1945-2020: From The Greatest Generation to a Chicken Little Nation.

I haven’t been as ashamed of my country as I am now since Obama was reelected in 2012.

The reaction to COVID-19 from the President on down has been nothing but irrational panic on different levels, often resulting in good old fashioned tyranny of the kind we haven’t seen in our country since its founding. In some cases, the policies may be well-intended, but they are nevertheless tyrannical.

Instead of being the “home of the free and land of the brave”, we have become the land of the naïve and afraid!

No disrespect intended to the elderly and others with compromised immune systems who do have more to fear from COVID 19 than does the average person, my beef is with the rest of the folks – whether they be elected officials or average Joe’s – that not only freaked out for their own health and safety, but wanted everybody else to be just as scared and compliant as they are.

I hold in special contempt those officials that established snitch lines to report any citizen not fully terrified and compliant with whatever stupid policy they had established and those that snitched on their neighbor or others they observed daring to be free.

Yes, I know that fear of the unknown is a great motivator, but fear is also a terrible emotion around which to make policy, especially irrational fear.

I understand that the President couldn’t just ignore it; and, in fact, he rightfully took swift action to stop travel from China early on when he found out about the virus – for which the Left and the so-called experts initially criticized him for doing.

I understand that the original models warned of over 2 million casualties from the virus and President Trump felt pressure to act. While we know now that those projections were wildly inaccurate, it’s hard to believe whatever number with which we finally end up due to numerous accounts of doctors being encouraged to list the cause of death as COVID-19 without testing or even when other factors are involved. Hospitals also now have financial incentives through Medicare to list COVID-19 as the culprit.

So, while it is great news that the projected number of infections, hospitalizations and deaths will be much lower than anticipated, the damage done by all the lockdowns is only getting worse. Our economy is being destroyed, along with the prosperity of many of our citizens. Many small business owners will be ruined permanently. All for an overblown threat!

But the bigger issue that every American should be concerned about is what government at the different levels has done in the name of health/safety, and worse yet what most of the citizens of our country and state have accepted as necessary. Things such as closing down businesses deemed “nonessential”.

How can it be constitutional for the government at any level to tell citizens that the legal business or job that they do to support themselves and their family can’t be done? If that is not tyrannical, what is?

How can it be constitutional to shut down churches, or limit attendees to 10 people and mandate 6 feet of separation between members?

When was the 1st Amendment and corresponding state-recognized rights of citizens repealed? I must have missed that Amendment process all together.

How can it be constitutional to dictate how many people can attend a public meeting, or even a private gathering?

How can it be constitutional to stop elective medical procedures? How many are suffering now because of that decision? How many in the medical profession have been laid off now because of this policy?

We are committing national suicide of our economy and our rights over an overblown “invisible enemy” that we now know is not any deadlier than the seasonal flu!

We have closed our schools and universities. The bright side of that particular closure is less leftwing indoctrination for our kids, but the panic that caused it is still wrong.

Apparently, most Americans have never heard the saying “those that would give up liberty for security deserve neither”. Maybe most Americans are just American-In-Name-Only today ?

We have never shut down our economy before and infringed on the basic rights and freedoms of this many Americans in any past pandemic or the numerous wars in which we have engaged with visible and real enemies. And you can’t defeat any enemy – visible or not – with a decimated economy.

At this rate, many Americans will be hypocrites when they celebrate the 4th of July. And certainly many will be hypocrites when they pretend to honor the sacrifices of our Veterans that died upholding their oath to the Constitution which recognizes our GOD-given rights that so many have readily given up!

While Tennessee hasn’t been as draconian in policy or enforcement as other states, it is still tyrannical and unconstitutional.

What makes Tennessee’s situation so egregious is that the broad emergency powers being exercised by Gov Lee, though statute (TCA Code 58-2-107) are in direct contradiction with the state constitution and the Declaration of Rights found in Article I of the Tennessee Constitution. In some cases, the violations are obvious and direct. In others – such as closing small businesses while allowing other big box stores to remain open – the spirit of the law, if not the letter, have been violated.

Below are just a few of those rights that stand out given the stated intent of the document:

“ARTICLE I. Declaration of Rights.

“Section 1. That all power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their peace, safety, and happiness; for the advancement of those ends they have at all times, an unalienable and indefeasible right to alter, reform, or abolish the government in such manner as they may think proper.

