protest across the barricade from a pro-Israel rally.

Daoud Abudiab, another co-founder of AMAC and its first chairman, is a fellow traveler of Israel haters. Trying hard to portray himself as an interfaither with the singular agenda of creating a positive impression of Muslims through his “Our Muslim Neighbor,” (a project of Religions for Peace USA, an organization itself tied to Muslim Brotherhood organizations), Abudiab launched his Faith and Culture Center in 2014. Then his Center joined Nashville’s leftist collective to strategize with the emerging local BLM chapter. That was the same year that BLM leaders traveled to “occupied Palestine” and publicly announced their support for the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel.

Coming out of the closet in his own way, Abudiab joined the Muslim Brotherhood organizations at the inaugural USCMO conference the same year the USCMO issued its “Washington Declaration”, an initiative intended to unite a globalized Islamist political force. The USCMO was founded by every major U.S.-based Jew-hating organization including CAIR, AMP (BDS leader American Muslims for Palestine), MAS – the Muslim American Society whose founder admitted that his organization was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Following his attendance at the USCMO conference, Abudiab amplified his anti-Israelism by choosing to support FOSNA’s (Friends of Sabeel North America) agenda. FOSNA attacks Christian Zionism, promotes the BDS campaign against Israel, and has teamed up with Black 4 Palestine to bring black churches and clergy into their Israel and Jew hate efforts.

FOSNA remains on the Anti-Defamation League’s top ten list of anti-Israel organizations in the U.S.

In 2015, Daoud Abudiab chose to speak at FOSNA’s 2015 conference which in the course of pretending to be focused on a “struggle for a just peace” offered a panel discussion on BDS, a key component of which is right of return for alleged Palestinian refugees.

Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the BDS campaign made it clear in 2010, and again, more recently, that the goal of BDS and return of alleged Palestinian refugees, is to eliminate Israel. He expressly rejects a two-state solution and says that a Palestinian right of return is the way to end Israel as a Jewish state.

Not long after joining up with FOSNA, Abudiab shared his Israel animus on facebook. He posted an article titled Court Says Israel Owns Jaffa House Because Arab Family Members Left in 1948, along with his comment – “injustice ignored is never forgotten. What goes around comes around one day!”

That day arrived this week based in part on the excuse of Israel’s Supreme Court preparing to hear an appeal in a dispute over four houses in the Sheik Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem. Much like the housing dispute case posted by Abudiab, the Sheik Jarrah cases are “not about forcing [Palestinian-Arab] families from their home. [Sheik Jarrah] involves a years-long process of owners suing tenants whose leases have expired, or in a few cases, suing squatters with no tenancy rights at all; the owners are simply asking for their rent to be paid.”

Neither the timing of the “religion of peace” Ramadan period nor the truth about the housing dispute stopped Hamas and Arabs unprovoked violence against Jews. Hamas fired over a thousand missiles and rockets into Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Beersheba, Ashkelon, communities bordering on Gaza, killing Israeli citizens, wounding many others, destroying properties, setting the Trans-Israel pipeline on fire and terrorizing countless Israelis. On Monday, Hamas managed to kill 17 Palestinians with their own rockets falling short and landing in Gaza.

Along with the unprovoked missile attacks there was an escalation in Arab pogroms in Jerusalem, Lod, Jaffa, Bat Yam, Haifa, and Tiberias, destroying Jewish properties and setting fire to multiple synagogues, attacking worshipers at the Western Wall with rocks, and attempting to lynch Jewish motorists.

Back in Nashville, The Tennessean paper published a factless and arrogant op-ed about the violence in Israel and the “destruction of sacred places” written by Imam Ossama Bahloul resident scholar at the Islamic Center of Nashville. For example, Bahloul suggests that “Jewish settlers” have caused violence at the Al Aqsa mosque while deliberately ignoring the attack on Jerusalem Day celebrants with “slabs, stones and fireworks” which had been stockpiled by Palestinians at the Al Aqsa mosque for this purpose:

“Critics of Israel, and the international media, have portrayed the recent clashes on the Temple Mount, which Muslims call Haram esh-Sharif, as if Israel had attacked the mosques or violated their sanctity. In fact, Israeli riot police entered the holy site to stop Palestinians from launching new attacks from the compound after they did so after prayers on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan last week.”

2009 Murfreesboro – Bahloul protesting “war in Gaza’ in support of Hamas

Will biased media, revisionist history narratives and irrational hatred of Jews and Israel make certain places in Tennessee less safe for Jewish people? Jewish people are being openly attacked by pro-Palestinian thugs shouting Allah Akbar and BLM rioters have targeted Jewish neighborhoods. In Tennessee, AMAC’s program attacking Zionism didn’t hesitate to feature Highlander Center director Ash-Lee Henderson who is all in with BLM anti-Semitism.

How far do they plan to take it in Tennessee?

Why Would TN House Republicans Vote to Denigrate Patriotic Conservative Christians?

It’s no surprise that House Democrats would vote to denigrate Tennessee conservative Christians who  love their country. But what does it say about the House Republicans who voted in agreement?

