AMAC Board Member Welcomed Anti-Semites Ilhan Omar and Rep. Pramila Jayapal to Nashville

It’s looking more and more like 2016 was the start of TN’s American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) love affair with anti-Semites. 2016 was the year that anti-Semite Linda Sarsour was featured at an AMAC event. That same year Ilhan Omar and her radically progressive anti-Semite defender, Pramila Jayapal were brought into AMAC’s circle of friends.

2016, was the year Omar was elected to the Minnesota state legislature and Jayapal moved up from the Washington state legislature to the U.S. House of Representatives.

This is the same year that AMAC’s Board member, Somali agitator Mohamed Shukri Hassan, welcomed Ilhan Omar and Pramila Jayapal to a home-based gathering in East Nashville.

Shukri Hassan met Jayapal and Omar in Nashville

Shukri Hassan attended the January 10, 2019, meeting with Governor-elect Lee.

Like Omar, Shukri Hassan got into the U.S. via the refugee resettlement program. Both of them grew up benefitting from the goodies generous Americans make available to refugees. Yet both of them are steeped in disdain for this America and American conservatives who ascribe to Judeo-Christian principles.

In fact, sharia adherent Omar and Hassan hate us so much that they have devoted their lives to changing our country.

Before launching her legislative career, Ilhan Omar was a board member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s CAIR-Minnesota organization. Shukri Hassan was president of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) while he was a student at TN State University. The MSA was one of the first Muslim Brotherhood organizations established in the U.S.

Being an anti-Semite comes naturally to sharia and Muslim Brotherhood followers.

CAIR’s connections to U.S. designated terrorist group HAMAS have been established with credible evidentiary documentation in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism prosecution. Since its founding, HAMAS has remained committed to a singular purpose – the elimination of the State of Israel and genocide for its Jews through violent jihad.

A lawsuit revived in federal court last year has exposed details about the connections of the U.S. HAMAS support network and certain Islamist organizations including the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). It was the leaders of IAP who founded CAIR.

Nihad Awad, CAIR’s national executive director has stated publicly that he supports HAMAS. Prior to forming CAIR, Awad was the president of IAP.

AMAC’s Shukri Hassan arrived in Tennessee in 2006. His mother was the first to arrive in the U.S. as a refugee and was resettled in Georgia. After Shukri Hassan and his six siblings were able to join her, they all relocated to Tennessee.

Shortly after finishing high school, Shukri Hassan joined TIRRC (TN Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition) to learn the ins and outs of being a leftist agitator and working as a “Welcoming TN Coordinator” speaking to Chambers of Commerce and Rotary clubs.

At the same time, Shukri Hassan worked as an Outreach Coordinator for the Metro Public Health Department as a caseworker for the now-defunct Center for Refugees & Immigrants of Tennessee (CRIT).

CRIT was originally named the Somali Community Center but changed its name after its Executive Director, Abdirizak Hassan pled guilty to federal grant fraud. The federal charge relates back to his indictment in 2001 for felony illegal banking. Prior to serving as ED of the Somali Community Center/CRIT, Hassan ran a hawala money changing business which counter-terrorism investigators was linked to a bank service linked to al-Qaeda.

Before Shukri Hassan began serving as a Board member and the Program Director for AMAC, he took a fellowship with AMAC’s sister organization, the American Center for Outreach (ACO). The ACO
was started by a Kurdish refugee who was a former lobbyist for TIRRC.

After she left, ACO was led by former CAIR director, Paul “Iesa” Galloway.

AMAC may not call itself CAIR, but it operates same way using the same tactics.

U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal who traveled with Ilhan Omar to the house party in East Nashville, has a special soft spot for Somalis like Omar and Shukri Hassan.

Before she got into politics, first as a state Senator and then polluting the U.S. House of Representatives with her radical progressive politics, she led a leftist organization called the Hate Free Zone Campaign of Washington (state). In 2003, under her leadership, the organization stopped the deportation of Somali criminals and visa overstayers in the U.S.

