Jew-Hating Demonstrators Alive & Well in Tennessee

Liora Rez, Executive director of StopAntisemitism.org puts it simply – “wherever anti-Zionism goes, anti-Semitism quickly follows.”

Nakba Day marches are now occurring across the country. ’Nakba’ is translated as “the catastrophe” and is what Palestinians label the reestablishment of the State of Israel. For anti-Israel agitators nakba day marks the supposed Zionist conspiracy to ethnically cleanse Palestine when the State of Israel was established. Not so; “[i]n reality, Nakba Day is a gross misrepresentation of history. The [Palestinian] refugees were created by the Arab Muslim desire to wage Jihad against the Jews.”

One anti-Israel protest march joined by the Nashville Peace & Justice Center (NPJC) was held in downtown Nashville on Wednesday, May 12; another organized by the Democratic Socialist of America was held in Knoxville on Saturday the 15th, and another is scheduled in Nashville for Saturday, May 21st. This one is being organized under the Samidoun umbrella by students from MTSU; NPJC is promoting it as well. These protests are not the first to take place in Tennessee, they are simply getting larger.

In 2014, Marxist Ash-Lee Henderson’s intersectionally-based anti-Jew protest was held in Chattanooga when she was an organizer with Concerned Citizens for Justice, a self-identified black liberation organization. “’We recognize that there is total intersection between what is happening to the Palestinian community overseas and what has happened with apartheid and Jim Crow to people who identify as African-American,’” said Ash-Lee Henderson, an organizer with Concerned Citizens for Justice.”

At the same time, Drost Kokoye, a co-founder and board member of Tennessee’s AMAC (American Muslim Advisory Council), in collaboration with the NPJC, led an anti-Israel counter-protest across the barricade from a pro-Israel rally.

Daoud Abudiab, another co-founder of AMAC and its first chairman, is a fellow traveler of Israel haters. Trying hard to portray himself as an interfaither with the singular agenda of creating a positive impression of Muslims through his “Our Muslim Neighbor,” (a project of Religions for Peace USA, an organization itself tied to Muslim Brotherhood organizations), Abudiab launched his Faith and Culture Center in 2014. Then his Center joined Nashville’s leftist collective to strategize with the emerging local BLM chapter. That was the same year that BLM leaders traveled to “occupied Palestine” and publicly announced their support for the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel.

Coming out of the closet in his own way, Abudiab joined the Muslim Brotherhood organizations at the inaugural USCMO conference the same year the USCMO issued its “Washington Declaration”, an initiative intended to unite a globalized Islamist political force. The USCMO was founded by every major U.S.-based Jew-hating organization including CAIR, AMP (BDS leader American Muslims for Palestine), MAS – the Muslim American Society whose founder admitted that his organization was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Following his attendance at the USCMO conference, Abudiab amplified his anti-Israelism by choosing to support FOSNA’s (Friends of Sabeel North America) agenda. FOSNA attacks Christian Zionism, promotes the BDS campaign against Israel, and has teamed up with Black 4 Palestine to bring black churches and clergy into their Israel and Jew hate efforts.

FOSNA remains on the Anti-Defamation League’s top ten list of anti-Israel organizations in the U.S.

In 2015, Daoud Abudiab chose to speak at FOSNA’s 2015 conference which in the course of pretending to be focused on a “struggle for a just peace” offered a panel discussion on BDS, a key component of which is right of return for alleged Palestinian refugees.

Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the BDS campaign made it clear in 2010, and again, more recently, that the goal of BDS and return of alleged Palestinian refugees, is to eliminate Israel. He expressly rejects a two-state solution and says that a Palestinian right of return is the way to end Israel as a Jewish state.

Not long after joining up with FOSNA, Abudiab shared his Israel animus on facebook. He posted an article titled Court Says Israel Owns Jaffa House Because Arab Family Members Left in 1948, along with his comment – “injustice ignored is never forgotten. What goes around comes around one day!”

That day arrived this week based in part on the excuse of Israel’s Supreme Court preparing to hear an appeal in a dispute over four houses in the Sheik Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem. Much like the housing dispute case posted by Abudiab, the Sheik Jarrah cases are “not about forcing [Palestinian-Arab] families from their home. [Sheik Jarrah] involves a years-long process of owners suing tenants whose leases have expired, or in a few cases, suing squatters with no tenancy rights at all; the owners are simply asking for their rent to be paid.”

Neither the timing of the “religion of peace” Ramadan period nor the truth about the housing dispute stopped Hamas and Arabs unprovoked violence against Jews. Hamas fired over a thousand missiles and rockets into Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Beersheba, Ashkelon, communities bordering on Gaza, killing Israeli citizens, wounding many others, destroying properties, setting the Trans-Israel pipeline on fire and terrorizing countless Israelis. On Monday, Hamas managed to kill 17 Palestinians with their own rockets falling short and landing in Gaza.

Along with the unprovoked missile attacks there was an escalation in Arab pogroms in Jerusalem, Lod, Jaffa, Bat Yam, Haifa, and Tiberias, destroying Jewish properties and setting fire to multiple synagogues, attacking worshipers at the Western Wall with rocks, and attempting to lynch Jewish motorists.

