31,000 Illegal Aliens Working & Homesteading Under the Protection of Nashville Government

The Community Oversight Board (COB), a funded arm of the Metro Nashville government says there are 31,000 illegal aliens living and working in Davidson County.

A 2019 ranking by Pew puts the Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Franklin area as 50th out of 182 of the nation’s metro areas with the highest number of illegal aliens which of course, they incorrectly label “unauthorized immigrants.

The COB run by anti-police-pro-open-borders special interest groups, hasn’t let the COVID pandemic slow their efforts to use the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) to obstruct Tennessee’s sanctuary city law and keep illegal aliens from being found by ICE.

The COB is made up of 11 special interest “volunteers” supported by a Metro employee staff of 9 with a guaranteed annual budget of $1.5 million dollars. So of course Nashville’s Mayor must have his 32% property tax increase and state grant dollars to keep this special interest engine running.

In mid April the COB issued a report titled Policy Advisory Report Examining Local Law Enforcement Policies and Immigration Enforcement Actions.

The core agenda of groups like TIRRC and Conexion Americas is now institutionalized in the Metro government and because Nashville gets a lion’s share of state dollars, for example, in education funds for English Language Learners and economic and community development grants, the COB’s agenda is being funded by all Tennesseans, not just those who live in Davidson County.

Not surprisingly, the COB report was requested by Andres Martinez, the vice-chair of the COB. He also happens to be the Director of Policy and Communications for Conexion Americas, a Nashville organization and affiliate of the National Council of La Raza. This is the organization that gubernatorial candidate La Raza Randy Boyd funded with a quarter of a million dollars. For this and other reasons, thank goodness he didn’t win.

(As an aside, it’s worth remembering that La Raza Randy who was practically tied at the hip to Jeb!, Bill Hagerty was also a Jeb! aficionado serving as a Jeb! delegate in 2016. And after Jeb! withdrew, Hagerty flipped to Marco Rubio. So in fact, Trump was Hagerty’s last choice.)

A deep dive into the COB report shows that they are pushing for the MNPD to adopt four policies that will help illegal aliens in Nashville go undetected and to ignore the state’s sanctuary city law:

- The MNPD should create and implement policies and formal training on what types of U.S. issued and foreign issued identification will be accepted in order to issue misdemeanor citations rather than take individuals into physical custody.
- The MNPD should create and implement policies that discourage police officers from asking about immigration or citizenship status. If an officer does ask about immigration status or citizenship status, they should be required to document that they asked and provide a justification for the question in their report narratives.
- The MNPD should create and implement training on the difference between administrative and judicial warrants and what ICE can and cannot do while conducting immigration enforcement in public vs. REP (Reasonable Expectation of Privacy) areas.
- The Department of Emergency Communications and the Metro Nashville Police Department should document and track instances of federal immigration enforcement officials calling for MNPD or first responder assistance during their enforcement actions in Davidson County.

Equally concerning about the COB report is the glowing reference to a resolution adopted by the Austin City Council after Texas passed a very strong sanctuary city law which was subsequently ruled as Constitutional by a federal appeals court. The Austin City Council resolution was specifically intended to obstruct and skirt the state’s law.

Nashville Mayor’s Immigration Task Force is also recommending that the Metro Council adopt the Austin City Council resolution. If that happens, expect to see the same in Knoxville, Chattanooga and Memphis.

Any chance the Governor’s office has any clue what’s going on in Metro? Didn’t Bill Lee campaign as a hawk on illegal immigration? Didn’t he criticize Haslam for not signing the sanctuary city bill and said that if he were governor he would have signed it?

Many thought he actually meant what he said just like when he said he supported the state’s Tenth Amendment lawsuit on refugee resettlement. Right.

The U.S. Supreme Court just issued a unanimous decision upholding the federal anti-harboring law that bars people from actively encouraging illegal immigrants to remain inside the country. Sounds like it would include actions being considered by the Metro Council and the COB on top of Tennessee’s sanctuary city law.

Between 2015 and 2020, the state has given Metro Nashville $99,581,919 in fast track economic development grants. In 2017 and 2018, the state rewarded the out-of-control and irresponsible spending and illegal-alien-protectionist government in Davidson County with over $28 million dollars to recruit Philips North America and Alliance Bernstein.

Where and when does this stop?????