“Section 2. That government being instituted for the common benefit, the doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power and oppression is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

“Section 3. That all men have a natural and indefeasible right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of their own conscience; that no man can of right be compelled to attend, erect, or support any place of worship, or to maintain any minister against his consent; that no human authority can, in any case whatever, control or interfere with the rights of conscience; and that no preference shall ever be given, by law, to any religious establishment or mode of worship.”

“Section 8. That no man shall be taken or imprisoned, or disseized of his freehold, liberties or privileges, or outlawed, or exiled, or in any manner destroyed or deprived of his life, liberty or property, but by the judgment of his peers, or the law of the land.”

“Section 17. That all courts shall be open; and every man, for an injury done him in his lands, goods, person or reputation, shall have remedy by due course of law, and right and justice administered without sale, denial, or delay. Suits may be brought against the state in such manner and in such courts as the Legislature may by law direct.”

“Section 20. That no retrospective law, or law impairing the obligations of contracts, shall be made.”

“Section 22. That perpetuities and monopolies are contrary to the genius of a free state, and shall not be allowed.

“Section 23. That the citizens have a right, in a peaceable manner, to assemble together for their common good, to instruct their representatives, and to apply to those invested with the powers of government for redress of grievances, or other proper purposes, by address of remonstrance.”

Furthermore, Article XI, Section 16 of the Tennessee Constitution states, “The declaration of rights hereto prefixed is declared to be a part of the Constitution of this State, and shall never be violated on any pretense whatever. And to guard against transgression of the high powers we have delegated, we declare that everything in the bill of rights contained, is excepted out of the General powers of government, and shall forever remain inviolate.”

What this means is that the legislature in the past gave the Governor powers that they didn’t even possess and that are clearly unconstitutional at the state level alone. There is no constitutional basis for much of what the Governor has done even in the name of an “emergency”.

That means that the disastrous decisions made by Governor Lee – albeit with political cover provided by the President and others – can and should be remedied by the legislature. It means there is a check on King Lee’s powers.

The bottom line is that we should demand the legislature redo the statute in accordance with the state constitution even if that means calling a special session to do so. Any legislator not willing to address this fundamental constitutional issue doesn’t deserve the support of voters that care about their own livelihood and liberty!

Does Muslim Holy Month Garner More Attention Than Christian Or Jewish Ones?

 

   On the holiest day of the year for Christians, Easter Sunday, churches were eerily empty, with congregations forced to stay at home due to a virus, and restrictions that don’t allow 10 or more  people to gather. While some pastors broke those guidelines, and faced arrest, many others were harassed by state police officers taking vehicle license plate information as they chose to attend services. Easter Sunday for millions was instead celebrating alone in their homes watching streaming or televised services. The day passed quietly, leaving many sad and unfulfilled.

On April 24, Muslims began their month-long observation of Ramadan, and they want to be sure everyone knows it. While mosques will remain closed, Muslims in many large cities have sought, and received noise permits, so that the Adhan, or call to prayer could be broadcast across communities. Jacob Frey, the Mayor of Minneapolis was the first to embrace the idea, as Muslims in the Cedar Riverside community, along with CAIR ( Council on American Islamic Relations aka Hamas) requested the executive order to permit prayers to be heard over loud speakers, 5 times a day.

Sounding more like a political statement, the author of an article by Dr. Michael Van Keulen printed in the Star Tribune, states “I believe that this is a moment when we are called to our democratic principles. I encourage all of us to not be distracted by fearmongering or hate speech. The call to prayer is no more a sign of a religion taking over than those beautiful church bells I have heard for years. Our nation is strong enough to value and include our diversity. Our people are strong enough to ensure that all can live with dignity. Accepting that this is a year that challenges our sense of community, I hope that in the end, this time results a greater and more inclusive nation.”  Church bells ringing hardly are hardly the same than a prayer being recited in public. 

As if that weren’t enough, NYC will be supplying 500,000 halal (permissible) food to Muslims for the entire month of Ramadan: About 400,000 Halal meals will be distributed at 32 Department of Education buildings and another 100,000 will be served through community organizations during the month. Mayor Bill DeBlasio had this to say about these meals “One of Ramadan’s most noble callings is to feed the hungry,” de Blasio said during a Thursday news briefing. “To remember to be there for those in need. And that is now harder than ever now that people can’t go to their mosques.”

While this program overall serves kosher food as well, it is a program many cities have to feed those in need during this pandemic, but not specifically for a month-long religious event.  As CAIR ( Council on American Islamic Relations aka Hamas) continues to publicize their bogus reports of Muslims being oppressed and discriminated against, it is clear, they are not at all but rather just the opposite. For years now, many businesses, schools and organizations have issued guidelines for recognizing Muslim holy days, dictating what to do and not do while their Muslim employees or students practice their faith, including fasting during Ramadan.  In this article in the Business Insider, it suggests “But don’t make jokes about your colleague not having coffee or eating lunch, either.” as that would be offensive.