Back in Nashville, The Tennessean paper published a factless and arrogant op-ed about the violence in Israel and the “destruction of sacred places” written by Imam Ossama Bahloul resident scholar at the Islamic Center of Nashville. For example, Bahloul suggests that “Jewish settlers” have caused violence at the Al Aqsa mosque while deliberately ignoring the attack on Jerusalem Day celebrants with “slabs, stones and fireworks” which had been stockpiled by Palestinians at the Al Aqsa mosque for this purpose:

“Critics of Israel, and the international media, have portrayed the recent clashes on the Temple Mount, which Muslims call Haram esh-Sharif, as if Israel had attacked the mosques or violated their sanctity. In fact, Israeli riot police entered the holy site to stop Palestinians from launching new attacks from the compound after they did so after prayers on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan last week.”

2009 Murfreesboro – Bahloul protesting “war in Gaza’ in support of Hamas

Will biased media, revisionist history narratives and irrational hatred of Jews and Israel make certain places in Tennessee less safe for Jewish people? Jewish people are being openly attacked by pro-Palestinian thugs shouting Allah Akbar and BLM rioters have targeted Jewish neighborhoods. In Tennessee, AMAC’s program attacking Zionism didn’t hesitate to feature Highlander Center director Ash-Lee Henderson who is all in with BLM anti-Semitism.

How far do they plan to take it in Tennessee?

AMAC attacks Zionism

AMAC Helps Media Spread COVID Vaccine Misinformation

Nashville’s Fox17 has a long history of pandering to the Islamist community in Nashville and helping them to disseminate intentionally misleading information.

In 2014, American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) co-founder and then board member Kurdish refugee Drost Kokoye, complained to Fox 17 reporter Sky Arnold who ran a story about a pro-Israel pamphlet included at a high school cultural fair event. Of course Arnold’s “story” cast the complaining Muslims as offended victims.

Turns out however, that the pamphlet’s content was verified by multiple Middle East sources and Hillary Clinton, as being accurate.

Agitator and deceiver-in-chief Kokoye posted this anti-Semitic laced message about the allegedly offending pamphlet:

This past Easter Sunday Fox17 ran a piece by “reporter” Anthony Glover titled “Muslims in Nashville receive vaccination in show of equal distribution of vaccine.

Turns out this Fox17 piece is likewise without any factual basis. The FACT is that as of March 31, 2021, any resident of Davidson County over the age of 16, can get a COVID vaccine. In FACT, people can even go to certain pharmacies and get the free vaccine.

Sabina Mohyuddin, executive director of the hyper political organization AMAC herself admits that Muslims in the area are “hesitant” to get the vaccine, accounting for the low numbers in the Muslim community.

In February, Erika Glover, (wife of Anthony???), another Fox17 “reporter” did a piece titled “Questioning vaccine equity: Reality remains bleak for minorities in Nashville.”

Sadly for anyone who watches or reads Fox17 “news” reports, the FACTS do not support the husband and wife (?) propaganda team’s disinformation campaign.

In December 2020, months before either of the Glovers’ stories, Dr. James Hildreth, president and CEO of the historically black Meharry Medical College in Nashville, admitted that distrust of the vaccine accounts for the low COVID vaccination rates among minorities. is because they don’t trust the vaccine.

If either Glover wanted to report factually instead of trying to create a narrative of health-related racism, they could have reported about the on-going efforts by a group called Tennessee Stands which has been leading efforts to have freedom of choice regarding the COVID vaccine.

But in the agenda driven media, everyone knows that non-minority groups wanting to not be forced to take the COVID vaccine, doesn’t fit the leftist media narrative.

From its very beginning, AMAC, betted by the media, has spewed deceit and misinformation to the general public and to the Muslim community they claim to represent. Coincident with AMAC organizing, its founders, with help from the media, knowingly and deliberately issued distorted and untrue statements about a bill introduced in the state legislature.

The anti-terrorism material support bill specifically said that it only applied to individuals deliberately supporting the commission of a terrorist act and specifically stated that it did not apply to “the peaceful practice of any religion.”

The bill defined the term “sharia,” precisely the way jihadist terrorists defined it because this was a bill to prevent terrorist acts by cutting off sources of support. The bill, now a state law, prohibits using religious justification as a defense. This is the very same argument made by self-declared peaceful followers of Islam, to wit, that terrorist acts committed by ISIS jihadists or others in the name of their religion, does not represent Islam and that these terrorists are not true followers of the religion.

And yet, in keeping with standard leftist tactics, Islamist agitators and AMAC organizers, with no basis in fact, told members of their communities that legislators were trying to make following sharia a felony in Tennessee. Had AMAC organizers had any respect for the truth, they would have had to admit that supporters of this bill were actually trying to insulate peaceful religious observers from being lumped in with violent religious extremists.

As to the COVID vaccine – it’s about CHOICE, not equity.

Jewish Communities Show Anti-Evangelical Christian Film – Coming to Nashville?

A recent documentary titled “Til Kingdom Come” is being shown in Jewish film festivals sponsored by local Jewish community organizations here, here and here.

The film goes out of its way to portray American Evangelical Christians in the most unflattering way possible and send the message that their support for Israel should be rejected by Jews.

http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r5rhUNQaXY

Last week, Nashville’s Jewish community hosted speakers who consider mainstream Republicans white supremacists.

In 2015, Abbie Wolf, the Nashville Jewish Community Relations Director, published an article in the Nashville Jewish paper questioning the value of a relationship with Christian Zionists so it wouldn’t be a stretch to see this film pushed out to their viewing community. Wolf wrote:

“While Israel benefits from Christian Zionism, some members of the Jewish community have a host of questions about this fervent support. Some find the gamut of views advocated by Christian Zionists to be disquieting.