In November 2019, Tennessee’s State Comptroller rejected Nashville’s budget and issued a warning that if the county didn’t fix it’s financial mess, the state would take it over. The fix proposed by Mayor Cooper is a 32% property tax increase without any cuts of course to the COB $1.5 million dollar budget.

Feel free to let your state legislators and the Governor’s office know what’s going on in Metro Nashville – they need to put a stop to it before the radical blue island takes the whole state down.

Beijing Bill (Hagerty) – Tennessee Needs Closer Ties With the Commies!

Almost as soon as Haslam appointed Bill Hagerty to Commissioner of Economic & Community Development (ECD), Hagerty started paying back his political IOUs and gave Lamar’s son Will, a last name (Alexander) promotion to chief of staff. ECD’s organizational structure in August 2012, shows that in that position, Alexander oversaw the TN Film, Entertainment & Music Commission.

Beginning in 2013, the Beacon Center’s Pork Reports have pointed out that taxpayer funded subsidies for the entertainment industry benefit the corporate entity and not the taxpayer.

Hagerty, a committed globalist, also began looking to expand trade markets for Tennessee companies. With this goal in mind, he decided to push Tennessee companies to start exporting their goods to Communist China. So Hagerty had his Alexander sidekick organize a medical trade mission to China and South Korea for medical device manufacturers and other health care companies.

By 2013, Tennessee was ranked number one in the country for Foreign Direct Investment job creation, including investment in the state from China.

Who doesn’t want to own a piece of the South?

Hagerty took the early lead on deepening Tennessee’s ties to the communist state until he left in 2014. By 2017, Tennessee was reported to be “a top China trader” and being “the most dependent state in America for trade with China.”

Now that Hagerty’s running for the U.S. Senate and the anti-China sentiment spinning off of the COVID pandemic, he’s criticizing China for its trade expansionism.

On top of that, Hagerty’s plan to make Tennessee a profitable exporter to China never materialized. Instead, in 2016, two years after Hagerty put his plan in place, Tennessee had imported $23.7 billion of products from China compared with exports to China from Tennessee of $2.2 billion.

Expanding trade markets for Tennessee companies makes sense and was probably the same reason that had Hagerty thinking about the Middle East and why he hired someone with expertise in Shariah-compliant finance transactions. That’s the Samar Ali story which by all accounts of Hagerty’s campaign appearances raises questions that visibly irritate him. Like the fact that he says he’s pro-Israel but hired someone whose father has for over 15 years led a virulent anti-Israel organization.

Hagerty wanted Tennessee to get cozier with China even while Tennessee companies were off-shoring their manufacturing. Now the globalist conveniently turned nationalist, wants us to believe that his outrage for China’s trade practices (“China is acting more like trade enemy than trade ally”), and deception related to the Wuhan virus, is sincere.

Hagerty Busy Campaigning While Sethi is Busy Saving Lives

Candidate who has constructed his entire campaign around President Trump v. Candidate whose campaign rises from Constitutional self-governance – you know, that “we the People” thing.

Think about it – Hagerty would have no way to try and obscure his deep ties and commitments to Tennessee’s establishment Republicans like Lamar Alexander, and other globalist Republicans like Jeb!, Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney.

Hagerty owes a big political debt to never-Trumper Bill Haslam whose money and connections continue to give him pull in the Tennessee Republican party.

Hagerty’s launch in Tennessee government started with his political appointment by Haslam to be the Commissioner of the Department of Economic & Community Development (ECD). Does anyone really believe that Hagerty would have gotten that political appointment if he wasn’t connected to Tennessee’s ruling Republican elite and, wasn’t himself extremely wealthy?

Time to elect a man who spends his days with the real people in Tennessee. Someone who helps people through some of the most trying times in their lives. A person whose entire career is a person-to-person transaction, not a person-to-paper transaction.

Tennessee may be Trump country (which is a good thing), but Trump doesn’t elect the state’s Senators – real people in Tennessee do.

Look past Hagerty’s slick ads and his need to rely on the President’s endorsement at every turn – they are just words. Look at his POLITICAL DNA – IT IS FILLED WITH REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT ELITISTS AND ANTI-TRUMPERS.

Enough of giving bored super-wealthy businessmen something to do by letting them rule over us. Watch Hagerty try to take advantage of the COVID-19 crisis touting his business experience and Trump appointing him to an economic advisory team. Hagerty basically bought his ambassadorship and Trump jumped out too early and endorsed him for the Senate seat. So Trump will do what he can to have his pick win.

