Nashville Reporter: “Don’t pray in public like the hypocrites do.”

Lefties, and their news rags in Tennessee seem to be outraged over the ” Tennessee Legislative Prayer Caucus” where officials of any religion are invited to pray prior to starting their day.  Imagine! The audacity of those elected officials, in the Buckle of the Bible Belt praying together, for strength and guidance, asking for divine intervention to heal the lawless, Godless nation we are being led to. Good for them!

If you want a good laugh, read “Don’t Pray in Public Like the Tennessee Legislators Do”,an article written by a reporter for the Nashville Scene. Betsy Phillips, obviously, a pink pussy cat wearing hat writer, tries to demean Christians by suggesting good Christians should really follow what Jesus commands, to embrace homosexuals, and stop supporting laws that harm the poor. Ms. Phillips, your hat is too tight.

But the thing that bugs me most of all about this bugs me at the level of being a minister’s kid and not being able to let go of my Bible training. Jesus gave really specific instructions in Matthew 6 about how to pray. He said not to pray for show. He said that people who pray to be seen praying have gotten all they’re going to get out of praying — the notoriety that comes with praying in public.”

Really? So Ms. Phillips surely feels Muslims praying in public are only doing so for notoriety. She must have been offended when Muslims held their Community day in the TN State War Memorial building, where the only prayers were conducted by Jew and Christian hater Yasir Qahdi. (see more on Yasir Qahdi here)

Or maybe she agrees what a spectacle it was when Imam Ahmedulhadi Sharif Ibrahim of the Islamic Center of Tennessee led prayers on the sidewalk in downtown Nashville.

Muslims around the United States take over parks, streets and even football stadiums to perform their spectacles everyday.

Wonder what Ms. Phillips thinks about that? Ms. holier than thou further states: “There’s a word for when your actions and your values don’t align. Jesus uses it in this very chapter, in this verse: “Don’t pray in public like the hypocrites do.”

Perhaps Ms. Phillips should look at a Quran. There she would find how Muslim actions actually do align with their values.

[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, “I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip. That is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger – indeed, Allah is severe in penalty. Sura 8:12

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliya’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliya’, then surely, he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers and unjust).  Sura 5:51

“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement” Sura 5:33

Maybe Ms. Phillps should peruse world news where Christians  are being slaughtered everyday because Muslims actually follow what their doctrine prescribes them to do. Kill the non believers.

So called reporters like Ms. Phillips need to do research before writing nonsense. Our Tennessee leaders , of any religion are invited to pray in a private room before getting to work, unlike Muslims who must pray in public to prove they can. Like Phillips quotes “Don’t pray in public like the hypocrites do.

Those pesky Muslims are such hypocrites!

  1. She and the rests should be called “agents of influence” – that is an old as the world application of the craft of subversion.

  2. Ms Cathy, I’m not complaining, no, just got a bit nauseated at some of the pics. You folks out there need to know these people do not bath, wipe their butts with their left hand. Can you imagine the smell, when these buttlifters , now I know that some off you refer to them as azzlifters but I did want to be polite. Yes taking the high road. Deport them all, but don’t deport on the plane I’m flying on.
