Posted on Tennessee’s American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC)’s website is an announcement about their partnership with the TN Department of Economic & Community Development (ECD). Expanding their inroads into the state government, AMAC’s newest relationship is based on a grant for Digital Literacy Courses. The training is provided by AMAC.
The courses are for refugees and new Americans. It is not clear whether U.S. arrival timelines or how long they have been living in the U.S., are required for trainees.
AMAC’s new digital courses are another freebie offered alongside free assistance in housing issues and of course, plenty of information, support and direction when it comes to voting.
How the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Gained Followers
The Brotherhood’s founder, Egyptian school teacher Hassan al-Banna, understood that influencing poor people by providing “educational and health services alongside a steady diet of Islamist teachings” would be the fastest way to gain followers.
Not surprisingly, it worked.
It didn’t take long for the MB to grow into a transnational movement with outposts across the Arab world and in Western countries including the U.S. The MB a leading proponent of global Sharia law and represents the quintessential expression of “political Islam”.
The MB’s plan for embedding and growing its network in the U.S. with the stated goal of a “civilizational jihad”, was discovered by the FBI during a 2004 raid of Ismail Selim Elbarasse’s home. Along with his other credentials Elbarasse was an Hamas activist.
The MB plan for “civilization jihad” in the U.S.
Discovered in a hidden sub-basement in Elbarasse’s home, was a key and revelatory document titled “An Explanatory Memorandum On the General Strategic Goal for the Group In North America 5/22/1991” (scroll down in the document to read the English).

This document was authenticated and introduced during the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial in federal court. During the trial the defense stipulated to the MB’s U.S. plan (meaning they agreed that the document was what it was presented to be).
The 2008 HLF trial, the biggest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history, was the event that exposed CAIR’s undeniable ties to Hamas. Evidence presented by the government during the trial established that the “mission and purpose of HLF was to raise funds for Hamas” with HLF at the time being one of the largest Muslim charities in the U.S. funneling money to Hamas. CAIR, along with other organizations, was named an unindicted co-conspirator based on evidence of its ties to Hamas, a U.S. designated foreign terrorist organization. Because of “extensive evidence” introduced in court tying CAIR to Hamas, its unindicted co-conspirator status remains.
State-level Muslim Advisory Councils like AMAC are a popular tool of the Islamist infiltration advanced by many of the MB organizations listed in the 1991 Explanatory Memorandum (see above). These state level Islamist groups have proliferated across the U.S..
It doesn’t matter whether groups like AMAC acknowledge any affiliation with the MB or knowledge of the 1991 Memorandum; knowingly or unknowingly, they are activating the objectives and effect of the MB’s plan for “civilzation jihad”.
Dawa and AMAC’s Digital Literacy Training
In addition to the Islamist’s obligation to proselytize Islam, the use of Dawa was very much part of the MB’s 1991 “civilizaiton jihad”.
In 2007, Yusef Al Qaradawi (now deceased), spiritual leader of the MB, stated, “Islam will conquer Europe without resorting to the sword or fighting. The conquest will be through da’wah and ideology”.
According to Al Qaradawi dawa is comprise[d] of “education, charity, and social aid, meant to bring others closer to Islam; Ideology, promulgated through religious and political institutions, and echoed through media platforms; and Fertility, based on the shrinking birthrate among European Christians, compared with larger Muslim families.”
GainPeace says dawa “can be as subtle and simple as modeling proper Islamic behavior and character. It’s important to remember that Muslims represent Islam in the eyes of Non-muslims, so modeling exemplary character is vital to showing the beauty of Islam to others.”
With the not-so-subtle objective of bringing them into Islam.
Looking at the ways GainPeace says Islamists can do dawa with their character, AMAC’s digital tutoring looks like a perfect fit.
GainPeace’s website notes that they “work under the umbrella of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), one of the dawa spearheading organizations in the U.S. “Dawah has always been the top priority of ICNA.”
Where is AMAC heading?
Metro Nashville Council member at-large Zulfat Suara, led AMAC from its earliest days for about seven years until she decided to run for office. She did, however, remain on AMAC’s board for some time as the treasurer.
Reading the tea leaves, Suara’s non-denial of wanting to be Nashville’s mayor, and her connections to notorious Islamists and Bernie Sanders, she is more than likely to be planning her next campaign. She will be termed out of her Council at-large seat by the time the August 2027 election arrives and the not-particularly-successful-or-well-liked current mayor has already announced a re-election campaign.
No doubt though that Suara will be surveying her options for her next public office. No doubt that the new arrivals AMAC is tapping into will help them widen their reach while AMAC continues it’s Jew-hating agenda and joins with other groups that perpetuate the lie of Israel committing a genocide.
Special note to AMAC’s executive director and founding board member Sabina Mohyuddin would wanted to know “whether anti-Zionist views are antisemitic”. Yes they are.
According to Martin Luther King Jr., anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. As he said, “When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You are talking anti-Semitism.”
More recently, NYC mayor Mamdani has demonstrated that Mohyuddin’s question seeking permission to further agitate against Zionism, results in serious physical violence against Jews.