As if the month of April has not had any other highly religious holy days, the Tennessean published an article “How one Brentwood family is adapting their Ramadan traditions during the COVID-19 crisis”. The article picturing a doctor with his family on their mansions front stairs, while Nashville Scene features another article, “Nashville’s Muslim Community Prepares for a Ramadan Unlike Any Other”.

 

By all appearances, it seems many news outlets are smitten with the Muslim community, promoting them to be somehow more pious or affected by this virus than others.  Muslims have created this false sense of importance, that they are the only ones that are making sacrifices during this crisis. Yet were there massive efforts to feed needy Christians during the holy week of Easter or Jews for Passover? Were Christians allowed to hear sermons over loud speakers  in their neighborhoods during their holy week? Did newspapers send reporters to Christians homes to see how they were affected by celebrating the joys of Easter alone in their homes?  Do businesses and schools have specific guidelines to address what their Christians and Jewish employees and students can and cannot do during their holy days? You be the judge.

If one thing can be learned by this, is Muslims in America are not oppressed, discriminated against or harassed like they claim, but rather are placed on pedestals that promote them as a special class somehow more worthy of acknowledgement, and if treated differently, CAIR will be knocking on your door with lawsuit papers in hand.

West TN Republican Running for State Senator – Paid Advocate for Refugee Resettlement?

Republican Senator Dolores Gresham is not running for re-election.

Page Walley, who works for an organization involved with refugee resettlement is running for Gresham’s Senate seat.

Page Walley is not new to the state legislature. He served in the House from 1990 – 2000. He has a pretty long resume of holding different positions including as a former Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services.

Walley is a licensed clinical psychologist turned lobbyist and works as the President/Chief Public Policy and Community Engagement Officer for St. Francis Ministries. Walley’s job is to advocate for whatever services St. Francis wants to provide and get paid for. Walley and his team lobby in D.C. and at the state and local level. St. Francis maintains a satellite office in D.C.

From the looks of the St. Francis’ latest available 990 (in 2017) – they spend boo-coo dollars on lobbying, like well over $1.5 million.

St. Francis Ministries is an “organization rooted in the Episcopal faith” providing services in several U.S. states and in locations overseas, including refugee resettlement services in Kansas.

The St. Francis Migration Ministries is “a partner and affiliate of Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM), the refugee resettlement program of the Episcopal Church.” EMM – Episcopal Migration Ministries, is one of the nine national refugee resettlement profiteers which contract with the U.S. State Department.

As tracked and reported by Refugee Resettlement Watch, EMM is 99.5% funded with taxpayer dollars. That means that you the taxpayer help pay the salaries of St. Francis lobbyists like Walley. Just think, if he wins the Senate seat, taxpayers can double their payments! 

And like the other refugee resettlement profiteers, they have opposed President Trump’s reduction in refugee admission numbers. Maybe because the federal refugee program has historically been a cash cow for NGOs, EMM goes after any opposition to refugee resettlement. After Texas said no to continued refugee resettlement in response to the President’s Executive Order, the Episcopal Church “condemn[ed] Governor Abbott’s decision.

Unlike some of the other federal refugee contractors, EMM and its Government Relations (ie, lobbyist), are part of the Episcopal Church – “The Office of Government Relations represents the policy priorities of The Episcopal Church to the U.S. government in Washington, D.C. We aim to shape and influence policy and legislation on critical issues, highlighting the voices and experiences of Episcopalians and Anglicans globally. All policy positions are based on General Convention and Executive Council resolutions, the legislative and governing bodies of the Church.”

Walley’s job description sounds all warm and fuzzy and his campaign issues which pretty much sound like everyone else’s, include the usual anti-illegal immigration and pro legal immigration.

It’s not a far stretch to say though that Walley’s campaign position to “strengthen legal immigration” is directly related to his job with St. Francis. Not much different than Bill Lee’s personal agenda to shove the refugee resettlement program on all of Tennessee’s counties.

It also means that Walley is not likely to support any efforts by the Tennessee General Assembly to address the issue of the federal government forcing Tennessee to pay for refugee resettlement costs. Sen. Steve Dickerson whose campaign was “I’m a different kind of Republican,” was the only Republican Senator to vote against suing the federal government for forcing the state to pay the federal government’s share of costs for the refugee program.

