CAIR and Its Tennessee School Problem.

On Nov 19, 2010,  a federal court ruling on the status of the Council On America Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other Muslim Brotherhood organizations being designated co conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial was unsealed.

U.S District Court  Judge Jorge Solis, in Dallas TX cited there was “ample evidence” that CAIR participated in a “criminal conspiracy” led by the Holy Land Foundation, Hamas’s main fundraising arm in the U.S.

So why, 9 years later is this important? CAIR , in its continued effort to insinuate its ideology via intimidation and frivolous lawsuits , is once again attempting to strong arm school boards to include false and misleading information on Islam in our textbooks.

As CAIR rants about any criticism being “Islamophobic”, Americans need to know who CAIR is, which in turn, will then shed light on why CAIR wants to silence critics by using the term Islamophobia.

In 2007, U.S. prosecutors first named CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator in a criminal scheme led by the Holy Land Foundation to funnel more than $12 million to Hamas suicide bombers and their families. A jury in 2008 convicted the charity and its leaders on all 108 felony counts.  Then assistant U.S. Attorney Jim Jacks stated “CAIR has been identified by the government at trial as a participant in an ongoing and ultimately unlawful conspiracy to support a designated terrorist organization – a conspiracy from which CAIR never withdrew”

In preparation for the Holy Land Foundation trial, the FBI raided homes of known Hamas members  which resulted in a treasure trove of documents which included a plan for the eventual take over of America titled “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America”, which was presented, and accepted into evidence in this trial.

Nihad Awad

Other documents introduced by the government showing CAIR and its founding chairman Omar Ahmad have operated as key members of Hamas’ U.S. wing, known as the “Palestine Committee.” In addition, FBI wiretaps and agent testimony have placed both Ahmad and CAIR’s acting executive director – Nihad Awad – at a secret meeting 2 decades ago with Hamas leaders in Philadelphia. Meeting in a hotel room, participants hatched a scheme to disguise payments to Hamas suicide bombers and their families as charity.

 Stop. Read that again.

CAIR’s acting executive director – Nihad Awad – at a secret meeting 2 decades ago with Hamas leaders in Philadelphia. Meeting in a hotel room, participants hatched a scheme to disguise payments to Hamas suicide bombers and their families as charity.

This is the same Nihad Awad who publicly urged Muslims in Tennessee to attend a school board meeting on April 2 in Sullivan County Tennessee to face “Islamophobic opposition”.

This is also the same Nihad Awad who claims he is “a supporter of the Hamas movement”. Hamas is a designated terrorist organization here in the U.S.

This isn’t about fair representation of Islam in public school textbooks.

This is about power, infiltration and indoctrination.

The following, which is most revealing and threatening, is an excerpt from the above mentioned “Explanatory Memorandum” that was used as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation trial.

On March 26 2019, in a landmark case in California, CAIR was removed from its association with the San Diego Unified School System, after CAIR was found to be running a discriminatory, unconstitutional propaganda program in its schools.

According to this Clarion Project article, the program in question gave Muslim students special privileges and gave CAIR the power to change the district curriculum to make sure Islam was looked upon more favorably. Sound familiar?

CAIR came to Tennessee to silence Jane Thomas, a Board of Education member who opposed specific false information in the “My World” textbook.  Muslims want you to believe their god is the same as the Christian God. Mrs. Thomas disagrees, and CAIR wants her hushed.  CAIR wants no opposition to their version of religion, despite the facts presented within their own doctrine.  While Allah may mean god in Arabic, Allah is not the Christian God, yet Muslims are determined to make you believe it is.

CAIR came to Tennessee to accuse Jane Thomas of being Islamophobic, and to make sure those present at the meeting would isolate her, and after seeing her being publicly chastised, they would be afraid to support her , or speak out.

CAIR, who is designated an un-indicted co conspirator  in funding Hamas suicide bombers to kill people, and then paying their families as gratitude, has no place in our country, let alone deciding what the curriculum is in our own schools.

Don’t be concerned with what Jane Thomas says, be concerned a foreign, corrupt organization wants her silenced.

TN Gov’s Education Initiative: Education or Indoctrination Part 3

Governor Bill Lee’s investment in STEM-focused early college and career experiences supports the Tennessee Department of Education’s Tennessee Pathways” Certification process, as well as the STEM School Designation partnership with groups like Tennessee STEM Innovation Network and Code.org.