So what are some of the concerns about Christian Zionism? One is a distrust of the motives behind their support. What’s the catch, we wonder? What will they ask of us, and when? Is there an expectation of quid pro quo? If it’s support for their domestic agenda they seek, that would be challenging. For example, on many issues like maintaining a strong wall between church and state, we tend to part ways.

Another concern is that Christian support of Israel comes at the expense of our ultimate survival as a people. We fear their support is grounded in Christian biblical prophecy. If their support for Israel is based on their belief that the ingathering of Jews in Israel is a prerequisite for the End of Days, where does that ultimately leave the Jewish people? Further, many believe we must exercise caution in dealing with Messianic Jews – Christians who consider Jews who haven’t accepted Jesus to be ‘incomplete.’

Still others in our community feel that Christian support for Israel comes at the expense of the Muslim community, both here and abroad. Some Christian Zionists’ views are strongly rooted in the belief that there are no moderate Muslims and that Islam is a faith rooted in violence. This broad-brushing of Islam doesn’t consider Muslims who want nothing more than peace for their families and communities.”

To round out the cynical views of Israeli filmmaker Maya Zinshtein, the anti-Trump message is included because as everyone knows, President Trump was the worst thing ever to happen to Jews and their ancestral homeland Israel. Viewed through Zinshtein’s lens, the sole reason Trump moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and endorsed Israeli sovereignty over the security strategic Golan Heights, was to snare the votes of America’s large Evangelical voting bloc.

The German funded internet portal Qantara, designed to “promote dialogue with the Islamic world,” has also reviewed the entire film. They note that Zinshtein likely had “unique access” to her film’s subjects simply because she is from “the Promised Land.”

Most revealing is the reviewer’s impression that “Zinshtein is evidently irritated by this unqualified love for her country. Yet the leaders of the Evangelical movement who feature in the film don’t seem the slightest bit interested in her critical distance to Israel, which she makes absolutely no effort to hide at any point during the film.”

Zinshtein also appears to be warring against Trump supporting Jews, using her medium to further divide Jewish communities:

“Among other things, Zinshtein filmed during a gala dinner where money was being raised for the IDF. The dinner was attended by billionaire Sheldon Adelson, who has supported both Netanyahu and Trump with huge sums of money. On that evening, Eckstein told Adelson that Jewish communities around the world are not growing, but that evangelical communities are.

The message is crystal clear: pro-Israeli Christians – some of whom refer to themselves as “Zionist Christians” – are much more important allies for Israel’s nationalists than Jewish communities around the world, most of which are liberal and are more critical of this one-sided support than all other religious communities in the USA.”

Political commentator and anti-Trumper Michael Medved spared no criticism of the film – describing it as “hopelessly one-sided,” relentlessly cynical,” and “profoundly misleading.”

The supposed draw for why liberal and leftist Jewish groups would show this film is to show that the mix of conservative politics, support for President Trump’s MidEast policies, and Evangelical “end of times” prophecy, where supposedly 2/3 of Jews are killed and 1/3 convert to Christianity, does not serve the best interest of Jews in the U.S. or Israel.

Nashville’s Jewish community takes a protectionist approach in their relationship with the anti-Zionist Muslim organization AMAC despite the fact that Jews don’t fare any better under the Islamic end of times; in fact neither do Christians – “He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam.”

Palestinian Islamic scholar Mraweh Nassar, stated in a February interview that “Jews were ‘the most dangerous enemies’” and that “Muslims will experience a golden age ‘after the Jews are killed, in the time of Jesus.’”

Nashville Jewish Community Hosts Speaker Who Says Mainstream Republicans are White Supremacists

On Thursday, February 11th, at a not-so-thinly-veiled-anti-Trump event, the Nashville Jewish Social Justice Roundtable and Jewish Federation held a virtual event titled “Fighting White Supremacy: From Charlottesville to Capitol Hill.

The panel of speakers, hosted by Nashville Jewish community suggested you are a white supremacist if you oppose illegal immigration, BLM and Antifa violence, support the idea that all lives matter, and/or support former Pres. Donald Trump.

Spitalnick’s allegedly “non-partisan” group IFA, is backing a lawsuit that uses conspiracy theory law to sue individuals described as white supremacists, neo-Nazi anti-Semites and members of hate groups” involved in the Charlottesville “Unite the Right” 2017 rally. The lawsuit intends to shut down and deter hate group activity by “dismantling and bankrupting these groups and their leaders.”

Assuming the lawsuit results in monetary judgments, Spitalnick says they will destroy these people financially and “for the rest of our defendants lives we will be following them around to collect [the judgements]” by putting liens on their homes, garnishing their wages and seizing any other assets they own, as a way of deterring future white supremacy driven violence.

Throughout her presentation, Spitalnick, a former advisor and spokesperson for NYC Mayor bill deBlasio, draws parallels between Charlottesville’s lawsuit defendants and the “insurrectionists” at the Capitol riot on January 6th. She explains that white supremacy, anti-Semitism and racism, emanate from what she calls White Replacement Ideology – the fear by the white supremacist that their dominance will be replaced by minority groups in the U.S. is  being threatened. Spitalnick considers white supremacy to be a problem of crisis proportions, endemic to the mainstream right which uses “far right social media site Gab,” to communicate.