Gresham was first elected in 2003, to the House where she served for 6 years, and then was elected to the Senate in 2009, where she will have served for 12 years by the time she retires her seat in November.

Could be happy times for Governor Lee if a like-minded refugee program expansionist won the Senate seat.

Voters in Walley’s district need to get busy asking him questions.

Hagerty Busy Campaigning While Sethi is Busy Saving Lives

Elitist v. Man who works among and for regular every day Tennesseans.

Candidate who has constructed his entire campaign around President Trump v. Candidate whose campaign rises from Constitutional self-governance – you know, that “we the People” thing.

Think about it – Hagerty would have no way to try and obscure his deep ties and commitments to Tennessee’s establishment Republicans like Lamar Alexander, and other globalist Republicans like Jeb!, Marco Rubio and Mitt Romney.

Hagerty owes a big political debt to never-Trumper Bill Haslam whose money and connections continue to give him pull in the Tennessee Republican party.

Hagerty’s launch in Tennessee government started with his political appointment by Haslam to be the Commissioner of the Department of Economic & Community Development (ECD). Does anyone really believe that Hagerty would have gotten that political appointment if he wasn’t connected to Tennessee’s ruling Republican elite and, wasn’t himself extremely wealthy?

Time to elect a man who spends his days with the real people in Tennessee. Someone who helps people through some of the most trying times in their lives. A person whose entire career is a person-to-person transaction, not a person-to-paper transaction.

Tennessee may be Trump country (which is a good thing), but Trump doesn’t elect the state’s Senators – real people in Tennessee do.

Look past Hagerty’s slick ads and his need to rely on the President’s endorsement at every turn – they are just words. Look at his POLITICAL DNA – IT IS FILLED WITH REPUBLICAN ESTABLISHMENT ELITISTS AND ANTI-TRUMPERS.

Enough of giving bored super-wealthy businessmen something to do by letting them rule over us. Watch Hagerty try to take advantage of the COVID-19 crisis touting his business experience and Trump appointing him to an economic advisory team. Hagerty basically bought his ambassadorship and Trump jumped out too early and endorsed him for the Senate seat. So Trump will do what he can to have his pick win.

Tennessee deserves better than another establishment business suit doing the business of people they left in the dust years ago.

Muslim Women Excited Others Are Wearing “Face Coverings”

The New Normal?

Once again, in an effort to legitimize their oppression by their so-called religion, Muslim women are ecstatic non-Muslim women are wearing masks during the Corona virus crisis. In an article recently published by the “Conversation” website, Muslim women across the UK and United States were interviewed regarding masks. “There’s a marked difference to the way I’m being perceived. Nobody is giving me dirty looks because of my gloves and the covered face,” said a woman I’ll call Afrah, from the the U.K., in a Facebook Messenger chat. “Everyone suddenly understands it!”

 

The article goes on to say how non-Muslim women are now seeking out typical Muslim garb, as fashion statements to protect against the corona virus. What non-Muslim women don’t get is Muslim women are forced to wear niqabs, burqas, and other oppressive face coverings as their obeyance to their god, as a form of modesty. While Muslim women like to say they wear it for that reason, if they are true Muslims, they conform to Sharia law,the Quran, and the Hadiths, all which demands they cover themselves .

The Council on America Islamic Relations (CAIR) Jamal Badawi,  also a known member of the Muslim Brotherhood, who is viewed  as a ‘moderate’ scholar, insists that the hijab is “a command of Allah to Muslim women” and it should be “the duty of the state” to enforce it.

In 2017, al-Azhar university in Egypt, the home of many Muslim Brotherhood scholars,  decreed that the veil was compulsory for Muslim women… and not even open for debate: “It is not acceptable that anyone from the public or non-specialized people, regardless of their culture, to voice their opinions on the matter.” Can anyone seriously claim that the leading Sunni institution in the world doesn’t understand Islam? 

While American women like to think they are the bastions of feminism, and freedom to wear what they want, complimenting and duplicating the Muslim look is re-enforcing, and legitimizing oppression. Non Muslim woman need to think twice before donning veils, under the guise of preventing a disease from spreading, but rather educate themselves as to why Muslim women must wear them. Aiding in the injustices against Muslim women is never a good thing.

What Comes First? Bill Lee’s Personal Refugee Agenda or the Suffering of Tennessean’s Health & Ability to Make a Living?

For Tennesseans personally impacted by the deadly and destructive March tornadoes and/or the deadly and devastating COVID-19 crisis, there is no question about what need to be Bill Lee’s priorities.