If the previous information in part one and two are not enough focus on diversity for you.. consider Code.org and their emphasis on women and minorities!

Code.org is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities.

And while their company’s leadership is certainly competent on the topic of coding and computer science. are they people we should trust considering the firms that some of them represent?

These are just some of the companies involved with Code.org as well as their donors.

                                                                                         10 million dollar donors

                                                                                                   3 million dollar donors

Code.org has received $12 million in new funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Chan Zuckerburg Initiative  and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.   The majority of these donors espouse liberal views supporting open borders, and a global agenda.

Surely in Tennessee we can develop a STEM program including computer science without indoctrinating our kids and pushing a politically correct agenda! This is not what we need to be spending $4million on!

TN Gov’s Education Initiative: Education or Indoctrination Part 2

The following are just some examples from the introduction and the Executive Summary that show the federal governments intent to be heavily involved in STEM and how they intend to use grants to
further their objectives.

Although  pre K-12 education in the United States is primarily a State, local, and Tribal responsibility, the Federal Government plays an important role in fostering educational excellence, including supporting and disseminating the latest discoveries on what works in teaching and learning and facilitating equal access.

Foster STEM Ecosystems that Unite Communities STEM ecosystems engage educators and individuals within and outside a formal educational setting, and include, among others, families; school districts; State, local, and Tribal governments; the Federal Government and Federal facilities; libraries; museums and science centers; community colleges, technical schools, and universities; community groups and clubs; foundations
and nonprofits; faith based organizations; and businesses.

STEM ecosystems focus on long-term, shared, sustainable, and flexible STEM missions that bridge, integrate, and strengthen the learning opportunities offered by organizations across sectors compared with isolated, independent entities. Ecosystem partners are not bound by geographic boundaries and can broadly involve individuals and organizations in both physical and virtual engagement to create STEM communities that expand from local to global.

Every stakeholder addressed in this document would be a natural contributor to a STEM ecosystem. Elected officials, school and college administrators, nonprofit directors, faith leaders, and business executives are often ideally situated to organize and foster ecosystems where none yet exist. In and out of-school educators communicating with
employers and families through ecosystems can build wraparound support systems beneficial to learners.

Increase the number of Federal funding opportunities that include STEM ecosystem engagement or development as an award selection criterion.

Of course no federal program would be complete without a focus on diversity and claims of inherent discrimination or bias that have to be addressed!

The national benefits of a strong STEM foundation cannot be fully realized until all members of society have equitable access to STEM education and there is much broader participation by those historically under-served and underrepresented in STEM fields and employment. A wide body of research has established that organizations that are diverse in terms of gender, race, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, ability, geography, religion, etc., and provide an inclusive environment that values diversity better retain talent, are
more engaged and productive, are more innovative, and generally are higher performing organizations.

Presently, high-quality STEM opportunities are not available to all learners. Implicit bias is one factor that inhibits the realization of this goal. Disparity in the distribution of human, material, and financial resources across rural, urban, and suburban America also inhibits this goal. An effect is that Blacks or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinos, and American Indians or Alaska Natives are underrepresented in STEM fields as compared with their overall participation in the workforce.

Women in occupations such as computing and engineering are dramatically
underrepresented given their participation in the U.S. workforce as a whole.

One analysis found that many additional inventions and patents, business start-ups,educational innovations, and other stunning achievements could be realized if the under-served had more equitable exposure to innovation.

Even in cases where they are not underrepresented in a community, women and minorities face barriers to success in STEM.

Tennessee Gov’s Education Initiative: Education or Indoctrination? Part 1.

On February 13th, new Tennessee Gov Bill Lee, announced several initiatives regarding education, which immediately begs the following questions.  Should our state be funding initiatives that treat man made climate change as fact? Do we want high school students in Tennessee to be focused on how to reduce their carbon footprint?
Do we really need to start pushing STEM and computer literacy in kindergarten?
Should our state voluntarily follow federal guidelines and partner with private organizations that work from the assumption that females and minorities deserve special attention rather than treating all of our students equally?
Is there any facet of education that has not been affected by political correctness?
Apparently not and this includes STEM education in Tennessee. STEM is an acronym for Science,Technology, Engineering & Math.
And the answers to the questions above appear to be “yes” based on a recent proposal by the Lee administration.