Rep. G.A. Hardaway, a Memphis Democrat, was the Chief sponsor of HR110, a resolution to recognize Rev.Dr. William J. Barber II.

Rev.William J. Barber II

Hardway, described the honorific as embodying Barber’s five “interlocking injustices of systemic racism, systemic poverty, the war economy and militarism, ecological devastation, and the false moral narrative of Christian nationalism.”

Not included in the resolution was Barber’s 2013 participation at the Tennessee Highlander Center meeting about how to resist what the assembled group described as the extreme agenda” being pushed by Republicans.

The resolution failed; only 28 voted yes, 35 voted no, and 20 were either too confused, uninformed, or squeamish, and simply abstained.

Predictably, all 23 Democrats present voted for the resolution; they were joined by 5 Republicans – Reps. Jeremy Faison, William Lamberth, Tandy Darby, Bob Ramsey and Kevin Vaughn.

Faison and Lamberth are part of the House leadership.

Before the vote, when Rep. Mark Cochran (R-Englewood) questioned what was meant specifically by the term “false moral narrative of Christian nationalism” sponsor Hardaway responded that “there is a Christian nationalism Dr. Barber observes some of those narratives as not being in line with his way of thinking” and why he developed his moral budget ad his moral agenda.

Barber’s Christian nationalism explained by the academic experts

Barber has been understood to use the terms “Christian nationalism,” “religious nationalism” and “white religious nationalism” interchangeably.

Based on the professors’ national survey questions and responses, “Christian nationalism” is a cultural framework used to refer to white Christians, particularly evangelicals, who say that the U.S. was founded on Christianity and therefore must remain a Christian nation. The authors describe “Christian nationalism” as a form of Christianity “that isnt just about religion, but is a racialized view of America which‘includes assumptions of nativism, white supremacy, patriarchy and heteronormativity, along with divine sanction for authoritarian control and militarism’” which dominate the political views of the subset surveyed.

But, as they explain, Black Christians get a pass because blacks havent been in power and as such, their version of Christian nationalism is more progressive and about a nation that has never lived up to its professing Christian identity.

The two sociologists claim that their national survey results show that people high on the Christian nationalism rating scale tend to be much more opposed to gun control, are much more xenophobic or racist and define being an American as being white and Christian. Worse still, the white version of Christian nationalism is “connected [to] and it connects all these negative ideologies.”

As used by Barber, Christian nationalism is white and its supremacist. Some of Barber’s examples of the “false moral narrative of Christian nationalism” is exemplified by Franklin Graham and Jerry Falwell who don’t “promote the faith from the biblical foundations of love, truth and justice.” Instead, they are part of the “unholy connection” where “[r]eligion is being used as the cover for greed. The term ‘‘evangelical’’ has been hijacked in favor of corporate interests.”

According to the methodology used by Whitehead and Perry to determine what Christian nationalism means, looks like and implies for the U.S., a phrase like “in God we trust” could be considered a Christian nationalism dog whistle.

What’s obvious is that Barber’s five “interlocking injustices” that form the basis of his moral budget and moral agenda align perfectly with the Movement 4 Black Lives (M4BL) policy platform and the agenda of BLM.

Barber also rallies against Israel and “Trumpvangelicals”

Barber’s speech at the 2018 anti-Israel U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR) national conference affirmed his view that Israel is an apartheid state and that “historically, it is important for us to remember that one path regarding the Zionism project in Palestine was a colonialist project from the beginning…[i]t was  never just purely about righting the terrible wrongs of the Holocaust. But for [Britain’s great colonialist] it was about expanding a global empire.”

Not surprisingly, Barber’s comments align with the whole Christian nationalism narrative which is primarily directed at evangelical Christians who tend to be committed advocates for Israel. It also aligns perfectly with both the M4BL and BLM anti-Israel positions and their promotion of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) campaign.

By no coincidence, the USCPR has endorsed M4BL’s policy platforms.

William J. Barber II reveals what he really means when he uses the slur of Christian nationalism came at the close of his speech:

“In this moment when Trumpvangelicals have linked up with Zionist extremists and the corporate facism of white nationalists around the world, it may seem like [the USCPR’s] goal of Palestinian rights is at a low point….The same corporate interests that used white nationalism to put Trump in the White House, and leaned into Zionist extremism to move the U.S. Embassy to Tel Aviv, also want to cut taxes for corporations, deregulate, ignore climate science, take away healthcare, deny living wages, cut the social safety net and give more and more money to the U,S. military. But here’s the good news: There are far more of us than there are of them. And, God have mercy, even some of them have joined us when we’ve come together in truth and love and mercy.”

If you voted for Trump, Barber was talking about you.
If you’re a white Evangelical Christian, Barber was talking about you.
If you believe our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and the need to stay true to those principles, Barber was talking about you.
And God forbid, if you support Israel, the sole democratic state in the Middle East, Barber was talking about you and it’s a double whammy if you also happen to be a Christian.

And what about the Barber5 Republicans who voted to honor Barber?

Rep. Bob Ramsey and Kevin Vaughn are illegal alien protectionists.