Bill Lee needs to retract his consent to continue bringing refugees to Tennessee. In fact, he shouldn’t hesitate to write that letter today to his good buddy Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Lee’s personal agenda for refugee resettlement has no proper place in any plan to help restore Tennesseans impacted by the tornadoes and COVID-19.

Helping Tennesseans recover and get back on their feet comes first. This includes restoring economic vibrancy to the state’s economy. It includes doing everything in our state’s power to prevent the 15 economically distressed counties which “rank among the 10 percent most economically distressed counties in the nation,” from slipping further away from us.

At last count, almost 250,000 Tennesseans have filed unemployment claims but with Lee extending the shutdown for several more weeks, don’t be surprised if the number of unemployed needing help increases.

So, will more people in Tennessee now qualify for TennCare in addition to the working poor on whose behalf the liberals and progressives have been pushing Medicaid expansion? Did Lee’s Medicaid block grant plan account for these contingencies?

Small businesses have been decimated by the COVID shutdown. And even larger businesses have laid off employees. How long will it take for them to gear back up and what happens to the people who are forced to wait or whose job is eliminated?

Regardless of what Lee and company tell us about refugees, the fact remains that they use cash welfare and TennCare as soon as they arrive. They also compete for jobs that out-of-work Tennesseans are willing and need to take.

This was the very real situation in 2009, documented by the Wall Street Journal in Job Fight: Immigrants vs. Locals, about what happened at the Tyson’s plant in Shelbyville.

Economic desperation during the 2007 – 2009 recession didn’t stop either Bush or Obama from importing large numbers of refugees just like the ones lining up in Shelbyville to compete with local residents who needed those jobs. Burmese refugees from Nashville, Florida and Idaho were lined up for the Tyson jobs, along with “several vanloads of Asian and African applicants from Nashville” brought there by “churches and refugee resettlement agencies.”

During these recession years, 3,300 refugees were resettled in Tennessee, not including refugees who moved into Tennessee from other states. The largest groups being initially resettled in Tennessee during this time were 807 Burmese, 575 Iraqis, 463 Burundis, 452 Somalis and 393 Bhutanese.

The data that is reported does not reflect the increase in numbers due to chain migration when resettled refugees apply to bring family members to join them.

Any current plan for Tennessee’s economic recovery should also account for the thriving illegal alien population which groups like TIRRC (TN Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition) also call “refugees” in a deliberate effort to confuse the public.

A coalition of groups including TIRRC, Stand Up Nashville, The Equity Alliance, Memphis For All, Tennessee Justice Center, Service Employees International Union Local 205, A Better Balance, Chattanooga Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO, Central Labor Council of Memphis and West TN, AFL-CIO, Central Labor Council of Nashville and Middle TN, AFL-CIO, Chattanooga in Action for Love, Equality and Benevolence (CALEB), Nashville Organized for Action and Hope (NOAH), Southeast Laborers’ District Council, Workers Interfaith Network and Knoxville City Council Movement…

basically the state’s most left-leaning groups, sent a letter to the Governor requesting what amounts to the Pelosi/Schumer plan to steal the 2020 election among other things, also included a request for Lee to “use emergency powers to suspend specific state laws, including those that limit localities from requiring employers to provide paid sick days and repeal anti-sanctuary cities measures to ensure immigrants feel safe getting medical treatment.” 

Long before the COVID-19 pandemic hit Tennessee, there were justifiable grounds for Governor Lee to retract his state-wide consent for refugee resettlement.

Chief among the reasons was the fact that he did not comply with the directives of President Trump’s Executive Order. Instead, Bill Lee without consulting the state legislature or any county leadership, forced his personal agenda for resettling refugees on the entire state. At the First Tuesday meeting the Governor claimed that counties defer to the state’s consent for refugee resettlement. One attendee described Lee’s version as “the counties are at the mercy of the state.”

Even without Lee’s help, Nashville and Knoxville are already ranked in the top 100 cities for refugee resettlement per capita. Three days before the Governor “urged” schools to close, federal refugee contractor Bridge Refugee Services announced that they were “welcoming several new refugees families to Knoxville this month.” The State Department’s refugee resettlement reporting site, however, shows that 13 refugees resettled Nashville and 1 in Chattanooga since the date of Bridge’s announcement.

The country’s listed in the State Department report for refugees who resettled in Tennessee since March 13, come from countries “with confirmed coronavirus infections.” Too bad, Tennesseans.