                                                                                       Tennessee Gov Bill Lee

Also on February 13, Gov Lee declared the Future Workforce Initiative that will increase STEM, (Science,Technology,Engineering& Math), training in K-12 schools as part of his first year legislative agenda. He will be requesting $4 million from the legislature for implementation.
A big part of that focus will be on computer science. On that topic Governor Lee stated “By exposing Tennessee students to computer science in their K-12 careers we are ensuring our kids have every chance to land a high-quality job.”

To better understand this, the following link provides great insight.  https://www.tn.gov/governor/news/2019/2/13/gov-bill-lee-announces-the-future-workforce-initiative.html

This initiative, or in politician language “investment”, supports the Tennessee Department of Education’s “Tennessee Pathways” Certification process, as well as the STEM School Designation partnership with groups like Tennessee STEM Innovation Network and Code.org

In 2010, the Tennessee Department of Education partnered with Battelle to launch the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network. The Network utilizes Regional STEM Innovation Hubs and STEM Designated Schools across Tennessee in an attempt to attract student interest. Battelle recently completed a carbon storage project.https://www.battelle.org/case-studies/case-study-detail/battelle-successfully-completes-carbon-storage-project

Tennessee Pathways was launched last year by then Governor Haslam and Commissioner McQueen as part of the Drive to 55. According to the state web site The Tennessee Pathways Certification recognizes high schools
that have developed clear and guided pathways for their students that are built upon partnerships among K-12, post-secondary education, and employers. https://www.tn.gov/education/pathwaystn/pathways-certification.html

Wonder if that has anything to do with the Network’s emphasis on climate change and encouraging students in Tennessee to reduce their carbon footprint? Or maybe the are they just following the Tennessee Academic Standards for Science Connection. ( Humans Impact Climate by Way of the Carbon Cycle) which can be found on this link: http://www.tvastem.com/pbl/human-impact/)

These ready-made STEM project-based learning modules were created in partnership with the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) and TSIN all about electricity and energy. These PBLs (Problem Based Learning) were created by teachers, for teachers, in line and with the latest state standards. More information can be found by
clicking this link https://www.tsin.org/energy-pbl-module

While there is certainly nothing wrong per se with teaching our kids computer science or STEM, that can and should be done without perpetuating the man made climate change mantra that is the basis for AOC, ( Alexandria Ocasio Cortez) level insanity such as the Green New Deal!

Another issue of concern is the “kindergarten to jobs” theme found on the Tennessee Stem Innovation Network site, ( https://www.tsin.org/mision-and-vision ) especially since the new federal STEM 5 year strategic plan, released December 4, 2018 also references K-12 responsibilities and similar language. https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/STEM-Education-Strategic-Plan-2018.pdf

This author personally contacted the Tennessee Stem Innovation Network interim director last week and asked if our state STEM program was federally funded and was told that it was state funded but there were some federal grants available. I asked if Tennessee intended to follow the federal Stem Education Strategic Plan and was told yes and that the intention was to merge the state plan with the federal as well as with another from the US State Department. I have yet to find a strategic plan on the State Dept site but what I found in the federal plan is bad enough! The number of federal agencies involved in this plan should be of concern to everyone!

Coming up in part two, some examples from the introduction and the Executive Summary that show the federal governments intent to be heavily involved in STEM and how they intend to use grants to
further their objectives.

Nashville Public School Hosting Islamic Fundraiser

As the right to say Merry Christmas, and speak of anything relating to Christianity in public institutions dwindles across America, the right of Muslims to speak about Islam grows.

In this case, a Metro Nashville Public school, Gower Elementary, has opened its doors to the Islamic Center of Nashville’s nearly completed Bellevue mosque to hold a fundraising lunch. While this may be a test of separation of church and state,  are the leaders of the Islamic Centers presenting Islam as a way of life rather than a religion to gain access to publicly funded venues?

The obvious question is why  a taxpayer funded school is allowing a “religious” institution to raise money for itself ? The other question should be why is  a Muslim Brotherhood organization  being allowed to conduct anything at all within our country?

The Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN) is owned and run by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) which is funded by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT). This is the warranty deed of the ICN with the same address as ISNA.