Rep. Jeremy Faison (chair, House Republican Caucus) – his vote to honor Barber is just one more reason that the House Republican Caucus needs a new chairman.

Rep. Tandy Darby – he’s new and his vote raises questions about him that will require monitoring.

Rep. William Lamberth – at best, his vote is confusing; contact him and ask him to explain – rep.william.lamberth@capitol.tn.gov

The sociologists who defined Christian nationalism say that white Americans who adhere to this ideology, see it almost as an ethnic identity with others who share their cultural values and who “look like them.”

Rep. Yusuf Hakeem (D-Chattanooga) who wants critical race theory (CRT) taught in Tennessee schools, admitted as much during the House Education discussion about HB580, the CRT bill:

“There are those and I’m among them who feel systemic racism is real. As an example of how our system has allowed one group of people see as superior and one inferior. I’m a member of the Christian church like many of you but I remember growing up and when I looked at God he didn’t look like me and I think that some people interpreted that as they were better because they looked like God and some people who looked like me did not. I think this should be cleared up by history, by standards, by what we teach.”

The Barber5 Republicans had already voted to ban the teaching of CRT in Tennessee public schools. How then did the Barber5 completely fail to understand that Barber’s Christian nationalism point of view is nothing more than camouflage for using the lens of CRT in all aspects of life?

Nashville Jewish Community Hosts Speaker Who Says Mainstream Republicans are White Supremacists

On Thursday, February 11th, at a not-so-thinly-veiled-anti-Trump event, the Nashville Jewish Social Justice Roundtable and Jewish Federation held a virtual event titled “Fighting White Supremacy: From Charlottesville to Capitol Hill.

The panel of speakers, hosted by Nashville Jewish community suggested you are a white supremacist if you oppose illegal immigration, BLM and Antifa violence, support the idea that all lives matter, and/or support former Pres. Donald Trump.

Spitalnick’s allegedly “non-partisan” group IFA, is backing a lawsuit that uses conspiracy theory law to sue individuals described as white supremacists, neo-Nazi anti-Semites and members of hate groups” involved in the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” 2017 rally. The lawsuit intends to shut down and deter hate group activity by “dismantling and bankrupting these groups and their leaders.”

Assuming the lawsuit results in monetary judgments, Spitalnick says they will destroy these people financially and “for the rest of our defendants lives we will be following them around to collect [the judgements]” by putting liens on their homes, garnishing their wages and seizing any other assets they own, as a way of deterring future white supremacy driven violence.

Throughout her presentation, Spitalnick, a former advisor and spokesperson for NYC Mayor bill deBlasio, draws parallels between Charlottesville’s lawsuit defendants and the “insurrectionists” at the Capitol riot on January 6th. She explains that white supremacy, anti-Semitism and racism, emanate from what she calls White Replacement Ideology – the fear by the white supremacist that their dominance will be replaced by minority groups in the U.S. is  being threatened. Spitalnick considers white supremacy to be a problem of crisis proportions, endemic to the mainstream right which uses “far right social media site Gab,” to communicate.

Spitalnick lists “horrific attacks” including the shootings at Poway synagogue in San Diego, the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh and the mosque shooting in New Zealand, as examples of the violence she attributes to “white race replacement ideology” beginning at minute 37:00:

“our fates are so intrinsically intertwined here in that you can’t take on white supremacy without taking on islamophobia. You cant take on white supremacy without taking on anti-semitism. You can’t take on racism without taking on any of these other forms of hate.  And I mentioned earlier [white] replacement theory which is the ideology that motivates so much of this extremism that we’ve seen.  This is something that percolates to the surface when you see horrific attacks like the ones I mentioned.  It sort of manifests in this very explicit form where you hear them chanting things like Jews will not replace us. This is the idea that jews are the puppet masters orchestrating the replacement of the white race, supporting Muslim Americans, supporting Black Americans and the Latinx community and the LGBTQ community and immigrants and refugees and anyone who doesn’t fit into the vile narrow vision for what these white supremacists want this country to be. So you see it in these very explicit and egregious terms when it happens in the form of those attacks but this is also an ideology that we see manifesting increasingly in the mainstream of the right in a variety of ways and so when you hear dog whistles like George Soros supporting the Black Lives Matter protests or supporting a caravan coming up through Central America or any of the other dog whistles that we hear from increasingly mainstream republicans and other leaders that is the same white supremacist ideology that ultimately culminates in the sorts of egregious violent attacks we’re talking about here.”

Spitalnick says this is a CRISIS! But it’s one that she claims the lawsuit can address, stopping hate and violence, without doing harm to Constitutionally protected speech. In reality, the First Amendment damage and censorship will be accomplished using strategies discussed in another virtual meeting discussed below which include financial bludgeoning, leaning on social media sites to continue de-platforming efforts and going after web hosting and domain registration companies to shut down sites groups on the left dont like.

In other words, organized censorship.

IFA is reported to have raised over $10 million dollars to support the lawsuit which Spitalnick has said is “critical, especially because the government during the Trump administration has rolled back efforts to track and prevent white supremacist violence.” She states, The infrastructure thats meant to address this sort of thing has actively been dismantled.”