Tennessee deserves better than another establishment business suit doing the business of people they left in the dust years ago.

Tennesseans, Do You Know Your Senate Candidate Yahweh Yahweh?

Clarification: Please be advised Yahweh Yahweh is a female Commissioner from Gibson County TN, who is running for State Senate. The picture of the male in the white turban is the head of her affiliated organizations, whose name is Yahweh ben Yahweh.

As we approach critical elections this year, it is more important than ever to truly understand who candidates are. First remember, if things sound to good to be true, they are. That may be the case in Gibson County TN where a woman name Yahweh Yahweh is running for State Senate. While never claiming to be of any particular faith, her attributes listed on her Commissioner campaign page list giving back to her community, and volunteering to help those who can’t help themselves. Wonderful.

Dig a little deeper and you will find a connection to a disturbing, appearing to be religious, almost cultish order called The Order of the Celestial Lodge. As usual with groups that don’t want attention, they seek to confuse, often having several websites that link to nowhere, and alter their organization using varying names. This seems to fit this group. Ms. Yahweh Yahweh of Tennessee, a current commissioner for Gibson County is seeking election for a State Senate position claims an affiliation to The Order of the Celestial Lodge, which holds the same address as The Celestial Federation of YAHWEH (CFY).

On Ms. Yahweh’s LinkedIn page (a professional network site) she also claims to be Supreme Elder Queen Mother Commissioner at The Kingdom of YAHWEH

The Kingdom of YAHWEH, another cultish group with a political ideology, also adores the King, Yahweh ben Yahweh. Keep in mind, Ms. Yahweh, the Commissioner from Gibson County TN professes to help her community and the poor,while her affiliation boasts of their “Royal Crest”:

Yahweh ben Yahweh, considered “King” of the Kingdom of Yahweh, and The Order of the Celestial Lodge.

Again, Ms. Gibson claims no stake in any religion, but does ascribe to The Order of the Celestial Lodge, (aka the Celestial Federation of Yahweh) and the Kingdom of Yahweh. Without researching, many may assume these are religious organizations, therefore believe she would be a good Senator based on her good deeds to her community.

Using verse after verse from the Bible, with tones of Judaism, it could be misconstrued Ms. Yahweh is Christian or Jewish, however neither seems to be true. What we do know is they worship a King who resides in many cities, from Beverly Hills to Miami. They are not a religion, but are members of the UN, and consider themselves a movement.

The bottom line, while Ms. Yahweh Yahweh may contribute to her community in a positive way, what are her true intentions? To many, her religious beliefs, or lack of, may not matter, but in today’s political climate Tennesseans need to fully understand what their candidates stand for. Research her affiliations for yourself and you be the judge.

Nashville Council Member Zocialist Suara Politicking For Socialism

Dubbed “Z” during her successful campaign for Nashville Metro Council, Zulfat Suara now admits she is a full fledged socialist and wants Bernie Sanders to be President.

From the comfort of her new $650,000 home, Zocialist Suara is working as one of Bernie Sanders’ three Tennessee campaign co-chairs. The other two, Emily Benedict and Delishia Porterfield are not surprisingly, Metro Nashville Council members.

From 2012 until right before running for an at-large seat on the Metro Nashville Council, Zocialist Suara led the TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC). Under her leadership, AMAC joined forces with Linda Sarsour, one of the most vocal anti-Semites in the U.S., featuring Sarsour at different AMAC events.

Sarsour is now “Bernie Sanders’s Anti-Semitic Surrogate”

This seems to be a pattern for Zocialist Suara who admires vocal Jew-haters U.S. Congressional members Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

Zocialist Suara was so inspired by the newly elected Jew-haters, that during her speech at the 2019 Nashville Women’s March, she announced her own candidacy for an at-large seat on the Metro Nashville City Council. Best guess is that she had to run at-large because to was all about “My Muslim Vote.”

By the time Zocialist Suara made that announcement she already knew Sarsour who co-founded The Women’s March with Tamika Mallory. The Nashville Women’s March is a named affiliate of Sarsour’s Women’s March.

Sarsour was the one who instigated injecting the Jew-hating anti-Israel BDS campaign into The Women’s March. Granted, no one should have been surprised given that she and her co-leader Mallory are supporters of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite who has praised Hitler and described Jews as “satanic.”