The Islamic Society of North America is the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization in the United States. In addition to its Muslim Brotherhood affiliations, the current imam, Ossama Muhammad Bahloul  ( a speaker at the luncheon) hails from Cairo Egypt, where he attended Al-Azahar University, which is dominated by the Muslim Brotherhood. Not only does the Muslim Brotherhood use the university to recruit  thousands of students to adopt ISIS-style beliefs, the Brotherhood used the organization to train young people for combat, including members of Al-Qaida.

In 2017, students from another Nashville public school, Meigs Middle Magnet School, attended what was supposed to be a lesson in “history” at the Islamic Center of Nashville, (ICN) but that quickly turned into a session in dawa ( the proselytizing of Islam) . Here in this audio, the speaker,
Dina Sirois, the mosque’s operations director, suggests when the students leave the mosque, they will have a compartment in their brain filled with “Islam stuff”. Pure indoctrination.

The Islamic Center of Nashville is the same mosque where Carlos Bledsoe also known as Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad joined while attending Tennessee State University. After becoming a member of the ICN, Carlos was sent to Yemen, where he thought he would be learning Arabic, but instead was exposed to radical, anti-American propaganda, and was “brainwashed”, according to his father Melvin Bledsoe of Memphis TN. Carlos changed his name to Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, after the imam at that time at the ICN. In 2009, Carlos went to Little Rock Arkansas where he shot and killed 2 soldiers in the name of Allah.

This is the same mosque singer Cat Stevens, now known as Yusef Islam, donated $17,000 to, to help purchase the building and the adjacent lot.  In the 1990’s Stevens was banned from entering the United States after he     raised tens of thousands of dollars for Hamas in cooperation with its British fundraising arm, known as the Relief Fund for Lebanon and Palestine. Hamas is a designated terrorist organization in the U.S.

Cat Stevens visiting the ICN

The Islamic Center of Nashville  is the same mosque that invites speakers  such as Siraj Wahhaj– who was raised as a Baptist but converted to Islam under the leadership of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. He is the imam at the al-Taqwa mosque in New York. He preaches that the U.S. should and will become an Islamic state because “Islam is better than democracy.” What does Wahhaj tell his audiences?

“Islam is better than democracy. Allah will cause his deen [Islam as a complete way of life], Islam to prevail over every kind of system, and you know what? It will happen.”
“If only Muslims were clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate. If we were united and strong, we’d elect our own emir and give allegiance to him. Take my word, if eight million Muslims unite in America, the country will come to us,” he said in 1992.
“You don’t get involved in politics because it’s the American thing to do. You get involved in politics because politics are a weapon to use in the cause of Islam.”

The Islamic Center of Nashville has quite a different persona behind its closed doors, yet in public they preach peace and tolerance. There is nothing tolerant or peaceful about the Muslim Brotherhood. Do no believe for one second they are only a political party here to work with America. Their beliefs are completely antithetical to the American way of life. Yet, our schools, churches and communities continue to embrace them while dismissing their own.

This is who and what Nashville public schools have exposed your children to. Wake up people.

TN Dept of Education Urges Students To Participate in Walkouts.

Why would a Commissioner of Education in Tennessee send a letter to all schools to encourage their students to participate in upcoming student walkouts? That’s what Candace McQueen has done, all under the guise of student safety, and the right for children’s free speech. Really?

What Candace McQueen isn’t telling parents is who organized these national events, and what they really are about..it isn’t about safety..it’s all about resist, and selective activism. In the five page “Guidance on Student Walkouts” (*read entire document below), it urges students, teachers and administrators to participate in three planned, “student led” protests, even providing sample notes to be sent to parents.

These aren’t student led events, these are protests organized by radical, leftist leaders of groups that are also active in dismantling and destroying America. The first event is scheduled for March 14, led by none other than Linda Sarsour,of the Womens March. Sarour is a Muslim activist who hates America, and promotes Sharia Law, which oppresses women. Sarsour has called for jihad against the President of the United States, supports Muslim Brotherhood front groups with known ties to Hamas, and is active with promoting the Black Lives Matter movement. Below Sarsour still uses the false narrative of hands up don’t shoot as equating her concern for all children’s safety.

If you are a leftie, and believe in the resistance movement then March 24th is the protest for you.  March For Our Lives continues to state it’s a “student led” walkout, except it’s occurring in Washington DC! Can masses of children in high schools afford the transportation, lodging, meals and any other expenses on their own,  probably not. So left leaning, socialist loving actors like George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Kate Capshaw, and Steven Spielberg have donated thousands, ($500,000 to be exact) on their behalf.