The week before Spitalnick’s event in Nashville

One week prior to the Nashville event, Spitalnick participated with representatives from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Center in a virtual event titled, “White Supremacy and far-right extremism: is the Capitol siege the end of the beginning?”

These organizations actively work to censor dissenting voices. They are expanding this mission by using a broadbrushed label of white supremacist to effectively erase any and all opposition to their agenda.

When asked why certain groups like the Proud Boys and QAnon adherents were drawn to the January 6th Capitol event, the ADL’s director of its Center on Extremism said these groups see themselves as fighting against liberal forces “that seek their demise and threaten their existence” and that they “perceive Donald Trump as the embodiment of their savior, basically the warrior who’s going to help protect their future and their values.”

As to Christian groups? They peddle fear of the “End Times” and the end of western white Christian society.

Eric Ward from the SPLC claimed that their driving narrative was the stolen election.  He believes that the protesting groups wanted our system of democracy overthrown and an authoritarian ruler (his reference to Trump), installed in its place.

Spitalnick reiterates her script about white supremacy and violent extremism and that there “is a direct line that runs from Charlottesville through these other attacks to January 6th.” While she did not deny the hate, racism and anti-Semitism on the left, she was adamant that there is “no equivalency” between the far-right and the far-left extremists.

She believes that the CRISIS and greatest threat to our country is the far-right extremism.  The people who caused what she and leftists have labeled an “insurrection” came from the right and is in the mainstream right. Her “evidence” is a far left news report that members of the GOP caucus gave a standing ovation to Majorie Taylor Greene. In typical leftist fashion, Spitalnick deliberately omits, that as reported, the standing ovation by some members of the caucus came after Greene apologized for embracing the QAnon conspiracy theory and some of her other controversial remarks.

This group took more time to focus on the “weaponization of technology” that is, the role of social media enabling hate groups to indoctrinate and recruit adherents and spread their hate speech. Spitalnick has signaled repeatedly that social media is necessarily implicated in the IFA lawsuit and greater repression of speech on these platforms will be sought under the guise of accountability for enabling the spread of disinformation and enabling the spread of extremist violence.

Along with leaning on social media sites to de-platform groups and individuals they consider sources of hate, they discussed going after web hosting and domain registration companies to shut down the sites that those on the left don’t like.

Typical deception by leftists on the Nashville panel and more

While peddling the CRISIS theme and talk of right wing extremist hate and violence, the Nashville panelists blatantly ignore the hate, violence and wanton destruction on the left. Given that they were sponsored by virtually every Jewish group and congregation in Nashville, they hypocritically ignored the virulent anti-Semitism on the left from BLM, AMAC and the co-director of the Highlander Center who is also a leader in the Movement 4 Black Lives.

Sabina Mohyuddin, AMAC’s executive director and founding member, is a stunning example of leftist duplicity.  She claims that Muslims in America have been the real victims of 9-11 who have had to “endure” the hatred of white supremacy-driven Islamophobia (which  she labels anti-Muslim racism) for years.

Using the socialist “intersectionality theory of connecting groups in a common struggle, Mohyuddin says she can’t complain about Islamophobia unless she also speaks out “forcefully” against anti-Semitism and anti-black racism.  Struggle is a word she would know well as it is the definition of jihad in Arabic.

Mohyuddin’s organization, AMAC, had already signed onto “intersectionality” but made sure to conceal its anti-Semitism under the cover of anti-Zionism. In 2016, AMAC hosted an event with Linda Sarsour was the featured speaker.  Sarsour is among the country’s most vocal anti-Semites who refuses to say that Israel has a right to exist. She is also a leading proponent of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment & Sanction (BDS) movement, otherwise known as the new anti-Semitism because it is a driver of hatred and violence against Jews.

In 2018, AMAC sponsored a program titled “Linking Liberation Struggles” featuring their own vocal anti-Semite founder and board member, Drost Kokoye, and active BDS promoter, Highlander Center co-director, Ash-Lee Henderson. And for years, AMAC board members and leaders have had a close relationship with super Jew-hater Ilhan Omar.

After slandering members of the Nashville community who write and speak about Political Islam, (basically the way political scientists objectively analyze how factors such as certain institutions and practices affect public life), Mohyuddin says she is anxious to go after “the players” she identified.

Amy Spitalnick began her tour of Nashville’s Trump-hating leftists with Samar Ali’s Millions of Conversations which ironically includes a pledge to listen to others with differing opinions. Spitalnick’s “Hate and Extremism” event with Samar Ali was billed as a way to move to a more “united America.” This is the same Samar Ali who helped get a Metro council candidate elected despite her public embrace of anti-Semites.

Her IFA-backed lawsuit is scheduled for a three week trial in beginning in October 2021.

The take-way . . .

So according to IFA and its supporters, you’re a white supremacist Islamophobe if you oppose illegal immigration or BLM rioters who attack street-side diners, or believe that all lives matter or that it’s a problem when Antifa mobsters burn down cities and physically attack police and bystanders. And you’re definitely a white supremacist, no matter what your color, if you voted for Trump.