Hitler was a socialist liberal and led the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, a fact neither Bernie’s girls nor Bernie himself wants to own. What they try to do instead, is deflect by claiming their’s is a “Democratic” form of socialism.

Only in their own minds and only using their own twisted semantics since there is no such thing as “Democratic Socialism.”

Along with Linda Sarsour and Zocialist Suara, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have endorsed Sanders for President.

Sarsour, Omar and Tlaib have freely and publicly given voice to their anti-Zionism anti-Semitism.

Zionism is the movement that helped to establish the State of Israel. Martin Luther King Jr., often cited by progressives as a symbol for social justice, understood that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. As he said, “When people criticize Zionist, they mean Jews. You are talking anti-Semitism.”

Sanders’ has made a full display of his own Jewish self-hatred. He has hired two senior advisers with documented anti-Israel backgrounds for which they “were censured in the past for their deeply anti-Semitic, Judeophobic and anti-Israel views.”

“Republican Jewish Coalition spokesperson Neil Strauss said the hires illustrate a bigger issue.

‘We see this time and again with progressive Democrats, anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism are OK in their ranks.’”

It’s become such a lightening rod in the Sanders campaign that a moderate pro-Israel Democratic Super PAC is running ads against him.

(It almost feels like a throw-back to the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini’s alliance with Hitler).

Regardless of whether they call themselves “progressives” or “socialists” radical candidates like Zocialist Suara, Tlaib and Omar are celebrated and endorsed by “Our Revolution” (OR), which functions as, the 501(c)(4) arm of Bernie Sanders’ campaign.

Not to be left out, TIRRCVotes (TN Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition) endorsed its former board member and activist Zocialist Suara for the Metro Council.

OR has a Tennessee state chapter and predictably, a Nashville and Middle TN chapter.

Coincidentally, Bernie Sanders and Leon Trotsky, a Soviet Marxist, both authored a book titled “Our Revolution.”

“In 1980, Sanders served as an elector for the Socialist Workers Party, which was founded on the principles of Leon Trotsky. According to the New York Times, that party called for abolishing the military budget. It also called for “solidarity” with the revolutionary regimes in Iran, Nicaragua, Grenada, and Cuba; this was in the middle of the Iranian hostage crisis.”

“Our Revolution” wants Bernie Sanders for President and wants to put radicals in every elected office they can steal. James Zogby, another anti-Zionist, is on the board of OR.

Interestingly, Zogby served with Jerusalem Fund founder Hisham Sharabi on the board of the renamed American Committee on Jerusalem (ACJ).

Samar Ali’s father Subhi Ali served alongside Sharabi at the (anti-Zionist-pro-BDS) Jerusalem Fund and has led the organization’s board since 2005. Samar served as Zocialist Suara’s treasurer in her Metro Council campaign.

(Keep in mind Bill Hagerty’s close connection to Samar when that primary election comes around).

Greene County TN Election Official Boasts of Buying “F Trump” Lipstick.

It would only seem fair for Greene County voters to expect their election commissioners to be trustworthy and unbiased. However, a question that needs to be asked is if one belongs to a progressive, Trump hating organization, and publicly boasts of her disdain for our President, can she be trusted with the peoples votes? You be the judge.

Lena Kendrick Dean, a self-proclaimed activist is also a team leader of a nation-wide movement called Indivisible. While every single American has a right to belong to these groups, and to even display grotesque photos of a sitting president, there is an expectation of one who handles elections, and ballots to be above doing so.

Indivisible was founded as an off shoot of former President Barack Obama’s “Organizing for Action” which trains people across the country how to use Saul Alinsky style tactics to go after political opponents. Its founders Ezra Levin, Angel Padilla, and Leah Greenberg, all former democratic congressional staffers created Indivisible immediately after President Trump was elected as a means to resist his agenda and encourage disruption to his policies on all levels.

On the Indivisible website, their sole focus is to “defeat Trump at all costs”. Again, there are many groups looking to defeat, even destroy President Trump as the 2020 election grows near. Is it appropriate though, for one whose duties specifically calls to “secure the freedom and purity of the ballot” be done by someone who boasts about buying F Trump lipstick or even an offer to her to buy a F Trump T-shirt? Should Ms. Dean be trusted to “secure the freedom and purity of the ballot” when her organization calls to “do whatever it takes” to defeat trump?