According to the operative federal documents, Bill Lee’s consent for refugee resettlement was only supposed to be for June 1, 2020 through the end of the federal fiscal year, which is September 30, 2020. But Bill Lee made his consent valid for a year from December 18, 2019, the date of his consent letter to Mike Pompeo.

Now’s the time for the Governor to show Tennesseans in no uncertain terms that he puts their physical, psychological, and economic health first. Now’s the time for the Governor to live up to his ethical duties to the citizens of the state he was elected to lead.

Tennesseans, Do You Know Your Senate Candidate Yahweh Yahweh?

 

Clarification:  Please be advised Yahweh Yahweh is a female Commissioner from Gibson County TN, who is running for State Senate. The picture of the male in the white turban is the head of her affiliated organizations, whose name is Yahweh ben Yahweh. 

  As we approach critical elections this year, it is more important than ever to truly understand who candidates are. First remember, if things sound to good to be true, they are. That may be the case in Gibson County TN where a woman name Yahweh Yahweh is running for State Senate. While never claiming to be of any particular faith, her attributes listed on her Commissioner campaign page list giving back to her community, and volunteering to help those who can’t help themselves.  Wonderful.

Dig a little deeper and you will find a connection to a disturbing,  appearing to be religious, almost cultish order called The Order of the Celestial Lodge.  Led by a “King” named Yahweh ben Yahweh, who believes  “I AM THE GRAND MASTER OF THE CELESTIAL LODGE, ARCHITECT OF THE UNIVERSE, THE BLESSED AND ONLY POTENTATE, I AM THE FOUNDER OF THE PEACE MAKERS, I AM THE FOUNDER OF THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT, I’M HERE TO RE-ESTABLISH, I’M HERE TO ESTABLISH THE WILL OF MY FATHER YAHWEH, IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN, IN THE EMBODIMENT AND THE NAME OF THE HOLY GHOST YOU, “YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH, YAHWEH BEN YAHWEH BAHT YAHWEH”

As usual with groups that don’t want attention, they seek to confuse, often having several websites that link to nowhere, and alter their organization using varying names. This seems to fit this group.  Ms. Yahweh Yahweh of Tennessee, a current commissioner for Gibson County is seeking election for a State Senate position claims an affiliation to The Order of the Celestial Lodge, which holds the same address as The Celestial Federation of YAHWEH (CFY).

On Ms. Yahweh’s LinkedIn page (a professional network site) she also claims to be Supreme Elder Queen Mother Commissioner at The Kingdom of YAHWEH

The Kingdom of YAHWEH, another cultish group with a political ideology, also adores the King, Yahweh ben Yahweh. Keep in mind, Ms. Yahweh, the Commissioner from Gibson County TN professes to help her community and the poor,while her  affiliation boasts of their “Royal Crest”:

 Again, Ms. Gibson claims no stake in any religion, but does ascribe to The Order of the Celestial Lodge, (aka the Celestial Federation of Yahweh) and the Kingdom of Yahweh. Without researching, many may assume these are religious organizations, therefore believe she would be a good Senator based on her good deeds to her community. 

Using verse after verse from the Bible, with tones of Judaism, it could be misconstrued Ms. Yahweh is Christian or Jewish, however neither seems to be true. What we do know is they worship a King who resides in many cities, from Beverly Hills to Miami. They are not a religion, but are members of the UN, and consider themselves a movement. 

The bottom line, while Ms. Yahweh Yahweh may contribute to her community in a positive way, what are her true intentions? To many, her religious beliefs, or lack of, may not matter, but in today’s political climate Tennesseans need to fully understand what their candidates stand for. Research her affiliations for yourself and you be the judge.

Tennessee Dept of Education Partners with Liberal PBS..What Will Your Children Learn?

During this time of crisis throughout the U.S, schools are using various means of social media and computers to assist teachers and students stay on top of their lessons. Great idea. On March 25, 2020 the Tennessee Dept of Education announced it would be partnering with PBS to deliver “daily instructional content for Tennessee students during COVID-19 school closures”. 

If the idea is to keep up with the classroom curriculum and state standards, (in particular social studies) it will most likely bring to life white washed versions of Islam, and even more disturbing are links to Muslim Brotherhood websites. In case you are not familiar with the Muslim Brotherhood, they are designated a terrorist organization throughout many Middle Eastern countries.