Sponsors of the this event are listed in the even flyer. The director of the Nashville Jewish Federation, Eric Stillman can be reached at eric@jewishnashville.org

TN Highlander Center Director All in With BLM Anti-Semitism – part 7

The United States Commission on Civil Rights has stated, that “anti-Semitic bigotry is no less morally deplorable when camouflaged as anti-Israelism or anti-Zionism.”

Tennessee Highlander Center director Ash-Lee Henderson and Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder, Patrisse Cullors are both vocal promoters of the Israel-hating campaign known as BDS (boycott, divestment & sanctions).

The anti-Israel BDS campaign attacks Zionism, the movement that helped to establish the State of Israel.  Martin Luther King Jr., often cited by progressives as a symbol for social justice, understood that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. As he said, “When people criticize Zionist, they mean Jews. You are talking anti-Semitism.”

BDSers want to eliminate the democratic state of the Jewish people.   For this reason, rallying BDS’ers use chants like “from the river to the sea Palestine will be free” which means there would be no Israel or Jews between the Jordan River and Mediterranean. The Jew-hating BDS campaign against Israel is, without question, the new anti-Semitism.

Cullors’ anti-Jew wokeness was ignited after joining a 2014 junket to the West Bank led by Ahmad Abuznaid, a Palestinian-American who has convinced black Americans who hate both the police and the U.S., that their grievances align with Palestinians who hate Israel and its Jews.

Ash-Lee started her anti-Jew campaign in 2014, in Chattanooga when she was an organizer with Concerned Citizens for Justice, a self-identified black liberation organization whose goal was to end white supremacy in Chattanooga.

In December 2016, shortly before being named co-director of the Highlander Center Ash-Lee Henderson took a solidarity trip to what she described as “occupied” Palestine. “Going through checkpoints, seeing rubber bullets, reminds us what our comrades and some of us experienced in Ferguson, [and] IDF soldiers totally remind me of the cops that brutalized [me].”

According to Ash-Lee one of the trip’s highlights was spending time with the Afro-Palestinian, admitted terrorist Ali Jiddah, a former member of the radical Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The man she lauded as the “elder of the African village in Jerusalem’s Old City” was imprisoned in Israel for 17 years after planting four hand grenades which injured multiple people. He was released from prison as part of a prisoner swap and in a later interview, admitted to his crime.

Typical of radical leftists’ fake wokeness, Cullors and Ash-Lee ignore the fact that Palestinians still use the Arabic slur “abeed” (slave) to refer to Afro-Palestinians like Jiddah.

The same year Ash-Lee became anti-Jew woke, she received a formal promotion to the policy table leadership team of the Movement 4 Black Lives (M4BL), the revolutionary umbrella group for black activist organizations including BLM. M4BL advances its own form of racism and its hate of America and white people through policy platforms including one titled “Invest-Divest,” the first version of which labelled Israel an apartheid state.

After unexpected push-back, M4BL tried to conceal its lies about Israel by moving all anti-Israel language to a white paper titled “Cut Military Expenditures” now linked to the M4BL policy platform on invest-divest which claims that Israel is an apartheid state, is “complicit in the genocide taking place against the Palestinian people”, that homes of Palestinians and land “are routinely bulldozed to make way for illegal Israeli settlements”,  and that “Israeli soldiers also regularly arrest and detain Palestinians as young as 4 years old without due process. Everyday, Palestinians are forced to walk through military checkpoints along the US funded apartheid wall.”

Of course there is no mention that Israel’s security wall has decreased deaths from suicide bombers.

Ash-Lee has joined with other anti-Jew groups like Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA) which opposes Christian Zionism and pushes the BDS campaign in U.S. churches. She has also joined forces with Ahmad Abuznaid to keep pushing their anti-Israel vitriol.

Ash-Lee has also adopted BDSer’s favorite death-to-Israel slogan – “from the river to the sea…” and wearing the black and white keffiyah popularized by the “father of modern terrorism”, Yasser Arafat.

Founding board member of Tennessee’s American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) Drost Kokoye, was among the first Islamists to openly support the BDS campaign. It wasn’t long before AMAC featured Linda Sarsour, among the most vocal anti-Semites in the U.S., at an AMAC event. This was followed by then AMAC chair Zulfat Suara, publicly embracing Jew-haters Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

Sarsour says she has been “deeply involved” in the BLM movement and was heavily praised by BLM co-founder Alicia Garza in a recent virtual interview. Recall, that Ash-Lee and Garza have a particularly close relationship.

Ash-Lee and Linda Sarsour serve together on the advisory board of the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity an organization pushing to move more foundation funding to groups led by “people of color.”

In 2019, BLM’s Cullors was named the Executive Director and Board President of the BLM Global Network Foundation. Cullors now sits on the multi-million dollar BLM war chest and is the media go-to person to speak for BLM. Cullors has doubled down on BLM’s embrace of the BDS campaign – “[w]e realized we [BLM activists] needed to take our solidarity [with the BDS campaign] a step further. We had to be more public.”

Three Jew-haters with access to bottomless BIG money – what could go wrong?