You don’t have to like President Trump, agree with his policies or vote for him, but can elected or appointed election officials be trusted to maintain the integrity of all peoples votes be trusted when such disdain in apparent?

In todays political climate, the last glimmer of hope we can have is our vote means something, but according to Ms. Dean’s public disdain for the current president, can Greene County residents be assured their vote will count?

TN County Commissioners, Meet The Groups You Are Meeting With.

For Tennessee county commissioners and mayors, making a decision regarding resettling refugees in their districts has turned into a more difficult one thanks to the misleading information being given to them by leftist, progressive organizations. It should not matter if they are Democrats or Republicans, this is a matter of state sovereignty and the cost of a federal program being forced on their residents. Groups such as the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, (TIRRC), Catholic Charities, and Indivisible, are spreading false, emotional information rather than facts. Did it ever occur to the county commissioners and mayors, these organizations all have the same end goal of open borders and a drastic demographic change that will eventually replace conservatives in office?

Has it also ever occurred to the county commissioners organization representatives, like Holly Johnson, who has been busy visiting their offices, have a stake in this game as she makes money for every refugee CC resettles? As you can see from a 2017 tax form, Catholic Charities is a multi million dollar organization whose executive officers make over $115,000 per year.

So much for their argument it’s all about saving refugees. It’s all about the money.

Then there is the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coaltion (TIRRC). While they are not quite as wealthy, co executive director Stephanie Teatro makes over $60,000 as of 2017. TIRRC is all about open borders and abolishing ICE, the law enforcement agency responsible for arresting and deporting those here illegally. TIRRC , for the last several years has been the recipient of a grant from well known radical philanthropist George Soros, whose goal is to destroy America as we know it.

Another group, whose goal isn’t about money, but rather resisting and defeating President Trump, and all those who implement his agenda is Indivisible. Indivisible is a grassroots group morphed out of former President Barack Obama’s Organizing for Action (OFA). While there are hundreds of organizations campaigning to defeat the President, Indivisible’s sole mission is to do it all costs. Training thousands of disgruntled people across the country how to use the late Saul Alinsky tactics to smear those who disagree with your views. One example of their methods being successful occurred in Greene County TN, where self proclaimed Indivisible member Lena Kendrick Dean stood before a crowded county commission meeting to chastise those who had urged the commission to reject refugees coming into their county. Using abhorrent, xenophobic, and unethical as words to describe those who do not want the financial burden of paying for a federal program, Dean used the emotional debate, which resulted in a consent to accept. What is disturbing about Ms Dean and her beliefs, is she is a member of the Greene County Election Commission, whose duties are:

The question here is can Ms. Dean, who belongs to Indivisible, whose sole existence is to resist and defeat the current president at all costs, be trusted by her community to secure the “purity of the ballot”? While she claims everyone knows she belongs to this group, do they know what Indivisible stands for? My guess is they do not.

These are the groups and individuals meeting with Tennessee County Commissioners, and attending meetings. These are the agendas of those claiming it is all about saving those in need, when in reality it is nothing more than their desire to fundamentally alter the demographics and foundation of our country, starting with towns and cities, all while making money.

More Than Just a Bad Appointment By Bill Hagerty!

In Senate candidate Bill Hagerty’s recent article in the Times of Israel he speaks out against anti-Semitism, specifically citing the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions campaign (BDS) against Israel. Hagerty wants the U.S. to be a reliable ally for Israel. No doubt Israelis appreciate that sentiment and most in Tennessee likely share it as well. But Hagerty’s talk is campaign convenient, especially when his past walk seemed oblivious to any such concerns.

Hagerty wants conservative voters to forget that in 2012, he hired Shariah compliant finance (SCF) expert Samar Ali to serve as Asst. Commissioner for International Affairs in the Department of Economic & Community Development. Samar’s appointment set off a firestorm in conservative Republican circles. At a First Tuesday event in Nashville, Hagerty offered his personal and strongly worded defense for hiring Samar which was reported by Rod Williams (who was in attendance) in his blog A Disgruntled Republican – which is excerpted below.
Williams noted that Hagerty “spoke with passion.”