Spitalnick lists “horrific attacks” including the shootings at Poway synagogue in San Diego, the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh and the mosque shooting in New Zealand, as examples of the violence she attributes to “white race replacement ideology” beginning at minute 37:00:

“our fates are so intrinsically intertwined here in that you can’t take on white supremacy without taking on islamophobia. You cant take on white supremacy without taking on anti-semitism. You can’t take on racism without taking on any of these other forms of hate.  And I mentioned earlier [white] replacement theory which is the ideology that motivates so much of this extremism that we’ve seen.  This is something that percolates to the surface when you see horrific attacks like the ones I mentioned.  It sort of manifests in this very explicit form where you hear them chanting things like Jews will not replace us. This is the idea that jews are the puppet masters orchestrating the replacement of the white race, supporting Muslim Americans, supporting Black Americans and the Latinx community and the LGBTQ community and immigrants and refugees and anyone who doesn’t fit into the vile narrow vision for what these white supremacists want this country to be. So you see it in these very explicit and egregious terms when it happens in the form of those attacks but this is also an ideology that we see manifesting increasingly in the mainstream of the right in a variety of ways and so when you hear dog whistles like George Soros supporting the Black Lives Matter protests or supporting a caravan coming up through Central America or any of the other dog whistles that we hear from increasingly mainstream republicans and other leaders that is the same white supremacist ideology that ultimately culminates in the sorts of egregious violent attacks we’re talking about here.”

Spitalnick says this is a CRISIS! But it’s one that she claims the lawsuit can address, stopping hate and violence, without doing harm to Constitutionally protected speech. In reality, the First Amendment damage and censorship will be accomplished using strategies discussed in another virtual meeting discussed below which include financial bludgeoning, leaning on social media sites to continue de-platforming efforts and going after web hosting and domain registration companies to shut down sites groups on the left dont like.

In other words, organized censorship.

IFA is reported to have raised over $10 million dollars to support the lawsuit which Spitalnick has said is “critical, especially because the government during the Trump administration has rolled back efforts to track and prevent white supremacist violence.” She states, The infrastructure thats meant to address this sort of thing has actively been dismantled.”

The week before Spitalnick’s event in Nashville

One week prior to the Nashville event, Spitalnick participated with representatives from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Southern Poverty Law Center in a virtual event titled, “White Supremacy and far-right extremism: is the Capitol siege the end of the beginning?”

These organizations actively work to censor dissenting voices. They are expanding this mission by using a broadbrushed label of white supremacist to effectively erase any and all opposition to their agenda.

When asked why certain groups like the Proud Boys and QAnon adherents were drawn to the January 6th Capitol event, the ADL’s director of its Center on Extremism said these groups see themselves as fighting against liberal forces “that seek their demise and threaten their existence” and that they “perceive Donald Trump as the embodiment of their savior, basically the warrior who’s going to help protect their future and their values.”

As to Christian groups? They peddle fear of the “End Times” and the end of western white Christian society.

Eric Ward from the SPLC claimed that their driving narrative was the stolen election.  He believes that the protesting groups wanted our system of democracy overthrown and an authoritarian ruler (his reference to Trump), installed in its place.

Spitalnick reiterates her script about white supremacy and violent extremism and that there “is a direct line that runs from Charlottesville through these other attacks to January 6th.” While she did not deny the hate, racism and anti-Semitism on the left, she was adamant that there is “no equivalency” between the far-right and the far-left extremists.

She believes that the CRISIS and greatest threat to our country is the far-right extremism.  The people who caused what she and leftists have labeled an “insurrection” came from the right and is in the mainstream right. Her “evidence” is a far left news report that members of the GOP caucus gave a standing ovation to Majorie Taylor Greene. In typical leftist fashion, Spitalnick deliberately omits, that as reported, the standing ovation by some members of the caucus came after Greene apologized for embracing the QAnon conspiracy theory and some of her other controversial remarks.

This group took more time to focus on the “weaponization of technology” that is, the role of social media enabling hate groups to indoctrinate and recruit adherents and spread their hate speech. Spitalnick has signaled repeatedly that social media is necessarily implicated in the IFA lawsuit and greater repression of speech on these platforms will be sought under the guise of accountability for enabling the spread of disinformation and enabling the spread of extremist violence.

Along with leaning on social media sites to de-platform groups and individuals they consider sources of hate, they discussed going after web hosting and domain registration companies to shut down the sites that those on the left don’t like.

Typical deception by leftists on the Nashville panel and more

While peddling the CRISIS theme and talk of right wing extremist hate and violence, the Nashville panelists blatantly ignore the hate, violence and wanton destruction on the left. Given that they were sponsored by virtually every Jewish group and congregation in Nashville, they hypocritically ignored the virulent anti-Semitism on the left from BLM, AMAC and the co-director of the Highlander Center who is also a leader in the Movement 4 Black Lives.

Sabina Mohyuddin, AMAC’s executive director and founding member, is a stunning example of leftist duplicity.  She claims that Muslims in America have been the real victims of 9-11 who have had to “endure” the hatred of white supremacy-driven Islamophobia (which  she labels anti-Muslim racism) for years.

Using the socialist “intersectionality theory of connecting groups in a common struggle, Mohyuddin says she can’t complain about Islamophobia unless she also speaks out “forcefully” against anti-Semitism and anti-black racism.  Struggle is a word she would know well as it is the definition of jihad in Arabic.