Highlander Expands Reach of Radical Agenda Using Fiscal Sponsorship – Part 6

Following the example set by Black Lives Matter (BLM) funders, the Highlander Center is also using the less-than-transparent fiscal sponsorship model to expand the reach of its Marxist agenda more rapidly.

Fiscal sponsorship is a fast way for a new “non-profit” entity to solicit and accept tax-deductible donations using the 501(c)(3) umbrella of its fiscal sponsor who is responsible for reporting to the IRS. This arrangement has been criticized as potentially enabling tax-deductible donations to flow quickly to an entity ultimately deemed not qualified to receive this money.

For example, in 2016, the Thousand Currents Foundation agreed to act as the fiscal sponsor for the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLM GNF), the money chest for the BLM movement. Since the BLM GNF was not a 501(c)(3), the fiscal sponsorship shielded it from “having to file regular Form 990 reports with the IRS, [or] disclos[ing] comprehensive financial data in the same way a tax-exempt nonprofit must.”

Instead, the BLM GNF operated as a “project” of the Thousand Currents Foundation. Under this arrangement, millions of dollars flowed into the BLM GNF.

BLM co-founders Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi served as advisors to the BLM GNF which has been noted for its lack of transparency. Between 2017 and 2019, the BLM GNF spent about $4.6 million dollars on travel, consultants and personnel versus a measly $328,000 granted to outside organizations including some BLM chapters.

As of 2018, Garza and Tometi have moved on to other projects.

Garza founded the Black Futures Lab (BFL) whose fiscal sponsor is the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) which the Heritage Foundation says is a promoter of the Community Chinese Party.

The Black Futures Lab supports the BLM GNF and the Movement 4 Black Lives. Recall, that Highlander co-director Ash Lee Henderson is on the policy team of M4BL and that Garza, considers Ash-Lee Henderson “fam.”

There is plenty of cross-pollination in funding sources for these “social justice” organizations with money funneled through a spider web of foundations. Highlander’s donors listed by Influence Watch include several Soros-funded front groups including Tides and the Proteus Fund. Other organizations in Tennessee including TIRRC and the American Muslim Advisory Council have received money from the Proteus Fund.

Highlander’s last available 990 from 2018, shows an annual revenue of over $4 million dollars and the other Highlander Fund showed an end of year balance of almost $3 million. Flush with money, Highlander’s co-directors are ready to hire an executive assistant. They are also advertising for a full-time digital strategist and a person to expand Highlander’s Economics & Governance program.

The Center’s 2016 annual report showed continued financial support from TN-ACLU director Hedy Weinberg and her Vanderbilt sociology professor husband Dan Cornfield, the Southern Poverty Law Center and the TN Arts Commission.

Highlander Center gets into fiscal sponsorship game

To date, Highlander is acting as the fiscal sponsor for seven organizations which include, BOLD (Black Organizing for Leadership and Dignity), National Bail Out, People’s Advocacy Institute, Power U Center for Social Change, SiOP (Standing in Our Power), Southern Connected Communities Project, and The STAY Project.

All of these organizations are doing their part for “transformative justice” and community organizing. Highlander describes its fiscal sponsorships as “Incubating & Innovating Radical Work – Highlander incubates and innovates radical work by offering fiscal sponsorships and high capacity support to projects and networks.” (see December entry).

Power U’s “principles of unity” mimic much of Ash-Lee’s M4BL’s policy platforms – “the systems of White Supremacy, Capitalism, and Heteropatriarchy are the roots of oppression in our society.”

Among Highlander’s fiscally sponsored organizations, Power U and The Stay Project target young people, complimenting Highlander’s own youth programs – Children’s Justice Camp (ages 6 -12, to “work toward a society that celebrates diversity and equity through the brilliant minds of our youth”), Seeds of Fire (ages 13 -17, to train youth into social justice warriors “to build collective power and influence critical shifts in policy decisions and practice”), and training programs for college students.

In 1935 Hitler reminded us that “he alone, who owns the youth, gains the future.”

The concept was simple – children of the Hitler Youth movement would be immersed in the ideology of Naziism using education and Nazi propaganda to ensure that Naziism would control Germany’s future.

It appears that the Highlander Center agrees with Hitler about molding young minds. It is using fiscal sponsorships to expand its reach and help raise a new generation of Marxists.

There are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the Highlander Center’s use of its

financial growth combined with its national reach and connectedness to its Marxist leadership.

For example, in 2018, the TN Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC) had Highlander use its “local and national relationships” to bring an intense and negative focus to ICE arrests of illegal aliens working at a meatpacking plant in Bean Station, Tennessee.

Ash-Lee Henderson is the driving force for the Highlander Center, committed to using her national connections and growing resources to create the “new America.” She explains it this way – if the “Breathe Act” which she worked on with Congress squad members Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib, which “uses federal dollars to reward cities and counties that defund their police departments” doesn’t get signed into law then, she “promise[s] that you will continue to see the kind of fervor and rigor of peaceful and passionate and righteously rageful protests in the streets until Black people get what they want.

BLM leader Patrisse Cullors, a self-described Marxist, puts it more simply – if their demands aren’t met, then “burn everything down.”