“The lady’s name is Samar Ali. She is a Tennessee native and yes, she is a Muslim. Her father was past President of the Tennessee Medical Association and a Colonel in the Tennessee National Guard. Ms Ali grew up in Waverly Tennessee and attended public schools and is all American girl. She has tremendous credentials, and we are fortunate to have her in our office. She is a former White House fellow and she was an associate with the prestigious law firm Hogan Lovells where she worked on counseling clients on mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and international business matters. During her time with Hogan Lovells, she was a founding member of the firm’s Abu Dhabi office. While in Abu Dhabi, she put together Sharia compliant finance projects. Hagerty continued:

“Big law firms and accounting firms, do that sort of thing all the time. Any firms that do a lot of international transactions has someone who can do Sharia compliant finance (SCF). There is nothing sinister about that. If I was going to do business in Louisiana, I would have to do business according to the Napoleonic code. When I came back to Tennessee, I would not follow that code to do business.When it was known we were looking to fill a position in our office, I got a call from her father* asking me if I would look at her resume. Like any father, he would like for his daughter to move closer to home. I interviewed her for the job, and she was the best qualified.”

“When all of this uproar, started, she came to me in tears and offered to resign. I told her I would not let her resign. We cannot give in to bigotry. (Maybe Mr. Hagerty did not use the word “bigotry” but that was the essence of his comment. He may have said “ignorance” or something else.)Ms Ali was not hired due to her expertise in Sharia compliant finance and I do not anticipate there would be occasions where she would use those skills.”

So Hagerty admitted he was well aware of her background in Sharia finance. Her bio from her position at Hogan Lovells before Hagerty’s hiring her noted that she had interned for the Islamic International Arab Bank (Arab Bank)in Amman Jordan in 2007. This was during the time that a lawsuit had been filed against the bank alleging that the bank was managing the funding of payments to the families of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) martyrs and also providing services to Hamas and others.

From 1995 to 2005 thousands in Israel, including American citizens, were killed by these terrorists! Beginning in 2004 approximately 500 US citizens sued the bank under the US Anti-Terrorism Act. The lawsuit filed by the family of Texan John Linde who was murdered in a 2003 Gaza car bombing, was the first terror financing case to go to trial.

In September 2014, a federal jury found Arab Bank liable for knowingly supporting terrorism efforts connected to two dozen attacks in the Middle East. This was the first time a bank has ever been held liable in a civil suit under a broad anti-terrorism statute.
One year later, the Arab Bank settled the claims of the 500 plaintiffs.

What kind of All American girl interns in a bank with a reputation like that? Anybody believe she was unaware of the bank’s history?

Yet Hagerty defended her and said we were fortunate to have her! He wouldn’t take her resignation and said “we can’t give in!”
If Hagerty wants voters to trust his judgment as a U.S. Senator, how does he explain either his poor vetting of Samar’s connections or his defense of them? How does Hagerty explain ignorance about the abundance of publicly available information about Samar’s connections?
In June of 2010 PJ Media reported extensively about Samar Ali. He had advised a Middle Eastern university about “the potential of establishment of a Foreign Aid Conventional and Shari’ah Compliant Student Loan Program.” An Obama’s White House press release stated that she “is a founding member of the first U.S. Delegation to the World Islamic Economic Forum.”

At the time, the foundation that runs this Forum included Saleh Abdullah Kamel on their International Advisory Panel. This is the same Kamel mentioned on the “Golden Chain” roster as an un-indicted co-conspirator in helping Osama bin Laden funnel money for the 9/11 attacks.

After defending Samar, Hagerty went on to defend Shariah finance, going so far as to trivialize it by comparing it to the Napoleonic code! “Any firms that do a lot of international transactions has someone who can do Sharia compliant finance (SCF). There is nothing sinister about that.”

But exactly what is this sharia compliant finance (SCF) that Bill Hagerty has endorsed as a legitimate business practice?
The following overview of SCF is from a 2011 Breitbart article which includes additional references.

In the 1940’s prominent Islamic figure, Maulana Abul Ala Mawdudi, saw the cultural and political Westernizations of Islam as a loss of religious and national identity to the Muslim World. To offset this perceived threat Mawdudi, along with others, pushed for a separate ideology, separate politics, and separate economics for Muslims. The result was to create a financial investment transactional status referred as being “authorized” or “pure” (halal) and in accordance to Islamic or Sharia Law. “Impure” transactions were ones which involved money from investments in the pork and alcohol-beverage industries, pornography, gambling, interest-based financing and Western defense.
This concept is explained further in a 2008 McCormick Foundation& the Center for Security Policy report called, “Shariah, Law and ‘Financial Jihad’: How Should America Respond?“

The bottom line is that Shariah authorities decide where the money goes and shariah law requires donations to jihadists!