Finally, the April 20th “schoolwalkoutUS” is set on that date to remember the victims of the first school shooting 19 years ago in Columbine High School, although kids in high school today weren’t even born then. Despite calls to set another date out of respect for those who died that day, organizers feel its appropriate. Again, it is who is leading the charge for this march, which is the “indivisible” crowd. The same “indivisible” that has waged war against President Trump.

Indivisible was formed at the same time Obama’s resist movement “Organizing for Action” was formed, and their mission statement reads in part “a grassroots movement of local groups to defeat the Trump agenda, elect progressive leaders, and realize bold progressive policies”.

Candace MCQueen, the Commissioner of Education for TN Schools, seems to think promoting these events is a good idea, and it may be if you yourself are liberal and looking to create mini activists.  Taxpayers in TN pay for children to learn, not to walk out of class. They also most likely don’t approve of re-scheduling tests that are to be given on April 20th. How is this fair to students who dont’ participate in these protests? Oh but it isn’t about being fair, it’s all about resisting.

Student Walk Out: It Isn’t about Safety, It’s About Resisting.

As more and more students are interviewed by the main stream media, not once have I heard killer Nikolas Cruz be blamed for the death of 17 precious souls in FL.  Not once has he been the brunt of anger by  the fist shaking, disgruntled young people gathered at anti-gun rallies this weekend. Instead, their anger and hate is focused on the President of the United States, the NRA and some members of Congress. One of the most disturbing signs seen at a rally in Parkland FL, where the massacre by Nikolas Cruz occurred, was a sign claiming “the blood is on your hands” next to a picture of the President, not the actual person that literally had blood on his hands.

What started as a national walk out for students, organized by a radical, anti American Muslim activist Linda Sarsour, now has turned into three separate actions including Sarsour’s “Mpower” ,  The Women’s March, and March for Our lives. This isn’t about students and their safety in schools, this is about the resist movement which has hijacked and politicized this horrific event in an effort to cause chaos and disruption in classrooms across America.

Students that have planned a walk out to show their frustration and concern about their safety in school legitimately have issues that should be heard. Aligning themselves and their message with  leaders of marches who wore vagina hats, and support violent, controversial movements, such as BLM, will only muddy their cause, and most likely will not be taken seriously.

Allowing leftist, socialist, and Islamist activists to drive their narrative is not what these students need.  Sarsour states “the youths have united and see these events as part of an escalation strategy”.  Sarsour, an avid supporter of many Muslim Brotherhood front groups in the U.S , has been on the front lines of many “strategies” gone bad,  including the Ferguson riots, and BLM marches. Sarsour also has called for “jihad” against the President of the United States, and states that white men are fascists.

What part of a genuine discussion regarding student’s safety requires an “escalation strategy”?  It doesn’t, unless their willing to follow the footprints these groups have made that left many communities burned to the ground, (Ferguson) and called for cops to be killed (BLM).

No, this isn’t about how to secure schools, and learn the best practices to carry out those measures. It isn’t about mental health solutions, or getting back to family and God, it’s about using these kids to deliver the leftist, socialist, Islamist agenda that is called the resistance. Use any method, and means to disrespect authority, disrupt and destroy.

It’s now up to the students, and their parents.  Will they choose to be genuine in the desire to make change, be leaders in their own rightful movement, or be  clueless followers of a cause that seeks to dismantle and destroy the best country in the world.

Solo Rutherford County TN School Board Member Visits Controversial Mosque.

In October of 2012, Rutherford County School Board member Aaron Holladay expressed his concerns to me regarding the influx of Muslim Students in his school district and shared his worries about why so many Muslim families were moving into Murfreesboro. Mr. Holladay then went on to state he home schools his own children because of the number of Muslim children attending his schools, and how poor the system is.

Fast forward to November 2017,  with the intent to run for public office in 2018, Mr. Holladay has decided he may need the Muslim communities support, and decided he would accept an invitation to the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, as they reached out to the entire school board of Rutherford County to visit their mosque.

Why would a school board member of a public school system think it was his duty to attend such a function?  Let’s start with the invitation itself.

Change leaders? What change does Emily Mitchell, the former president of the Rutherford Education Association wish to instill when calling for school board members to visit a controversial Islamic center with radical ties?  Did Ms. Mitchell call for “tours” of Christian or Jewish places of worship? Why would public school officials need to meet with leaders of the Muslim community?