And they have proven that they mean it.

Gov. Lee Wants Closer Ties to Communist China Despite Warnings

Even if Bill Lee chooses to ignore the Secretary of State and the U.S. Director of Intelligence, it doesn’t mean that our state legislators have to. Make sure to share this information with your state House and Senate members.

In February, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo spoke at the February 2020 National Governors Association meeting and shared two pieces of cautionary information:

  • a Chinese government-backed think tank report has rated U.S. governors on their attitudes toward China and that “[m]any of you, indeed, in that report, are referenced by name.”
  • that groups with seemingly benign names and objectives like the The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship in Foreign Countries, is actually “the public face of the Chinese Communist party’s official foreign influence agency, the United Front Work Department.”

This week, America’s Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, said that along with election interference and influence, China “poses a greater national security threat to the U.S. than any other nation – economically, militarily and technologically.”

Consistent with Pompeo’s warning to governors, Ratcliffe emphasized that “[m]any of China‘s major public initiatives and prominent companies offer only a layer of camouflage to the activities of the Chinese Communist Party.”

The 2013 Smithfield Foods sale to China proves their point about the very thin line between the communist Chinese government and so-called “private” Chinese companies. Shuanghui, the “private” Chinese enterprise which acquired Smithfield, had a much closer relationship to China’s communist government than Smithfield’s CEO claimed to know. A U.S. reporter investigating the sale wrote:

Despite its public listing in Hong Kong, Shuanghui answers to the Chinese government – going beyond regulatory compliance. It receives directives from Beijing, and it follows them… Here was conclusive proof. Robert Wan, son of Chairman Wan Long, confirmed this relationship to me…..The Chinese government acts like a de facto board of directors for the country’s domestic industries – even for publicly traded companies like Shuanghui. The Communist Party issues the five-year plan, and Shuanghui is expected to follow that direction.

In September, in response to media about the Tennessee session at the North American Chinese Investment Summit held in Beijing, Governor Lee indicated that the state was reviewing its policy regarding recruitment of investment in Tennessee from Chinese business owners.

On September 15, 2020, a Tennessee Government Operations Joint Subcommittee heard testimony from Economic & Community Development (ECD) Commissioner Bob Rolfe. During his testimony, Rolfe stated that regarding China and Tennessee’s Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) initiative, 40-plus companies operate in Tennessee representing approximately $600 million dollars invested in the state and employing about 6,000 Tennesseans.

These figures put China as the third largest FDI country doing business in Tennessee. According to Commissioner Rolfe, Tennessee was not doing business with China as a country but with private businesses from China. It’s not clear whether or even how the Commissioner has verified the status of these businesses.

The Department of Justice’s China Initiative has identified FDI as warranting a high level of transparency because of its potential to threaten U.S. infrastructure.

Rolfe also informed the Subcommittee that about $2 billion dollars annually of Tennessee goods are exported to China, while Tennessee imports approximately $28 billion dollars annually of goods made in China.

Common Core math applied to trade.

According to Rolfe, Bill Lee has asked ECD to “make sure Tennessee maintains its automotive ecosystem,” and that the state remain at the “forefront of recruiting any project related to electric vehicles.” Rolfe told the Subcommittee’s legislators that “most of this technology comes from private companies in China.”

Pompeo and Ratcliffe’s warnings suggest that on the economic front, Tennessee’s leadership is moving the state in a questionable direction. Moreover, these decisions do not account for the cultural and political inroads being made and championed by the Marxists and pro-Communist China Liberation Road agitators operating out of the Highlander Center near Knoxville.

Tennessee has already experienced at least two incidences, the latest in 2019, of Chinese nationals who became naturalized U.S. citizens being prosecuted for theft of trade secrets.

In February 2019, a grand jury indicted a U.S. naturalized Chinese national employed by the East Chemical company in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was working with a Chinese national living in China. Together, they conspired and almost successfully stole trade secrets owned by several companies estimated to have cost approximately $119,600,000 dollars to develop. This case also involved China’s Thousand Talents plan referenced by Secretary Pompeo in his address at the National Governors Association meeting. This Chinese program which helps harvest U.S. technology was implicated in the East Chemical case.

Three years earlier, a U.S. naturalized Chinese national attempted to steal Dupont/Chemours process for making the color white. At that time, the Chemours plant in New Johnsonville, Tennessee was one of the few Dupont plants making the color white using the trade secret which was almost stolen and exported back to China.

In both cases, despite being a U.S. naturalized citizen, the Chinese national went back to the communist Chinese government to make the trade secrets and intellectual property they attempted to steal available to government officials.

More recently, during the same month that Secretary Pompeo was warning governors about the potential of being hoodwinked when dealing with Chinese entities, a researcher at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, was indicted for wire fraud and making false statements about his affiliation with a Chinese university “while receiving funding from NASA.” Federal law prohibits NASA from funding projects in collaboration with China or Chinese universities. Concealing the information caused UTK to falsely certify its compliance with federal law.