Mohyuddin’s organization, AMAC, had already signed onto “intersectionality” but made sure to conceal its anti-Semitism under the cover of anti-Zionism. In 2016, AMAC hosted an event with Linda Sarsour was the featured speaker.  Sarsour is among the country’s most vocal anti-Semites who refuses to say that Israel has a right to exist. She is also a leading proponent of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment & Sanction (BDS) movement, otherwise known as the new anti-Semitism because it is a driver of hatred and violence against Jews.

In 2018, AMAC sponsored a program titled “Linking Liberation Struggles” featuring their own vocal anti-Semite founder and board member, Drost Kokoye, and active BDS promoter, Highlander Center co-director, Ash-Lee Henderson. And for years, AMAC board members and leaders have had a close relationship with super Jew-hater Ilhan Omar.

After slandering members of the Nashville community who write and speak about Political Islam, (basically the way political scientists objectively analyze how factors such as certain institutions and practices affect public life), Mohyuddin says she is anxious to go after “the players” she identified.

Amy Spitalnick began her tour of Nashville’s Trump-hating leftists with Samar Ali’s Millions of Conversations which ironically includes a pledge to listen to others with differing opinions. Spitalnick’s “Hate and Extremism” event with Samar Ali was billed as a way to move to a more “united America.” This is the same Samar Ali who helped get a Metro council candidate elected despite her public embrace of anti-Semites.

Her IFA-backed lawsuit is scheduled for a three week trial in beginning in October 2021.

The take-way . . .

So according to IFA and its supporters, you’re a white supremacist Islamophobe if you oppose illegal immigration or BLM rioters who attack street-side diners, or believe that all lives matter or that it’s a problem when Antifa mobsters burn down cities and physically attack police and bystanders. And you’re definitely a white supremacist, no matter what your color, if you voted for Trump.

Sponsors of the this event are listed in the even flyer. The director of the Nashville Jewish Federation, Eric Stillman can be reached at eric@jewishnashville.org

TN Highlander Center Director All in With BLM Anti-Semitism – part 7

The United States Commission on Civil Rights has stated, that “anti-Semitic bigotry is no less morally deplorable when camouflaged as anti-Israelism or anti-Zionism.”

Tennessee Highlander Center director Ash-Lee Henderson and Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder, Patrisse Cullors are both vocal promoters of the Israel-hating campaign known as BDS (boycott, divestment & sanctions).

The anti-Israel BDS campaign attacks Zionism, the movement that helped to establish the State of Israel.  Martin Luther King Jr., often cited by progressives as a symbol for social justice, understood that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. As he said, “When people criticize Zionist, they mean Jews. You are talking anti-Semitism.”

BDSers want to eliminate the democratic state of the Jewish people.   For this reason, rallying BDS’ers use chants like “from the river to the sea Palestine will be free” which means there would be no Israel or Jews between the Jordan River and Mediterranean. The Jew-hating BDS campaign against Israel is, without question, the new anti-Semitism.

Cullors’ anti-Jew wokeness was ignited after joining a 2014 junket to the West Bank led by Ahmad Abuznaid, a Palestinian-American who has convinced black Americans who hate both the police and the U.S., that their grievances align with Palestinians who hate Israel and its Jews.

Ash-Lee started her anti-Jew campaign in 2014, in Chattanooga when she was an organizer with Concerned Citizens for Justice, a self-identified black liberation organization whose goal was to end white supremacy in Chattanooga.

In December 2016, shortly before being named co-director of the Highlander Center Ash-Lee Henderson took a solidarity trip to what she described as “occupied” Palestine. “Going through checkpoints, seeing rubber bullets, reminds us what our comrades and some of us experienced in Ferguson, [and] IDF soldiers totally remind me of the cops that brutalized [me].”

According to Ash-Lee one of the trip’s highlights was spending time with the Afro-Palestinian, admitted terrorist Ali Jiddah, a former member of the radical Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The man she lauded as the “elder of the African village in Jerusalem’s Old City” was imprisoned in Israel for 17 years after planting four hand grenades which injured multiple people. He was released from prison as part of a prisoner swap and in a later interview, admitted to his crime.

Typical of radical leftists’ fake wokeness, Cullors and Ash-Lee ignore the fact that Palestinians still use the Arabic slur “abeed” (slave) to refer to Afro-Palestinians like Jiddah.

The same year Ash-Lee became anti-Jew woke, she received a formal promotion to the policy table leadership team of the Movement 4 Black Lives (M4BL), the revolutionary umbrella group for black activist organizations including BLM. M4BL advances its own form of racism and its hate of America and white people through policy platforms including one titled “Invest-Divest,” the first version of which labelled Israel an apartheid state.

After unexpected push-back, M4BL tried to conceal its lies about Israel by moving all anti-Israel language to a white paper titled “Cut Military Expenditures” now linked to the M4BL policy platform on invest-divest which claims that Israel is an apartheid state, is “complicit in the genocide taking place against the Palestinian people”, that homes of Palestinians and land “are routinely bulldozed to make way for illegal Israeli settlements”,  and that “Israeli soldiers also regularly arrest and detain Palestinians as young as 4 years old without due process. Everyday, Palestinians are forced to walk through military checkpoints along the US funded apartheid wall.”