Aaron Holladay

Emily Mitchell

Interestingly enough, Aaron Holladay was the only school board member to attend, which apparently he felt the need to justify his actions in an awkward, somewhat bizarre letter to his fellow colleagues.  While communications spokesman  for Rutherford County Schools James Evans states the event was described as a “goodwill” meeting and” not for the purpose of conducting school business”, Mr. Holladay seems to implicate it was his duty as an elected official.

Mr. Holladay has been provided the truth about the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro. It was during a dinner meeting at a Ruby Tuesdays in Smyrna TN in Oct of 2012, that he was given information regarding the connections to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) aka Hamas, the Centers leaders, specifically Saleh Sbenaty had with them. Nihad Awad, a self proclaimed supporter of Hamas ( a designated terrorist organization in the U.S) has visited the center on many occasions, as well as many well known members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Nihad Awad (center) Saleh Sbenaty 2nd from right.

While Mr. Holladay would like everyone to believe his self righteous reason for visiting the mosque, there are many reasons for his decision to attend.  Now, just some of many questions need to be asked. Why did an elected school board member accept an invitation to a religious institution, specifically to meet with its leaders? Why are teachers such as Emily Mitchell attending meet and greets representing their schools?

For Mr. Holladay, the answers are undoubtedly two fold, he took advantage of an invitation to the mosque to not only potentially affect his voting as a school board member, he puffed his chest hopefully to gain votes and support for when he runs for office again. In 2016, Mr. Holladay ran against state Rep. Mike Sparks, losing by a huge margin.

“None of these places define who I am, nor does my passing through endorse their existence”  says Mr. Holladay. But it does raise questions as to your ability to perform your job to determine the interest of all students.  Oh but that doesn’t matter anymore, since you have your eyes on a bigger prize in 2018.

Muslim Speaker Teaches Nashville Students Islam, Not History

The Meigs Middle Magnet School in Nashville TN has allowed their students to take a field trip to the Islamic Center of Nashville, a mosque that has had much controversy and hosts regularly, known  radical speakers. (go here for info on this mosque)

Today’s talk is to expand your critical thinking skills, we’re not trying to win you over, we’re trying to give you information so that you can leave here today with another little piece of your brain that has a new little storage compartment that has been filled with Islam stuff. And then you take that on with your life and faith journey and you keep adding more and more different aspects from different faiths and cultures and you make your final decision as to what kind of person you want to be”.

Out of a 58 minute lecture, 38 of those are dedicated to promoting Islam as a “cool religion” even stating “don’t believe the hype” regarding their own faiths.

So that you may hear the majority of the speech for yourself, listen  the audio above. The question needing to be asked of the administrators of this school would be what is the historical value of this commentary?

There isn’t any. Asking young students “do I look oppressed?” or “Do I look like anyone can tell me what to do?” isn’t about history, neither is comparing their praying to yoga positions, all to equate Islam to terms young people understand. This is proselytizing under the guise of social studies.

Oscar Mayer Bacon.

Metro Nashville School to Take Students to Radical Mosque for Field Trip

It’s happening again. Some Metro Nashville schools are facilitating field trips to the Islamic Center of Nashville, which has many parents wondering once again, why the need to send school children to a mosque? What is the historical value of public school students attending this field trip?

The Islamic Center of Nashville is hardly free of issues when it comes to supporting those with radical, anti-American,anti-Christian, anti-Jew sentiment. Below are just some examples of what this mosque has been involved in, including a video clip from a documentary titled Losing Our Sons. This is the story of a Christian young man who began attending prayers at the Islamic Center of Nashville, who then converted to Islam. Carlos Bledsoe of Memphis TN, who took the name of his Imam AbdulHakim Mohammed, was radicalized at the Islamic Center of Nashville. Carlos was sent to school in Yemen where he spent 18 months, 4 of which he was imprisoned, and upon his return to the United States,  on a mission from Allah, he opened fire on a Little Rock recruiting center, where he killed Pvt. William “Andy” Long.

Who is Abdulhakim Mohamed?  He was the Imam at the Islamic Center of Nashville (ICN)  from 1999-2007  who came to Nashville from the radical Brooklyn Al Farooq mosque which had a documented history of raising money for terrorists and is the same mosque attended by the “blind sheik” who was convicted in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

This excerpt is just one example of the hatred towards Christians spewed by past Imams of the Islamic Center of Nashville, where Nashville public school educators think it’s a good idea to have a field trip.