As the battle to end the disproportionate amount of time spent on Islam, and the inaccuracies included in it continues in schools across the state, many of the Social Studies lesson plans contain false views and data.  One of the first lessons is on Somalis in Maine, which shows how the small town is dealing with a huge influx of foreigners, who readily admit very early in the video, they prefer to stay in their own group. Assimilation by the Somalis has been an issue for some time since they refuse to do so. This video isn’t about educating students on culture, but rather portrays residents of Lewiston ME as racists.

In another video used in a lesson plan on Islam, it features Muslim Brotherhood supporter Ingrid Mattson, who compares  Christian Evangelist Franklin Graham with Al-Aqaeda, as he spoke about the Koran being violent and urging Muslims to kill non Muslims, which it does over 109 times. Mattson was also president of the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization here in America, the Islamic Society of North America. Speaking of ISNA, students can click on their link and be taken to their website, which is filled with other Muslim Brotherhood group links. 

Looking through the Tennessee State Standards regarding the Social Studies curriculum, which, as mentioned above has been disproportionate to the study of other religions,  but is also non factual, and misleading regarding the Muslim prophet Muhammad.   Painting a picture of this prophet to be a normal, religious man is deceitful, as described in hadiths, Muhammad married a 6 year old, and consummated their relationship at 9. Why would we teach students about a pedophile in a positive light?

 

There are numerous other issues with how PBS uses lesson plans on Islam, often suggesting Muslims are victims of discrimination, and are unfairly treated in America. Perhaps these lesson plans wont be used at all, however students and educators have access to all this information at the click of a button. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise, as parents will now have a first hand look at what their kids are learning about Islam, since textbooks remain in classrooms.

The Muslim Brotherhood is not a good organization, as former President Barack Obama eluded to, but is a dangerous, violent front group here in America to change it forever. The below excerpt is taken from the Brotherhood’s own manifesto, which was presented as evidence in a federal trial in Dallas TX where members of the group we indicted for conspiracy, and funding terrorism.

Parents, use this time to look at exactly what your children are learning in public schools, and maybe that will answer the question as to why students no longer, or on few occasions are allowed to bring textbooks home. It isn’t about education, it is about indoctrination.

Are Bill Lee’s Refugees Being Screened for Coronavirus?

All those counties who either said they want refugees or refused to object to Bill Lee’s state-wide consent for importing refugees to Tennessee, might want to quickly rethink their decisions.

The Lee administration has been criticized for not readily sharing Tennessee coronavirus case information and it wouldn’t be a big stretch that if a refugee gets coronavirus, that information will never be made public.

That problem aside, think about it this way – Americans returning to the U.S. from overseas travel are being quarantined and others are self-quarantining if they think they’ve been in contact with anyone who contracted the virus.

But refugees and Afghanis and Iraqis who come on Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) and get treated like refugees in terms of access to public assistance programs, have continued to be admitted to the U.S. and Tennessee.

Remember, it’s the SIV program that Marsha wants to expand for Syrians and Kurds.

Any overseas medical testing for refugees and SIVs, is controlled by the CDC. And even though there is some apparent flex in the guidelines to test for “quarantinable, communicable diseases” which include:

“Quarantinable diseases designated by any Presidential Executive Order. Current diseases include: cholera, diphtheria, infectious tuberculosis, plague, smallpox, yellow fever, viral hemorrhagic fevers, severe acute respiratory syndromes, and influenza caused by novel or re-emergent influenza (pandemic flu).

Events that are reportable as a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) to the World Health Organization (WHO) under the International Health Regulations (IHR) of 2005 (currently polio, smallpox, SARS, influenza, and other public health emergencies of international concern.)”

As of now, there’s been no announcement or news that refugees are in fact, being screened for either exposure to or active coronavirus.

A series of articles in 2016, documented that refugees were being admitted to the U.S. with either latent or active TB, including that “one in four refugees sent to Tennessee carry tuberculosis.”

Per CDC guidelines, a refugee with active TB can get a waiver allowing them to enter the U.S.

It’s little comfort that some doctor in the U.S. is supposed to be responsible for seeing that the person gets treated after coming to the U.S., because according to the Tennessee article, Catholic Charities of Tennessee which runs the state’s refugee program, doesn’t ensure that an affected refugee actually gets the follow-up medical treatment.

Public schools, college and universities are shutting down classes. Conferences and music events are being cancelled and whole office buildings are closing up for a spell.

It’s not clear yet how or what the coronavirus spread will become in Tennessee.

What is clear though, is that even in the face of the devastation caused by the tornadoes and emerging cases of coronavirus, Bill Lee hasn’t retracted his consent to keep bringing refugees to Tennessee.

So county leaders may need to step up and do what the Governor should but isn’t doing.