Of course there is no mention that Israel’s security wall has decreased deaths from suicide bombers.

Ash-Lee has joined with other anti-Jew groups like Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA) which opposes Christian Zionism and pushes the BDS campaign in U.S. churches. She has also joined forces with Ahmad Abuznaid to keep pushing their anti-Israel vitriol.

Ash-Lee has also adopted BDSer’s favorite death-to-Israel slogan – “from the river to the sea…” and wearing the black and white keffiyah popularized by the “father of modern terrorism”, Yasser Arafat.

Founding board member of Tennessee’s American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) Drost Kokoye, was among the first Islamists to openly support the BDS campaign. It wasn’t long before AMAC featured Linda Sarsour, among the most vocal anti-Semites in the U.S., at an AMAC event. This was followed by then AMAC chair Zulfat Suara, publicly embracing Jew-haters Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

Sarsour says she has been “deeply involved” in the BLM movement and was heavily praised by BLM co-founder Alicia Garza in a recent virtual interview. Recall, that Ash-Lee and Garza have a particularly close relationship.

Ash-Lee and Linda Sarsour serve together on the advisory board of the Philanthropic Initiative for Racial Equity an organization pushing to move more foundation funding to groups led by “people of color.”

In 2019, BLM’s Cullors was named the Executive Director and Board President of the BLM Global Network Foundation. Cullors now sits on the multi-million dollar BLM war chest and is the media go-to person to speak for BLM. Cullors has doubled down on BLM’s embrace of the BDS campaign – “[w]e realized we [BLM activists] needed to take our solidarity [with the BDS campaign] a step further. We had to be more public.”

Three Jew-haters with access to bottomless BIG money – what could go wrong?

Bill Lee’s Administration Joins BLM Culture War

The TN Council on Children and Youth (TCCY), its nine regional council members and anyone else that wants to participate, will access a free webinar on checking their white privilege.

The “free” webinar “Cultural Collisions” addressing “cultural competency” is being paid for by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS). This is the second webinar in a series on implicit bias and racial equity.

The third and final webinar is titled “Lets Talk Race.” The training objectives include “a safe and carefully led conversation about the history of slavery in the United States and its inevitable impact in present day”…and “the impact of racial constructs in legislation, policies, practices, and cultural identity.”

TDMHSAS Commissioner Marie Williams was originally appointed by Haslam and was reappointed by Bill Lee in January 2019.

The goal of “cultural competency” is to help white people understand and acknowledge their implicit biases across a wide range of issues which can include race, class, gender sexual orientation, sexual identity, religion, weight, discrimination and the mother of them all according to BLM, white privilege.

Last year, Williamson County teachers were shown a “Cultural Competency” video series as part of professional development, one of which addressed white privilege and how it causes “unintentional bias.”

The free webinar for Tennessee employees and TCCY council members addressing “cultural competency” includes free “CEUs” (continuing education units required to retain certain practice licenses), a sure draw for anyone needing the credits. Guest speaker Pastor Edward Palmer is a certified diversity trainer who has previously provided his course to Tennessee departments. He’s back for a repeat visit. Palmer’s focus area is juvenile justice systems.

Palmer and his wife co-pastor at The Sign of the Dove Church International located in Radcliff, Kentucky. From his bio:

“He is a Certified Diversity Trainer and works to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities within the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.  He most recently became a certified Racial and Ethnic Disparities Capstone Project Fellow through the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University.”

Palmer has a single entry on his blog, entitled, What is Race?

Race is a social construct used by some as an indicator of inferiority or superiority. Race as a social construct influences how individuals are perceived and treated by others and systems within society. Since as early as and even before the 1500s, the pseudoscientific idea that race defines who is less intelligent, less capable and of less value to humanity has been used to justify the violent, demeaning and harsh treatment of people on the bases of skin color….

Because the consequences are real, race will continue to matter until we debunk and deconstruct the idea of race and the systems that have used this ideology to discriminate and depress people of the perceived minority group.

It is a laudable mission for resources to be directed to struggling and vulnerable children, young adults and their families. Successful interventions serve the larger community but the timing of this diversity training is highly suspect and too many actions are being justified under the COVID intervention umbrella.

The August TN Commission on Children and Youth (TCCY) newsletter includes the Commission’s statement on racial justice with the view that Tennessee is a racist state:

Another TCCY August newsletter focused on federal updates includes links to ultra-left Center for American Progress COVID information, the left-leaning Urban Institute which more often than not, pushes a progressive policy agenda, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation which was a key funder of groups pushing Obamacare and has made grants to the Clinton Foundation.

To round it out, the TCCY federal update newsletter included a link to this anti-Trump piece put out by the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities, another group “widely regarded as being aligned with progressive and liberal positions.”

The TCCY is a state agency funded with public money and should not be using its access to state-wide employees to share its own overt political bias.

No More State Money For the San Fran on the Cumberland

Nashville’s far left mayor and city council are working overtime to be the San Francisco of the South.

“Our Revolution – Nashville & Mid TN” is intimately involved trying to spread the insurrection and overthrow of Nashville outward. They endorsed and helped get elected former American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) and socialist, Zulfat Suara, to the Metro Nashville Council.

While Suara was leading AMAC, her former co-chair and AMAC co-founder Daoud Abudiab was leading TIRRC (TN Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition), and both groups joined with Black Lives Matter to “strategize, dream and build [their] movement for 2016.”