Incredibly, the judge in the case remarked that “the government had provided no concrete evidence to support the notion that al-Qaida is active in Somalia, or that there is any connection at all between the Somalis and terrorism.”

FBI statistics show that the district Ilhan Omar represents in Congress, has the highest rate of terrorist recruitment in the United States.

Like Omar, Jayapal is a strident and shrill opponent of President Trump and his policies about importing more refugees from terror-prone countries.

Jayapal is currently the co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) which Ilhan Omar joined as soon as she was elected to the U.S. House.

It was through the arm-twisting efforts of the CPC and the Black Congressional Caucus that forced Pelosi to allow the anti-semitism resolution to be highjacked away from Omar’s relentless Jew-hating speech so that she and her fellow Islamists somehow became the victims.

Only 23 Republicans – none from Tennessee by the way – had the moral and political fortitude to vote against the resolution.

Across the board, Tennessee Republican House members voted FOR a resolution that legitimized the myth of Islamophobia, avoided any condemnation of Ilhan Omar, and deflected from the bigger problem of anti-Semitism.

Tennessee Republicans that voted FOR the resolution (because they were too scared to be called racists?) – Tim Burchett, Scott DeJarlais, Chuck Fleischmann, Mark Green, David Kustoff, Phil Roe and John Rose.

Do these guys have any idea what’s really going on in their own state?????

Samar Ali Working For Metro Council Candidate Who Publicly Embraces Anti-Semites

Straight lines and connections coming at us in every direction!

It starts with Gov-elect Bill Lee’s second meeting with the TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) just days before his inauguration.

The photo from that meeting included Samar Ali which was noted to be a little strange since she has not been known to publicly affiliate with the AMAC hijab wearing crowd. It’s true that even though Samar was born in the U.S. and raised in Waverly, Tennessee, she desperately clings to a Middle Eastern identity.

When Samar was an undergraduate student at Vanderbilt, Ali co-founded the Middle Eastern Students Association because, as she said, “I will always be Arab and I will always be American and I will always be Muslim… My parents always taught us to never forget where we came from and to never forget where we are now.”

While Ali identifies herself and her family as Arabs and Muslim, she reserves the American identity part for herself. Her mother immigrated to the U.S. from Syria and her father is a Palestinian from Ramallah, the city where Yasser Arafat, leader of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) established his headquarters.

From its founding, the PLO was committed to the destruction of the State of Israel and only decided to follow a political course when acts of terrorism against civilians didn’t achieve the desired outcome.

Ali’s father, Subhi Ali appears to have brought his Jew-hatred with him when he came to the U.S.

Not much is known about Subhi Ali’s political activities prior to him joining the leadership of the Jerusalem Fund, an organization headquartered in D.C., that pushes an aggressive anti-Israel agenda. Subhi Ali joined the Jerusalem Fund in 2000, became Vice-President in 2004 serving alongside its founder, Hisham Sharabi.

After Sharabi died, Subhi Ali became President of the Board in 2005, a position he still retains.

Sharabi was a supporter of “radical Palestinian terror groups,” and advocated a Palestinian “armed struggle” if necessary, to end “Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza.” He described HAMAS as “the true fida’i (self-sacrifice) resistance in Palestine since the outbreak of the Palestinian intifada.

In 1997, the U.S. State Department designated HAMAS as a foreign terrorist organization.

Sharabi was also a board member of WISE (World and Islam Studies Enterprise) which was incorporated and led by Sami al-Arian who was sent to prison in 2006, and deported 9 years later because of his leadership of the U.S.-designated terrorist organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).

WISE was funded by the Muslim Brotherhood’s IIIT (International Institute of Islamic Thought). Tarik Hamdi, identified as an officer/staff member of WISE, is listed in a federal affidavit as providing material support to Al-Qaeda, Bin Laden and the PIJ. He left WISE to work for IIIT.

WISE served as the U.S. money-receiving front for PIJ and while Sharabi was a board member, funneled payments to the PIJ martyrs through the Islamic International Arab Bank (Arab Bank).