Johnson City TN Man Uses Christianity To Shame Commissioners.

 

The left will stop at nothing to change America, including using their supposed “Christianity” to shame and chastise those who disagree with their ideology and methods. This all started in December of 2019, when TN Governor Bill Lee caved to social justice groups like the TN Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition(TIRRC) by re-opening the door for refugees to enter. Despite a law suit instituted by the Governors own General Assembly which objects to the federal government forcing the state to pay for the refugees, Gov Lee gave a blanket consent to accept them. Counties across the state, have used a resolution to send a clear message to the Governor they would not be accepting refugees. despite his consenting without his legislative approval. 

As the no brainer resolutions were quickly passed in many counties, leftist groups caught on and began to contact commissioners using emotions rather than facts to debate their positions. On many occasions during commission meetings, those speaking in favor of the resolution to reject refugees, were labeled anti-Christian, bigots or racists. As more counties disregarded the leftist rhetoric, groups like Indivisible and the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC) ramped up their attacks.   

In Washington County TN, one of the most egregious attempts to stop commissioners from passing the resolution is in the form of a letter from a self proclaimed Christian, Aaron Scott. In his letter titled “Christian Response to Washington County, TN Commission Resolution on Refugees” which urges Christians in  Washington County to sign it before the final vote to be held on March 23, 2020 he states:

I‘m Aaron Scott, a Christian and a resident of Johnson City. There is a pending resolution before the Washington County Commission that, if approved, will notify Governor Bill Lee and other state leaders that Washington county is opposed to accepting refugees.

As a Christian, I find this resolution to be incompatible with my faith convictions. As a member of a diverse community of neighbors and friends that includes people of different backgrounds, races and ethnicities, and faith-traditions, or of no faith, I find this resolution to be contrary to our community values. I wish to express my strong public opposition to this resolution.

I believe that most of our community members also oppose the spirit and substance of this resolution and instead wish to express that our community is hospitable and welcoming. Below is a statement of opposition I invite others to sign; a printed copy of the statement and all accompanying signatures and contact information will be presented on 3/23/20 at the Commission meeting. Names and contact information provided below will not be shared online or in person with anyone else before or after the Commission meeting and will not be used for any other purposes.

Statement of Opposition

I am a proud follower of Jesus Christ, who himself fled the threat of violence to a foreign land (Matthew 2:14) and calls his followers to love others/their neighbors as themselves (Matthew 22:39; Mark 12:31; Luke 10:27; John 13:34-35 & 15:12; Romans 13:9-10). Christian Scripture teaches that followers of God are to welcome and care for foreigners (Leviticus 19:33-34, 23:22; Deuteronomy 10:18-19, 24:19-22, & 27:19; Zechariah 7:9-10; Matthew 25; Hebrews 13:2; James 1:27).

I am a proud member of a diverse community. Our county includes people with many differing backgrounds, beliefs, races and ethnicities, and perspectives. These differences are a strength and a reflection of the beauty of our common humanity and commitment to a better world. I believe that welcoming others to join our community helps us grow and thrive economically, culturally, and spiritually.

I see no evidence that the current number of refugees or the projected future number of refugees in Washington county in the foreseeable future present an undue financial burden on our county, taxpayers, and local government entities.

I, therefore, strongly oppose the proposed resolution before the Washington County Commission that suggests that this community will not serve as a welcoming and hospitable place for refugees. I call on the commissioners of Washington county, as public servants and representatives of myself and my neighbors, to unanimously reject the proposed resolution.

For those county commissioners who would even entertain the idea this emotional debate is appropriate and should be the basis for their decision, here is a reminder. As elected officials, you have taken an oath which stated in effect

 “I do solemnly swear that I will perform with fidelity the duties of the office
to which I have been elected, and which I am about to assume. I do
solemnly swear to support the constitutions of Tennessee and the United
States and to faithfully perform the duties of the office of county
commissioner representing the __________ district of County,
Tennessee. 

Commissioners have the duty to preserve and uphold those Constitutions, not fall prey to those who chastise them for not being “Christian” enough. Commissioners also must keep in mind the states legislative body has not approved any expenditures for the refugee program, as it was suspended in 2007 after the federal government shifted the costs to the states, hence the 10th Amendment lawsuit currently in progress with the help of the Thomas E Moore Law Center, at no expense to state taxpayers.

It is men like Aaron Scott that have the audacity to suggest those not conceding to his ideology are somehow less Christian than him. It isn’t a debate over ones beliefs, but rather one over our Constitution.Period.