And there is very little in their way to stop Nashville’s full transformation.

In fact, a legitimate argument can be made that Bill Lee and his leadership SNAFUs is abetting Nashville’s agenda.

For starters, when Tennessee’s COVID lockdowns began, Bill Lee decided to give Nashville’s far left mayor free reign to do whatever he wanted. Predictably, Mayor Cooper followed other Democrat run cities and put Nashville on a seemingly perpetual lockdown.

Except of course when it was time to host a mass protest and invite all elected officials to attend – no social distancing required!

Cooper was cautioned by other leaders that similar protests in other blue cities had in short order, turned violent and destructive. Neither Cooper nor Metro police were prepared for the inevitable which wasn’t hard to predict especially since the Metro police department has been effectively neutered and is now under the thumb of the anti-police-pro-open-borders special interest groups running the Community Oversight Board (COB).

AMAC was an aggressive proponent of the charter amendment that made the anti-police COB a formal and $1 million dollar funded arm of the Metro Nashville government. AMAC board member Drost Kokoye was a lead organizer against police while she attended UT Knoxville.

Cop haters policing the police combined with low pay has put Metro’s police force at over a 100 person deficit.

Protest organizer Prophetess Venita Lewis admitted that the violence, and wanton destruction is “happening all across the county. The protests are not gonna end peacefully” and that “the rioting will not stop when associated with Floyd’s death.”

Bill Lee stood back and watched while Nashville was looted and burned waiting until Cooper asked for help.

In November 2019, the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office reviewed and rejected Nashville’s budget, threatening to take over if the city couldn’t figure out how to address the years of irresponsible over-spending. According to the Comptroller, “Metro’s expenses have outpaced the city’s revenue growth since 2013, according to Wilson. To accommodate those increasing expenses, city leaders have been depleting Metro’s available cash and reserve funds, which are down 24% and 16% respectively.”

Then came the March tornadoes and COVID followed by the BLM protest turned riot.

Between 2015 and 2020, the state has given Metro Nashville $99,581,919 in fast track economic development grants. In 2017 and 2018, the state rewarded the out-of-control and irresponsible spending and illegal-alien-protectionist government in Davidson County with over $28 million dollars to recruit Philips North America and Alliance Bernstein.

Cooper’s 32% property tax increase isn’t going to exempt people who’ve been and may still be out of work since his COVID lockdown started. Nor will it exempt people whose home or business was destroyed by the tornadoes. Nor is Cooper’s tax increase going to exempt the 30 business owners whose properties were vandalized by the protest rioters.

Is there any rational reason that any more state economic development funding should be given to Nashville? Does spending more state tax dollars to help the San Fran on the Cumberland benefit the state in any conceivable way?

No. But the decision to steer the economic development money to Nashville comes from the administration, not the legislature.

So San Fran on the Cumberland probably has nothing to worry about. Remember, the state’s chief executive officer, aka, the governor, had no problem sending money to the campaigns of leftists Megan Barry, Karl Dean and Phil Bredesen or rushing to meet with AMAC.

Laylatul-Qadr… Was This Why Muslim Terror Attack Occurred in Texas?

As America is focused on a virus and the effects of its lock down, Muslim terrorists are still among us waiting for the call to kill, which is what occurred yesterday, May 21 at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Adam Salim Alsahli, supposedly a US citizen originally from Syria, open fired as he crashed through a security gate on the base, injuring one. Alsahli was shot and killed, but a second suspect has not been located at this time.

What could turn out to be significant, is the date this attack occurred. As the month of Ramadan winds down into its last 10 days, it is known that Laylatul Qadar or the “Night of Power” falls on an odd numbered day during those final days. The Night of Power is the most important of the days in Ramadan to Muslims as that is when the Angel Gabriel first revealed the Quran to the prophet Muhammad, which is declared here in Sura 97.

Any good deed performed on this night is more powerful than that of any other time, and also where all sins are forgiven. What follows next in the Quran in Sura 98 though, shows the violence the Quran promotes to those who are non- believers.

Alsahli’s twitter account shows his belief in the Mujaheddin, or the fighters, jihadis against non believers.

Many of the video on Alsahli’s Twitter and Instagram accounts also confirm his belief in the fight against non- believers. So now, there are many more questions regarding his connection to Al Qaida, and the Pensacola Florida terrorist, Mohammed Alshamrani  who also was connected to Al Qaida.  In 2017, ISIS declared that Muslims should use the month of Ramadan to attack, as the rewards for jihad and death during this month is multiplied.

So while many Americans continue to be complacent and many more are smitten by the Muslim community, the message one needs to understand is if a Muslim follows the life of their prophet Muhammad, and obeys the Suras in the Quran, jihad will continue, and escalate. Pandemics and lock downs don’t stop jihad.

Does Muslim Holy Month Garner More Attention Than Christian Or Jewish Ones?

On the holiest day of the year for Christians, Easter Sunday, churches were eerily empty, with congregations forced to stay at home due to a virus, and restrictions that don’t allow 10 or more  people to gather. While some pastors broke those guidelines, and faced arrest, many others were harassed by state police officers taking vehicle license plate information as they chose to attend services. Easter Sunday for millions was instead celebrating alone in their homes watching streaming or televised services. The day passed quietly, leaving many sad and unfulfilled.