In the spring of 2011 the Islamic Center of Nashville’s Imam Ahmed Mohammed, gave a lecture in Nashville in which he defended the Egyptian police forced virginity tests reportedly performed on the female protesters in Tahrir Square.  He also talked about honor killings and confirmed that they do occur throughout the Muslim world and even suggested that they used to occur in the U.S. but no longer because of how “crazy our moral ethics have become.”

He testified against the anti-terrorism bill during the 2011 legislative session and was also a participant at the TN Dept. of Homeland Security’s closed door June 2011 meeting with the Tennessee DHS Regional Advisor James Cotter.

Women that are not virgins are a cause of honor killings? Perhaps that mindset of a former imam at the Islamic Center of Nashville should sink in as your daughters attend a field trip to this mosque. This is the same imam that in 2012 invited students from Hendersonville High School to take the Quran as they exited the mosque.

The current Imam at the Islamic Center of Nashville is Ossama Bahloul – who hails from Al Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt – with a degree in Da’awah (prosletyzing for Islam; his thesis was the establishment of a Da’awah curriculum aimed at secularists, atheists, Christians, Jews, and Muslims)

Al Azhar is credited with starting the Islamist movement with training from Islamic radicals and closely tied to Muslim Brotherhood and stands for the propagation of Islam and Sharia as a complete way of life.

A mosques library often reflects the ideology of its leaders. Some of the books found in the Islamic Center of Nashville should be no surprise, considering how radical their past imams have been.

Islam & Chrisitianity” by Mrs Ulfat Aziz-us-Samad (available now through Amazon):

“Christianity is too other-worldy..The outcome of such a teaching can only be the production of stunted and contorted hypocrites instead of full grown human beings.

“Christianity is seen as a corruption of Christ’s message and Islam as the true religion of Jesus”

Towards Understanding Islam” by Abdul A’la Mawdudi (also available through Amazon)

“…jihad is as much a primary duty of the Muslims as are the daily prayers or fasting…The greatest sacrifice made in the way of God is jihad.  In it man sacrifices not only his own life and belongings, but destroys those of others as well”.

Veiling & Un-Veiling” by Hala Bint Abdullah (also available through Amazon)

“The veil shall cover the whole body of the woman including the face and palms of the hands….Unveiling is a heresy, error and a violation of both the Islamic religion and the purified tradition (Sunnah).  It is an evidence that a woman who uncovers herself has a weakness in belief as it strips her from chastity and modesty…Additionally, uncovering takes away dignity and the granted legal rights from the woman, revealing of her private parts, exposing her shortcomings (faults)..A woman being unveiled will be in a state of rebellion against Islamic society…”

Still think a field trip to the Islamic Center of Nashville is appropriate?

Speakers invited often to the Islamic Center of Nashville includes imams such as Siraj Wahhaj– who was raised as a Baptist but converted to Islam under the leadership of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. He is the imam at the al-Taqwa mosque in New York. He preaches that the U.S. should and will become an Islamic state because “Islam is better than democracy.”

What does Wahhaj tell his audiences?

Another “friend” of the Islamic Center of Nashville is Memphis Imam Yasir Qadhi. Qadhi,  is a resident scholar at the Memphis Islamic Center and Dean of Academic Affairs, al Maghrib Institute. His media company used to sell recordings by the al-Qaeda terrorist Anwar Awalaki. Al Maghrib students include the Christmas Day bomber and convicted terrorist Daniel Maldonado. Qadhi is an International speaker and Holocaust denier, who says “we are loyal to our countries insofar as it does not interfere with our religion of Islam.”
Qadhi calls Christians and Jews spiritually “filthy.”

Qadhi also tells students the only laws that can be followed are those created by Allah, not man made laws such as the Constitution.

There are many many more examples of how the Islamic Center of Nashville’s imams, supporters and friends are on a path that defies everything America stands for, including their anti Christian, anti-Jewish sentiment. Do not for one minute be swayed by the deeds they boast about, that is their means to cover the truth.

What is said in public is one thing, what is said behind closed doors is quite another.

Is this where you think your child should be taken to on a field trip? Nashville Metro schools think it is.