The Lee administration should be held to account to Tennesseans for his administration’s decisions and actions regarding business with Chinese companies – even those they believe are private entities. The Lee administration should be required to share with Tennesseans fully vetted and reliable information that the Chinese companies neither act at the direction of or are accountable to the Chinese Communist Party.

Tennesseans have good reason to be concerned especially if Joe Biden successfully steals the election.

Tennessee’s Highlander Center: A Home for the Chinese Communist Party? Part 5

It’s no secret that Movement 4 Black Lives leaders (M4BL), Black Lives Matter (BLM) and the pro-Communist Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) have the same intention and objectives.

Part 1 of the Highlander series provided details about Highlander co-director Ash-Lee Henderson’s connectedness to Liberation Road, one of the two pro-China communist organizations operating in the U.S..

In 2016, Liberation Road restated its solidarity with “Black activists, protesters, organizers, and communities in the fight for Black Lives” and “the unleashing of Black rage and Black hope, the forging of Black organizations and the nourishing of Black leadership.”

Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO) is the other U.S.-based pro-China communist organization. In 2019, FRSO split into two groups; one group renamed itself Liberation Road and is heavily focused on electoral politics and the community organizing that goes along with it.

Liberation Road is “strong” in Tennessee, and “works closely with the Communist Party USA, Democratic Socialists of America, Solidarity, League of Revolutionaries for a New America, Socialist Party USA, and sometimes the Workers World Party.”

Ash-Lee is also a member of the M4BL policy table leadership team. Launched in 2014, M4BL is a revolutionary-focused umbrella group of Black organizations whose agenda includes “Black Power Rising,” a massive redistribution of wealth and abolishing the electoral college.

Ash-Lee’s comrade-in-arms Alicia Garza, a trained Marxist and co-founder of BLM, also takes credit for helping to create the M4BL.

M4BL’s website states unequivocally, that “We are anti-capitalist: We believe and understand that Black people will never achieve liberation under the current global racialized capitalist system.”

Garza wears a variety of hats; she serves as the chief strategic advisor of the BLM Global Network Foundation and is the founder and principal of an advocacy group called the Black Futures Lab, (BFL), which supports the BLM Global Network Foundation and the M4BL. The fiscal sponsor of the BFL is the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA).

The Heritage Foundation states that the CSA has, from its founding in 1972 in San Francisco, been a “promoter” of China’s communist government. “‘According to an authoritative 2009 Stanford University paper tracing its early days to the present, and which can be found on marxist.org, the CPA began as a Leftist, pro-People’s Republic of China organization, promoting awareness of mainland China’s revolutionary thought and workers’ rights, and dedicated to self-determination, community control, and ‘serving the people.’”

Both the San Francisco CPA and the Boston CPA voiced support for BLM here and here, and their own grievance against perceived police brutality and use of excessive force.

CPA’s Boston chapter partners with the Chinese consulate. In 2010, the Boston CPA showed their support for the takeover of China by its communist party by raising the Chinese Communist Party’s flag over Boston’s City Hall. Ayanna Pressley, then a member of the city council, was present. She is now a member of the “squad” in Congress.

Ash-Lee Henderson’s “strong” organization, Liberation Road, notes that a communist-led revolution includes “overthrow of the capitalist state” and that “our thinking on these stages is drawn” from Lenin and “Mao’s discussion of the origins of the Chinese communist party.”

The Highlander Center which Ash-Lee co-directs, fiscally sponsors PowerU, an organization whose “principles of unity” says that “the systems of White Supremacy, Capitalism, and Heteropatriarchy  are the roots of oppression in our society,” mimicking the M4BL’s policy platforms.

In July, Garza and Ash-Lee were featured at a Harvard Kennedy School Summer Teach-In along with Jessica Byrd who is also a M4BL activist. This teach-in was intended to help draw students, faculty, and community members to support the radical goals of Garza and Ash-Lee’s movement.

Garza tweeted out her excitement about this event to her “fam @JessicaLByrd and Ash-Lee Henderson!”

Ash-Lee and Garza appear to have a close personal and ideological relationship. They are Marxists who abuse the idea of “social justice” to try and topple the horrible capitalist America which ironically, has provided the millions in grant money funneled to their organizations.

Ash-Lee’s anti-capitalist venom even extends to other Black people.

She says that they have people who are “really ready to throw down” and that now’s the time to take action against “the violence of white supremacy, the violence of capitalism, the violence of militarized forces in our communities that are terrorizing people…”

The Daily Signal reported that in 2015, Garza “told an important gathering of global Marxists, ‘It’s not possible for a world to emerge where black lives matter if it’s under capitalism, and it’s not possible to abolish capitalism without a struggle against national oppression.’”

********************************

The Highlander Center is the foremost and oldest social activist training center in the U.S. Under the leadership of Ash-Lee Henderson, it is a hub for boots-on-the-ground agitators and their organizations, and teaches young and old the basics of Marxist/Maoist community organizing skills.

The people of Tennessee, as well as those in other states who want a free market, Constitutional Republic, need to wake up and realize that the Highlander Center is dedicated to insurrection against our government.

What, if anything, will be done about this treasonous organization and its supporters?