Later on, Samar Ali was an intern in Amman, Jordan, for the Arab Bank during the time that a lawsuit had been filed against the bank alleging that the bank was managing the funding of payments to the families of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) martyrs.

As early as 2003, the Jerusalem Fund was labeling Israel an apartheid state guilty of ethnic cleansing (of Palestinians) – just one of the many lies told by political propagandists seeking to delegitimize and target the Jewish homeland.

The Jeruslaem Fund’s former Executive Director Yousef Munayyer was explicit in his anti-Israel pro-BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) advocacy. When asked by Sean Hannity, Munayyer did not answer the question, “Is HAMAS a terrorist organization?”

Munayyer left the Jerusalem Fund in 2014, to direct the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR). Tablet Magazine has exposed a troubling money relationship between USCPR and U.S. designated foreign terrorist organizations in the piece BDS Umbrella Group Linked to Palestinian Terrorist Organizations.

Under Subhi Ali’s leadership, the Jerusalem Fund has intensified it’s anti-Israel attacks with help from Omar Barghouti, co-founder of the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel.

The most important thing to understand about BDS is that it is being used to make anti-Semitism once again acceptable in civil society.

Today’s BDS is fueled by anti-Semitic rhetoric from agitators who openly attack Zionism, the movement that helped to establish the State of Israel. BDS’ers deceptively embed their purported objectives in language about social justice and human rights, but at the same time, call for a genocide of the Jewish people. Rallying around their mantra “Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea” BDS’ers want no Israel or Jews to exist between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Ocean.

Jew-haters like Linda Sarsour, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib proudly push BDS. They are the Jew-haters publicly and personally embraced by the TN American Muslim Advisory Council and its chairman, Zulfat Suara, here, here, here and here.

Samar is picking up the threads of her father’s anti-Jew agenda by helping anti-Semite embracer Zulfat Suara, get elected to the Metro Nashville City Council.

Samar Ali working for Zulfat

At least one Tennessee conservative thinks Samar Ali is a “superstar.”

AMAC Chair Zulfat Suara Taking Lessons From Dishonest (and Jew-hating) Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib?

Like a silly schoolgirl with a crush, TN American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) Chair Zulfat Suara gushes over Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar:

Neither Tlaib nor Omar’s suspect circumstances or their open hatred of all things Jewish and Israel have dimmed Zulfat Suara’s admiration and desire to BE. JUST. LIKE. THEM.

According to Big League Politics, Rashida Tlaib is Haunted by Fake Residence Scandal for having “lied about her address on her voter registration — a crime — and kicked off her entire political career with the lie.”

“Michigan Democrat congresswoman Rashida Tlaib registered to vote from a false address, and represented a state House district that she did not actually live in, according to credit score and property records obtained by Big League Politics. Tlaib’s own father even said that Tlaib ‘lied’ about her address in order to run for office.”

So far, over 287,000 people have signed a petition to impeach Tlaib for lying her way into office.

Ilhan Omar’s problems with truthfulness began shortly after winning the Democratic primary for a seat in the Minnesota state legislature. Minneapolis attorney Scott Johnson broke the story about Omar’s suspected immigration fraud related to having married her brother.

Johnson has preserved and posted screen shots from the Somalipost website where comments “suggest that the information [confirming Omar’s immigration and marriage irregularities], is something of an open secret in the Somali community.”

Omar calls it all “disgusting lies” and “broadly denied the allegations in a statement to The Associated Press, but declined to provide documents or answer specific questions when pressed.”

And to further divert anyone from exposing the truth around these issues, Omar drew on the reliable race card – “she believes the claims are being made by people who want to stop a black, female Muslim from sitting in Congress.”

Well, isn’t that convenient.

While Zulfat openly admires Omar, it looks like she may be taking notes from Tlaib’s playbook.

Does the timing of Zulfat’s Metro Council launch and purchase of property or even residing in Davidson County have weird similarities to Tlaib’s recent troubles?

Zulfat announced her campaign for an at-large Metro Council seat during the January 19, 2019, Nashville Women’s March. Eligible candidates for this position are required to be a resident of Davidson County for at least one year.