The well-known suicide-bombing advocate, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, considered the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, said sharia finance was nothing less than “Jihad with money.” As al-Qaradawi explains, “God has ordered us to fight enemies with our lives and with our money.” Qaradawi is banned from entering the US and the UK because of his ties to terrorist organizations.

It is interesting that al-Qaradawi worked at the Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) as the chairman of the Sharia supervisory board while Samar Ali’s husband Amr El-Husseini worked there as well including in senior positions! And here is a new claim against QIB by an American journalist about a terrorist act involving QIB during Amr El-Husseini’s tenure.

So here’s what all this information tells us about U.S. Senate candidate Bill Hagerty:
• He knowingly hired an expert in SCF who worked at an Islamic Bank in the Middle East
• the bank had a reputation for funding Islamic terrorism and was in fact involved in a lawsuit involving the killing of Americans and Israeli’s even before her internship began
• he defended SCF and said there is nothing sinister about it
• Hagerty makes his money in private equity investing

A legitimate question for a financier is whether he thinks it’s okay for the international business community to participate in a practice designed in part to fund Islamic terrorism worldwide?

Bill Hagerty likes to remind everybody that he is the only candidate in this race that is endorsed by President Trump. True, but Hagerty is also the only candidate in this race that has supported sharia compliant finance. That is an endorsement that should be a deal breaker for every Tennessean!

This is more than a bad hire – it shows questionable judgment and forewarns us of questionable actions should Hagerty be elected to the U.S. Senate.

Tennesseans County Commissions Beware!

It would have only taken one word. No. However, Gov Bill Lee has decided to kick Tennesseans to the curb as his decision to accept refugees continues to cause divisiveness and anger in every single county. Because of his sole decision, the state of Tennessee will be financially burdened by being forced to pay for what used to be a federally funded program.

In Sept of 2019, President Trump issued an executive order which gave states the option to reject refugees, while also giving its localities (counties) a voice to decide if they too chose to not accept them. In December of 2019, a resolution was prepared which circulated to counties who then began to add the issue to their commission meetings. Those counties with conservative, level headed commissions made the choice to reject refugees, but the word quickly spread to social justice groups, and now they have sprung into full action.

So what can conservative county commissioners and their constituents expect? Being labeled and chastised. Leftist, progressive organizations are sending letters and attending meetings to shame, and use emotions to muddy the issue. Below is an excerpt of a letter sent to the Wilson County TN County Commission, written by a member of another radical group, the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, Judith Clerjeune

So who are these groups, and what can be done?

Meet Indivisible, which has several chapters across Tennessee. Indivisible was formed after the election of President Donald Trump, in partnership with Barack Obama’s “Organizing for Action” which trains leftist organizers in the radical street tactics popularized by the late Saul Alinsky; these organizers then pass along their knowledge to many additional people—especially young people—in communities from coast to coast.

Indivisible’s mission is clearly posted on their website which states:

Indivisible TN chapters build on the progressive message by offering ways to defeat Trump through the Indivisible Guide. Which also includes scripts on how to speak with Congressman. It also emphasizes how important it is to agree on “values of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness” which includes open borders, abolishment of ICE, supporting the transgender movement and of course illegal immigration and the acceptance of refugees, regardless of the financial burden on states. More recently,and most importantly is to see that President Trump is impeached and removed from office, or defeated at all costs in Nov of 2020.

In Greene County TN, in typical Indivisible fashion, Lena Kendrick Dean, who introduced herself at a county commission meeting, as being from Indivisible, chastised comments made prior to her regarding the rejection of refugees, by calling them “abhorrent, xenophobic, and unethical”, further stating we have a “moral and ethical obligation” to accept them. One very important thing residents of Greene County should know, is Lena Kendrick Dean also serves on the Greene County Election Commission. One should be questioning her ability to be fair and unbiased with her duties as an election commissioner seeing that she supports and is a member of the Indivisible movement, whose goal is to resist and remove the current President of the United States. Can she be trusted to oversee elections or assist conservative voters needs as they prepare to pick the next president?

While everyone is entitled to their opinion, we are also entitled to expect our elected officials do not belong to radical, anti-American organizations hell bent on instituting their beliefs. Millions of Americans did not agree with or support former president Barack Obama, but did not engage in movements to destroy him, or his supporters. We made our voice known by voting.