On April 24, Muslims began their month-long observation of Ramadan, and they want to be sure everyone knows it. While mosques will remain closed, Muslims in many large cities have sought, and received noise permits, so that the Adhan, or call to prayer could be broadcast across communities. Jacob Frey, the Mayor of Minneapolis was the first to embrace the idea, as Muslims in the Cedar Riverside community, along with CAIR ( Council on American Islamic Relations aka Hamas) requested the executive order to permit prayers to be heard over loud speakers, 5 times a day.

Sounding more like a political statement, the author of an article by Dr. Michael Van Keulen printed in the Star Tribune, states “I believe that this is a moment when we are called to our democratic principles. I encourage all of us to not be distracted by fearmongering or hate speech. The call to prayer is no more a sign of a religion taking over than those beautiful church bells I have heard for years. Our nation is strong enough to value and include our diversity. Our people are strong enough to ensure that all can live with dignity. Accepting that this is a year that challenges our sense of community, I hope that in the end, this time results a greater and more inclusive nation.”  Church bells ringing hardly are hardly the same than a prayer being recited in public.

As if that weren’t enough, NYC will be supplying 500,000 halal (permissible) food to Muslims for the entire month of Ramadan: About 400,000 Halal meals will be distributed at 32 Department of Education buildings and another 100,000 will be served through community organizations during the month. Mayor Bill DeBlasio had this to say about these meals “One of Ramadan’s most noble callings is to feed the hungry,” de Blasio said during a Thursday news briefing. “To remember to be there for those in need. And that is now harder than ever now that people can’t go to their mosques.”

While this program overall serves kosher food as well, it is a program many cities have to feed those in need during this pandemic, but not specifically for a month-long religious event.  As CAIR ( Council on American Islamic Relations aka Hamas) continues to publicize their bogus reports of Muslims being oppressed and discriminated against, it is clear, they are not at all but rather just the opposite. For years now, many businesses, schools and organizations have issued guidelines for recognizing Muslim holy days, dictating what to do and not do while their Muslim employees or students practice their faith, including fasting during Ramadan.  In this article in the Business Insider, it suggests “But don’t make jokes about your colleague not having coffee or eating lunch, either.” as that would be offensive.

As if the month of April has not had any other highly religious holy days, the Tennessean published an article “How one Brentwood family is adapting their Ramadan traditions during the COVID-19 crisis”. The article picturing a doctor with his family on their mansions front stairs, while Nashville Scene features another article, “Nashville’s Muslim Community Prepares for a Ramadan Unlike Any Other”.

By all appearances, it seems many news outlets are smitten with the Muslim community, promoting them to be somehow more pious or affected by this virus than others.  Muslims have created this false sense of importance, that they are the only ones that are making sacrifices during this crisis. Yet were there massive efforts to feed needy Christians during the holy week of Easter or Jews for Passover? Were Christians allowed to hear sermons over loud speakers  in their neighborhoods during their holy week? Did newspapers send reporters to Christians homes to see how they were affected by celebrating the joys of Easter alone in their homes?  Do businesses and schools have specific guidelines to address what their Christians and Jewish employees and students can and cannot do during their holy days? You be the judge.

If one thing can be learned by this, is Muslims in America are not oppressed, discriminated against or harassed like they claim, but rather are placed on pedestals that promote them as a special class somehow more worthy of acknowledgement, and if treated differently, CAIR will be knocking on your door with lawsuit papers in hand.

Muslim Women Excited Others Are Wearing “Face Coverings”

The New Normal?

Once again, in an effort to legitimize their oppression by their so-called religion, Muslim women are ecstatic non-Muslim women are wearing masks during the Corona virus crisis. In an article recently published by the “Conversation” website, Muslim women across the UK and United States were interviewed regarding masks. “There’s a marked difference to the way I’m being perceived. Nobody is giving me dirty looks because of my gloves and the covered face,” said a woman I’ll call Afrah, from the the U.K., in a Facebook Messenger chat. “Everyone suddenly understands it!”

The article goes on to say how non-Muslim women are now seeking out typical Muslim garb, as fashion statements to protect against the corona virus. What non-Muslim women don’t get is Muslim women are forced to wear niqabs, burqas, and other oppressive face coverings as their obeyance to their god, as a form of modesty. While Muslim women like to say they wear it for that reason, if they are true Muslims, they conform to Sharia law,the Quran, and the Hadiths, all which demands they cover themselves .

“O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known  so as not to be annoyed.”

 Quran 33:59

The Council on America Islamic Relations (CAIR) Jamal Badawi,  also a known member of the Muslim Brotherhood, who is viewed  as a ‘moderate’ scholar, insists that the hijab is “a command of Allah to Muslim women” and it should be “the duty of the state” to enforce it.

In 2017, al-Azhar university in Egypt, the home of many Muslim Brotherhood scholars,  decreed that the veil was compulsory for Muslim women… and not even open for debate: “It is not acceptable that anyone from the public or non-specialized people, regardless of their culture, to voice their opinions on the matter.” Can anyone seriously claim that the leading Sunni institution in the world doesn’t understand Islam?

While American women like to think they are the bastions of feminism, and freedom to wear what they want, complimenting and duplicating the Muslim look is re-enforcing, and legitimizing oppression. Non Muslim woman need to think twice before donning veils, under the guise of preventing a disease from spreading, but rather educate themselves as to why Muslim women must wear them. Aiding in the injustices against Muslim women is never a good thing.