Zulfat, her husband and her daughter Zainab Suara co-owned a townhouse in Nashville which they sold December 31, 2018.

A Davidson County property record shows Zulfat and her husband purchasing an address in Davidson County on July 11, 2018 for $650,000 which looked to be a home under construction.

The mailing address for that property’s tax bill is in Bolivar, Tennessee where Zulfat and her family have lived since 2002 and where the bill is addressed.

On January 17 2019, Zulfat and her husband sold the house in Bolivar but Zulfat’s Davidson County tax bill was still being mailed to the Bolivar address. Add to this that the deed transferring the house under construction in Davidson County to Zulfat and her husband is dated July 11, 2018.

But the real problem for Zulfat may be the May 2019 qualifying date for the Metro at-large candidates. The question she has to answer is whether in May 2018, she was a resident of Davidson County.

When the rules say a candidate for a Metro Council at-large seat is supposed to be a resident of Davidson County for at least one year, does that mean that they have to actually live in the county or can they just co-own a townhouse with a daughter or own a house under construction?

It Really Does Matter the Company You Keep … and Who the Governor Says He Represents

Governor Lee has justified his two meetings with American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) members because he “represents all Tennesseans.”

Here’s just a little bit more information for Governor Lee to consider if he’s thinking about more meetings with AMAC members.

Zulfat Suara, the chair of AMAC has chosen to embrace known anti-Semites Linda Sarsour, Omar Ilhan and Rashiba Tlaib.

Sarsour has come under fire from former co-leaders of the Women’s March for supporting Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite who has praised Hitler and described Jews as “satanic.”

Today, Ilhan Omar has been condemned for her anti-Semitic tweets, by fellow Democrat Rep. Eliot Engel, Chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee. Engel is quoted as saying that Omar’s “comments about the role of so-called ‘Jewish money’ in U.S. politics is ‘shocking.’”

And this is not the first anti-Semitic trope tweeted out by Omar.

Even pathetic Pelosi condemned Omar’s comments finding them “deeply offensive” and called on her to issue an apology.

Rashida Tlaib is no better, making no effort to hide her anti-Semitism including tweeting out an age-old slander used against American Jews about dual loyalty with regard to Israel. Add to this her passionate support for the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.

Natan Sharansky, a well-known former Soviet Jew and human rights activist, spent 9 years in a Siberian gulag. Upon his release, he immediately became an Israeli citizen, and eventually served in the Israeli Knesset. One of his duties was to monitor anti-Semitism.

He found the newer version of the classical anti-semitism was directed at Zionism and the State of Israel. BDSers self-righteously allege victimization of the Palestinians by Israel but Sharansky exposed what really drives the BDS campaign in his “three D’s” test for anti-Semitism:
double standards – singling out Israel for criticism while ignoring the more egregious behavior of major human rights abusers in countries like Saudi Arabia, Syria, Sudan, Nigeria, North Korea, China, etc
demonization of Israel – distorting the Jewish State’s actions using false comparisons to Nazis or South Africa’s apartheid regime
delegitimization – denying only Israel’s fundamental right to exist among all other peoples in the world

Zulfat has embraced these women as politicians she seeks to emulate as she herself runs for a Metro Council at-large seat.

We’ll watch to see if Governor Lee takes a third meeting from the group Zulfat leads.

The Jew Haters Lee Supporters Say He Had to Meet With – Part 3

Tennessee’s American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC), Zulfat Suara who attended the second meeting with Bill Lee, is pictured standing to his left.

She is also pictured here standing to the left of renowned anti-Semite Linda Sarsour.

Sarsour so admires Zulfat that when she created the “MPower Change” list of Muslim social justice warriors, Sarsour included Zulfat. Predictably, Zulfat’s list-mates included others with solid anti-Semite credentials including the founder of “Dream Defenders” whose is an admirer of the PLO, an organization known for violence targeting Israeli civilians.

The list also includes California CAIR director Zahra Billoo who has aligned herself and her Jew-hatred with Sarsour, earning them the title, Sisters in Hate.