County Commissions throughout Tennessee should be aware Indivisible, TIRRC and Bridge Refugee Service members are planning on doing the same to you. Do not be lulled into the emotional argument, follow the facts.

Biblical Bill and Marsha Blackburn Work Their Individual Agendas to Undermine the President

Whoa! Biblical Bill’s lefty admirers have let the cat out of the bag. The refugee resettlement program isn’t about being a humanitarian. It isn’t about saving Christians. It’s about giving Pompeo foreign policy bargaining chips!

It’s also about keeping the gravy train of taxpayer money flowing to “charities” like Catholic Charities. Someone has done a great job of digging into the public money data which federal contractors have become addicted to:

In 2018 alone, over $1.2 billion has been awarded by our federal government to organizations and religious charities for refugee resettlement, unaccompanied alien children, refugee and entrant assistance, etc.

Catholic Charities of Tennessee (CCTN)’s latest available financials show that refugee resettlement money and services have come to dominate their work since they took over Tennessee’s program after Bredesen withdrew the state in late 2007. “Service fees” money is typically what the federal government pays for the privilege of having so-called charities like CCTN disburse taxpayer money.

Don’t be misled by the entry “Basic Needs/Counseling/Job Training/Elder Care” – most likely that is funded through the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services formula grants for refugees and immigrants.

And what about those “Hispanic Services” CCTN now offers to complement the “Immigration Services” they offer?

Anyone really believe Bill Lee and Mike Pompeo’s weekend jaunt wasn’t deliberate? Don’t for one minute underestimate Bill Lee’s ego – he’s being touted by his Tennessee admirers as the expert who can help Pompeo fix the U.S. refugee resettlement program. And don’t think any of this is innocent.

Like Biblical Bill, Pompeo has a use for refugees, whether as bargaining chips for foreign allies or to mollify State Department careerists he now oversees. The same leftist New Yorker reporter who understands that the President is trying to dismantle the dysfunctional refugee program, has outed Pompeo as wanting to keep the numbers high.

Fake news? Maybe not.

Refugee Resettlement Watch reported an even more persuasive statement made by refugee contractor HIAS’ Melanie Nezer:

“Pompeo is the critical stakeholder,” one refugee advocate said.

Now that he’s served both as CIA director and secretary of state, activists hope that Pompeo has earned an appreciation for the diplomatic leverage having a robust refugee program can give the U.S. in negotiations with other countries.

“It’s a bargaining tool: We’ll take a certain number of refugees. These are the things you will do for us,” explained Melanie Nezer, a top official with HIAS, one of several organizations that helps refugees.

What Nezer knows that gullible Republicans including Bill Lee don’t, is that from the first minute, refugees are handled by the paid federal contractors who work at the overseas Refugee Service Centers. Once there in the U.S. who do you think handles all the goodies they get from the American taxpayer? The paid federal contractors, that’s who. And whose financial health is dependent on how many refugees they resettle? The paid federal contractors, that’s who. Their messaging is not how good the American taxpayer is, it’s look what we have done for you, if it wasn’t for us fighting for your rights, the Republican meanies wouldn’t even let you come to their country or their state.

Look what President Trump has done – tried to keep you out.

And look who Bill Lee has surrounded himself with – Tennessee Globicans like his Director of External Affairs, Joseph Williams who, like Bill Hagerty,, was a Jeb! delegate, and his chief of staff anti-Trumper Blake Harris.

Then there’s Sen. Marsha Blackburn doing her level best to deceive her way out of a bad bill that we now learn really does go against Trump’s American first immigration efforts.

A leaked State Department memo about Marsha’s bill confirms what Dailyrollcall previously reported:

Blackburn’sbillmandates a fast track for Syrians, Iraqis and Kurds who claim they were in some way connected, however loosely or remotely, to America’s fight against ISIS. The bill’s language in this regard isvery broadly written.

No cap is put on the numbers to be admitted as refugees, nor does this priority group of refugees count towards President Trump’s FY2020 cap of 18,000 refugees. Vetting for this particular pool of potential U.S. entrants, is vague at best.

The State Department memo states:

Bill Lee is manipulating Tennessee Christians. Marsha is manipulating Tennessee voters.

But Bill Lee and Marsha Blackburn are both undermining President Trump.