Hatem Bazian is also admired by Sarsour and included in the list of 100. Bazian is the leader of the most organized national movement founded on and fueled by hatred of all things Israel and Jewish. He co-founded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), the college campus anti-Jew group. Often referred to as “HAMAS on campus” SJP is responsible for annual anti-Israel activities, intimidation activities against Jewish and pro-Israel students, and pushing Israel boycott resolutions.

Bazian also founded and chairs the national board of the extreme anti-Israel organization American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) which helps train and support SJP activists like Tennessee American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC) board member and anti-Semite, Drost Kokoye.

You can read more about Kokoye in Part 1 of this series.

Bazian’s AMP organization is a member of the larger anti-Jew coalition called the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), run by the former leader of Samar Ali father’s D.C. organization. Tablet Magazine has exposed a troubling money relationship between USCPR and U.S. designated foreign terrorist organizations.

Last year ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) presented Zulfat with the Muslim Policy Advocate of the Year award. ISNA, like its fellow travelers, promotes BDS against Israel. Speaking at AMP conferences, ISNA’s vice-president Safaa Zarzour says all Muslim organizations should unite behind BDS.

Sounds just like the maze deliberately created by the Muslim Brotherhood’s Holy Land Foundation prosecuted for funneling money to HAMAS.

Bazian lectures at Zaid Shakir’s Zaytuna College, an institution devoted to shaping young Islamists. Shakir, also on the MPower 100 list, professes to the same end goal of the Muslim Brotherhood – to see the “day in which America is a Muslim country ruled by Islamic law,” He came to Tennessee in 2013, to remind young Islamists like Kokoye sitting at his knee of the supremacy of Islam when he tells them that “if Islam is the basis, the kafir [non-believer] won’t be equal with the Muslim. The Christian or the Jew will be a dhimmi [second-class citizen]. They won’t be equal with the Muslim.”

Zulfat Suara’s admiration and connection to Jew-haters like Sarsour doesn’t stop there.

Apparently she personally met Muslim members of Congress Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, both of whom openly support the Boycott, Sanctions & Divestment (BDS) campaign against Israel. Explained extensively in Part 1, the popular pro-BDS genocidal slogan “from the river to the sea Palestine will be free” means no Israel or Jews to exist between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Ocean.

During her campaign for Congress, Ilhan Omar when asked whether she supported BDS, told the audience at the synagogue that she “didn’t think it was effective.” However, after being elected she came out in full support of BDS. In some circles that is called lying.

Zulfat has been so inspired by these newly elected Jew-haters, that after completing a training program for Democrat women candidates, that during her speech at the 2019 Nashville Women’s March, she announced her own candidacy for an at-large seat on the Metro Nashville City Council.

The Nashville Women’s March is a named affiliate of The Women’s March co-founded by Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory. In fact, it was Sarsour who instigated bringing BDS to The Women’s March. Granted, it wasn’t too difficult given that she and her co-leader Mallory are supporters of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite who has praised Hitler and described Jews as “satanic.”

No doubt Zulfat is counting on getting elected using the ruling Democrat doctrine of identity politics. After all, that is what the “My Muslim Vote” campaign is all about.

She has spent plenty of time scoping out the Metro Council and making friends with its members, throwing the AMAC’s support behind the anti-police citizenship oversight board.

Zulfat recently moved from Bolivar to a new address at a Davidson County apartment while she waits for her $650,000 house to be built. For 16 years her husband was the Medical Director of the Hardeman County Community Health Center but is now listed as the Chief Clinical Officer for Neighborhood Health.

Zulfat, who came to Nashville in 1993, from Nigeria, loves to talk about how Muslim women in the U.S, are “oppressed” and that all women who supported Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court belong in hell. Too bad she can’t work up that much passion to help her fellow women being genitally mutilated in her native Nigeria, the country ranked third highest globally for mutilating women.

Bill Lee justifies his meeting with AMAC because he says he represents all Tennesseans. Having already met with AMAC twice, maybe Lee should consider setting aside time to meet with some other Tennesseans he also represents.
